Looking around the area for a decent place to get my car smogged and came across this gem. It all started with a phone call and this place is definitely 5 stars. Prompt service, best pricing ($37), and no wait. It was a pleasant surprise to have great customer service from a mechanic down here. He greeted us with a handshake and handed my boyfriend and I some waters and insisted we sit down while he does his work. We waited about like 5-10 min. 10/10, would recommend taking your car to pass smog here. read more

The Smogfather of Anaheim. Stop searching and just go. Super clean, affordable, and great service.

Been coming to Sang's for about 5 years now. Started with taking my fleet vehicles for work and then mine and my mom's vehicles. Always friendly and always professional, I have never had a negative experience there. Even with the Covid issues going on today, his friendliness is still apparent. You are in and out as fast as possible & he will sanitize anywhere on your vehicle he has touched without being asked, to ensure your personal safety in this time of seriousness with a really large side of public hysteria. He can get busy, so it might be a good idea to try and call ahead if you are in a rush. (NOTE: For those with 1998 and earlier models, as of March 26, 2020, their equipment for older vehicles is Temporarily DOWN. He is hoping to have it back up and running by Monday, March 30th, 2020. Make sure if you have an early model vehicle (pre-1999) requiring that equipment, you call ahead if within this time frame...just in case. It might save you a drive). read more

Highly highly highly recommend Mr. Sang. I got an incomplete registration noti after paying online. So I researched to go get a smog check and glad I found Sang smog. I called at 8:10 to check for prices and requirements and they said to just come in and started on my inspection 15ims before they opened (lives like 2 mins away). I also had to work so he directed me to the waiting room and helped find an outlet to work remotely. He even offered me a cold water bottle. Man It definitely warms my heart to see great people with quality service on a Monday morning! Look no further, go to SANGS SMOG!!! read more

I don't know how I haven't posted a review yet! I've been coming here for years for my smog checks and I won't go anywhere else! Sang's Smog is the best! It's always quick and always great customer service! Thank you! I'll be back in 2 years (or whenever my smog check is required again)! read more

Was the third person in line, Lee got me out in about 25 minutes. Offered me a water while I waited and was very amicable. I ended up paying 45 dollars total, which was 37.75 for the smog and the 8.25 for the 45 for my Mazda. We talked while he worked and he made some suggestions as to what I could change. He does take visa and MasterCard as well as cash. If you fail you pay the initial 37.75 and then have a certain amount of days to fix and come to the retest, without having to pay the smog charge again. You just pay the 8.25 for the certificate. The area where you wait is a little couch and a couple of chairs but he gets you in and out where it doesn't even matter and he always offered the people water. Great place will be back read more

Two thumbs up. Fast, friendly, reliable, and cost effective. Would definitely recommend. I called to see if an appointment was needed, which was not. It took me longer to drive there than the testing took. Yes, he does offer you an ice cold water, which was very refreshing on the hot summer day. read more

This is why Yelp is great. I typed smog check, saw reviews- came and wow! Reviews were right! Fast and great! I even got a free water bottle as I waited (hey I'm easily amused) Also I tried to buy something extra and he explained I didn't need it (now THATS honest) read more

Sang is a nice guy but he isn't as knowledgeable as his 5 star score implies. Went to him for a smog check and my car didn't pass. I was told I needed to drive 60-70 miles more because my drive cycle wasn't ready. I did and came back for a second test. Honoring his word, it was free but it came back with the same result. He said it was possible there might be something wrong and to visit a smog repair shop since he only does inspections. The repair ship I visited today told me the 60-70 mile suggestion was for cars made before a certain year and I drive a car newer than that. They said 200 miles would be needed. I understand small mistakes happen but you would think someone with a 5 star average would know the difference and not waste his customers' time. read more

Great service. A+++ It only took less than 15 minutes. $45 for smog check, certificate included. I Definitely recommend others to come here, you won't regret it. read more

This was my first time going and Sang made me feel very comfortable. He is a fast worker and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes.

Excellent experience! Served right away, ushered to a waiting area and offered an ice cold bottled water while the technician worked. Small operation--just one worker that I saw, and one small garage bay. But very efficient! In & out in 15 minutes, paid $45. Hallelujah for fast, affordable car service! Sang's Smog is a true gem. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Reasonably priced. Friendly. Efficient. Gives a cold bottle of water while you wait. It's as painless as a smog check gets.

Definitely the best smog service you will find in Orange County, no doubt. Sang is extremely friendly, while I waited for another car to finish up he offered me and the other person there a cold bottle of water and a seat following social distancing protocols. Very friendly, fast, efficient, best service by far, have been coming here for 2 years and will be staying here as long as Sang is here. I needed a smog check and after reading so many excellent reviews of Sang's Smog I decided to give him a try and I'm very glad I did. I called 3 other places but the owner here was so personable and friendly over the phone I thought I would give him my business. His pricing is very competitive and he is very efficient. I was fortunate in my timing that there was no other person when I arrived. He took me right away and I was out of there within 15 minutes. He knows exactly what to do and explained everything I needed to do with the DMV after the completion of my test. From now on whenever I need a car tested I will return to Sang's Smog. read more

Great place to get a smog check done. Quick and easy. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

I had to get a smog check done and I'm 6 months pregnant so I am naturally nervous with Covid 19. The service was excellent and he took extra steps to make sure everything was clean and sanitized after he finished. I was really impressed with how professional and caring he was but going the extra mile to make sure everything I touched was clean . I definitely will be going back . Thank you very much for the clean , and sanitized service . Really made me feel at ease and safe. read more
