Bug out is a good comany to deal with when it comes to any Pest. I had small fruit flies and concrete ants and Mike solved that issue. Mike is super nice, I did think prices were a little high but he did put in the contract that a retreat would be free of charge and so in late October, he did come back out and re treat. We did have 70's temperature in early to mid October 2021. I have some bad news, his Sister Cindy called me 1-21-22 to say Mike had passed away and asked to use Cort Pest his parent company as a back up. Mike, you will be missed by MANY! We were going buggy! Thanks to Mike, we are pest free! He called me back right away and scheduled an appointment. He showed up with a mask on which was super appreciated. We discussed our pest issues and he got to work. He was here for about 30 - 45 mins. His prices are very reasonable ($190 for our treatment) and he does a thorough job. We had inside house treatment for spiders, creepy crawlies, and mice (that are sure to arrive at the weather turns cooler next month) and we had exterior carpenter bees and carpenter ants treatments on our cedar house and on several backyard trees. These five stars are totally reflective of my experience. Everything you'd want in a bug removal service (I never thought I'd type a sentence like that). Mike the owner was quick to call me back and make an appointment the next day. I noticed we had carpenter bees in the roof above our back porch. With two young kids it was going to be impossible for us to take care of it ourselves. You know, I think other than the fact that he was super friendly and efficient, I liked that he was upfront with the cost. I explained what I needed and he quoted me right away. And that's the exact price it was in the end. He showed up promptly and took care of spraying the back porch in about ten minutes flat. He moved all our furniture aside and explained the process of what he would be doing and to just not be around it for a couple hours. He also is coming back to fill the holes that the carpenter bees. I got the impression he doesn't normally do that (he kinda said so much) but I think he's just a nice guy and is going to do it for us. So he goes above and beyond. Glad to have him around if we have any other bug issues. He said this may be a yearly occurrence with the bees, so we'll definitely be calling him if they come back. read more

I cannot say enough good things!! I would give 10 stars if I could. I requested a quote through Yelp, received a response in LITERALLY TWO MINUTES!! Thinking it was an automated response, I called the number and was very pleasantly surprised that Mike already knew it was me and the problem I was dealing with. So I didn't even have to repeat myself! Mike offered to check out my rodent problem that same evening, but I opted for the next day. He told me he would come in the afternoon but would call when he was 30 minutes away and he did just that! It has been a very long time since I've been 100% pleased with any customer service, which is extremely difficult to find these days. However, not only did Mike do an excellent job getting rid of the spiders in my home, his reliability is 100% and almost non-existent these days. Mike was my savior! After having a carpenter ant problem in my kitchen for about 3 weeks I reached out to a couple exterminator companies to get quotes. Mike answered me immediately (literally within minutes) AND had the best quote. He was able to come the next day to check out my situation. Amazing and very prompt service! We've had a wasp and bee issue for years and they showed up in droves this week. They were all over our outside deck, roof and gutters. I'll echo all the other positive reviews. Recently contacted Bug Out America for a carpenter ant problem that my parents were having in their house. After leaving a message with the receptionist in the morning, Mike called me back a bit later and was able to come out later that morning! It was very much appreciated as the ant problem reached its peak. Mike was friendly and informative about the pest problem, answering questions and explaining the likely scenario that was happening in the house with these ants. He sprayed the outside of the house and after 2 days there's been a huge difference in the number of ants that we see. Mike said to give it at least 30 days and if we noticed continued ant activity to give him a call. What I liked about Bug Out America is the reasonable prices, prompt service, knowledgeable owner and the fact that Mike wasn't pushy about up-selling me on more services like the other big-name chains. I called the other big-name chains for cost estimates and didn't like the fact that they charge $300+ for the initial service and you had to purchase at least 3 or more treatments for $100+! Plus the big name chains would spray inside and out and with small children that didn't make me feel totally comfortable. Mike was upfront about the cost and that he'd only need to come out and treat the area outside once (which would also solve the inside problem) and if the problem continued we could give him a call for another treatment.
