I introduce myself with a kind greeting at my door and this individual young kid just looked back at me coldly without a reply. I asked him if he'd care for a bottle of water or iced tea since it was so torridly hot and humid out. I was answered with a low mumble as what I gathered was a no. Fridays told me that they could treat my infestation. As time went by not I noticed week after week the problem not being remedied at all. They had told me that this would get rid of the hindrance of spiders as well, it simply did not as well. I called Fridays up to get the same individual, Im thinking that they are a very low staffed organization if not a one man show. I asked courteously if I would be able to have a refund or possibly part of my monies even. The individual who does not care to introduce himself when he is at your door or on the phone most unprofessionally and grouchy each time had told me a direct harsh denial in this request. He lectured me on the phone putting down how I believe I am entitled and I play the Wounded Warrior card ( I am a 100% disabled veteran as per the V.A. ...a D.A.V. and a Wounded Warrior.) This is something I am most proud of and I truly believed that Fridays would be as well. He told me this and made it seem like I am some sort of conman phony that merely uses my disability to get discounts which they never cared to give me at all. Instead of charging me hundreds of dollars to rid my studio apartment and knowing that they could not rid my place of spiders or centipedes with the phony spray they brought out. They should have been honest with me and let me know that they do not typically have much success with pests of this type. He was so rude and mean to me on the phone that I was shaking. I'll tell ya its a sad day in our beloved America when a man as myself is spit on in the way that Fridays had went out of their way to not only rip me off of hundreds of dollars but to put down my life of service to my America in two branches and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and helped in Humanitarian missions awarded for caring for Haitians and for peoples affected by the Great Tsunami Disaster. There was an a lot nicer way of denying me a refund or any sort of kindness or cooperation as well besides putting me down for who I am and my service to America. My suggestion is steer clear of these con job character individuals without a personality or professionalism of any sort.

Already had the bat trapped under the recycle bin, was told on the phone to just slide something under and throw it out, which was impossible since the bat was in my cat's water tower. I asked if they can send someone, but was told it's going to take 3+ hours and it'll be $400, ridiculous. I then proceed to contact Allegheny Health Department, who told me to NEVER EVER THROW A BAT OUT if found in the house, they (AHD) then came to pickup the bat and sent it for rabies lab testing within an hour, FREE OF CHARGE. Then got a call from Allegheny Health Department 2 days later telling me that the bat was tested positive for rabies and I had to take the series of rabies vaccines. Lesson learned, Steel City Pest Control & Wildlife Removal seems to have no idea what NOT TO DO with bats, gives out bad recommendations, and charge an exorbitant amount of money just to "throw the bat out". Makes me wonder if I would've cause other people sick if I just did what they told me or got them to come and throw it out. Will obviously never contact them or use their service.

No other pest control companies took my complaints or hunches seriously and would just throw traps at the problem even when we would have reoccurring issues in the same areas. Their team checked over the entire house and came up with a plan of action that from beginning to end took about four months to complete/verify all the fixes were working. So happy, and definitely worth the wait in the end.

When I noted a missed visit , owner was very quick to acknowledge the miss on their end and immediately set up and completed a return visit within 2 business days. That is great customer service. Charge very reasonable fees for assessments, visits and service items needed to address problem and its ongoing management. We had windows being installed in a week and a half from when we discovered the hive in the wall. I reached out to A2Z at 8:00 am and immediately got ahold of Sheri who was so knowledgeable, kind and reassuring! I explained the situation and sent her the video we had taken. When Scott knocked on the door, he informed me that my problem was a squirrel, and showed me where the critter was getting in. When he arrived he had noticed a squirrel using the Comcast cable as a bridge between a front yard tree and the house and following the cable, found the critter entry hole before knocking on my door. Since A2Z does not deal with squirrels, he recommended that I call a trapper to address the squirrel problem and seal the access hole. Despite having driven several miles to my home, Scott did not charge me anything for his service call. His fairness and honesty is very much appreciated, and guarantees that A2Z will be my pest control service for any future pest control needs. Thanks Scott!
