I am very disappointed. I asked for some help with lighting issues around my pool. They were so…read morenice and willing when we first met, but then 3 visits later, promise after promise to fix my problem, and nothing. I tried calling Anthony (the electrician working with us) numerous times and no answer. I called their main number and left messages. No response. I finally sent a certified letter which got their attention. Anthony called back with apologies. "It's on me", he said. He promised to make it right with no further charges. He came and still the problem was not fixed. He was convinced the problem was a transformer. We'll at this point, not only was my problem not fixed, the light inside my pool quit working (it was fine before Anthony did any work). In the mean time, fall arrived and it was time to close the pool. I thought it best to wait until this spring for Anthony to come back as the winter cover was on and the light in the pool was not visible. He agreed, but requested we pay $1300, promising to complete the job come Spring. Well, spring came and 3 texts to Anthony were left unanswered. I sent another certified letter to Pellman's office and this has been ignored. Today, my father in law, a carpenter from upstate NY, was in visiting us, and in 15 minutes he figured out we had a bad breaker. A quick visit to Lowe's and a $50 breaker fixed the issue. My Father In law builds homes for a living, so he knows lots of things, but should not be able to embarrass a certified electrician on an electrical issue. I think I am due a refund (maybe they deserve 2 or $300) for showing up at all, but not fixing the issue and then running with my money is not fair. Fortunately, my business partner's son is a lawyer, so small claims court is in the future unless I am made satisfied. Now off to other review services to spread the word.

However, in…read moreApril 27th of this year (2025) I requested a new estimate for flowers to be added to the existing border and to add plants to an already existing bed by my daughter's house. Leo came out to look at the work areas and in a timely manner submitted his estimate, which I approved. After a few emails back & forth, I was told that the job would be added to the work schedule. That was on May 11th. I then contacted Leo's Landscaping on June 23rd to inquire as to when the work was going to be done. I was told by Joe that his was behind due to the rain but that he was caught up and said that in two weeks he would do the job. Well it's been now almost a month since this conversation and there has been no communication from Leo's Landscaping so sadly, I am writing this review. This is the reason for my one star rating due to unreliability and poor costumer service.

Original Review: Ryan, the technician, did a great job…read morereplacing my water heater on August 8, 2025. The one star is for being charged twice, once for $1156.56 at 1:15pm and then for $1099 at 2:13pm on August 8th for a water heater that was supposed to cost $1099, and for being gaslit by two people after calling twice to report the double-charge and sending a photo of a screenshot of my bank transactions clearly showing that I was charged twice. On August 8, 2025, at 10:35 am, a technician from Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing was dispatched to my home for a leaking water heater and suspicion of leaking pipes due to some water damage to ceiling tiles in my basement. I paid the dispatch fee of $59.00 from my checking account using my debit card on July 18, 2025. Thankfully, the water damage was old, so I only needed a replacement water heater. I agreed to have my water heater replaced for the price of $1099. The water heater was replaced, and Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing charged my debit card for $1156.56 at 1:15 pm, which was the time that the job was complete. I thought the total may have included the dispatch fee (I forgot I paid this in July) or tax, so I wasn't alarmed that the charge was $56.56 over the $1099 price I was quoted. Then, my card was charged again for $1099 at 2:13 pm for one gas water heater that was supposed to cost $1099. Because both are pending transactions, I was directed by my bank to contact the vendor. When I called, I was gaslit by two different people, who told me I must be mistaken because they don't have the capability to double-charge, blamed my bank, and suggested I dispute the transaction as my only recourse. I called Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing at 2:36 pm, as soon as I saw that I was charged $1099 as a second charge, and spoke to Madison, explaining that I had been charged twice for the water. Madison proceeded to gaslight me, stating that the company can't double-charge and requested I email a picture of my pending transactions. I emailed a picture of my pending transactions, as requested (see photo). Hailey, who answered the second time I called, confirmed that she received and could view the picture, but still proceeded to tell me that Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing cannot double-charge me. She then blamed my bank and told me I could dispute the transaction. I informed Hailey that the transaction information was identical for both charges. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will update my review if the BBB complaint is addressed by Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing. Update 8.15.2025: Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing addressed my BBB complaint and refunded the additional $1156.56 charge on August 13th. I am thankful that they addressed this mistake promptly.

We previously used GPP for a simple sink repair. This time, we used them for two toilet…read moreinstallations and a bidet attachment install. The techs were very nice, especially the younger apprentice who came and made our dog much more reassured, as he sometimes gets nervous and barks incessantly when strangers are in our home. What we didn't like was the fact that we were automatically entered into their $97/year "savings" program. When we questioned why our receipt didn't reflect the alleged discount, we were told that firstly, our tech entered us into the savings program to save $300. We asked why the total didn't reflect that and were told that the discount was taken out on the receipt, yet they don't show you what it is. If that is true, two toilet installs, a valve replacement and bidet attachment install was nearly $2,000. It also took 5 days to receive the said receipt. Overall, we'll be looking for another, more affordable plumber.

Okot sent someone within a few hours, Jake did the assessment and a crew came early the next morning and replaced everything, updated our VERY old service and everything was set to go. Redcat power came to connect our service and as usual, things didn't go as smoothly as it should have. One man approved what was done, the other, due to a denial to him on our part, told me the boom bucket wouldn't reach, it needed moved, even though it would have reached because once it was changed, the bucket reached approximately 8' to the connection, and "miraculously" was able to reach 12' to the pole connection. The owner of Okot was so understanding he had his crew come the following morning and move the connection, Redcat came and "was able to reach" the now 6' span, and still reach the 12' stretch to the pole. Okot did a fantastic job, I highly recommend them.
