I highly recommend Sang's Smog. Service was friendly and very fast. I came in around 1:40pm on a Thursday and was in and out of there in what felt like less than 10 minutes. I was offered a water bottle the moment I walked in even though my car was the only one in the shop and I didn't have to wait. The gentleman that helped me was very nice, efficient, and also informative. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

I looked for a smog place on Google maps and this place is close to my house. I called to ask how much they charge and they told me it would be $50 for my 2016 Camry. I headed over to the shop and there was one car ahead of me. The young man, I believe he's the son of the owner, greeted me and let me know I would be next. He then let me know that I could wait inside so I went and sat down. The father then brought me a cold water. The shop is clean and they have the doors open so it was fresh. The son then explained to me the breakdown of the fees, and how it works if it failed. The actual test took a few minutes and I was out the door. I paid with my debit card and they didn't add additional charges like some places do when using debit/credit. I will be returning and will recommend my family to go here. read more

I went to get smog check and i was helped by son of owner andrew lee and he was very helpful, friendly and professional. The price was very reasonable and the service extremely quick. My son told me to come here saying it has been in business for decades and that they can be trusted to give you a fair price and get the job done. Will come again next time read more

I received my registration renewal and had a notice to get a smog done again! My usual spot either moved or closed (I'm not sure, but could not find a current address). I found Sang with positive reviews so I called to find out if he could do my car. My car usually passes so I just need a pass check place. I brought my car to Sang the next day and he took my car and checked it right away. After 15 minutes he said I passed and I paid and went. Quick, easy and fast. I'll be back in 2 yrs when I need another check. read more

I went today at 8 am and I was attended with so much kindness. Gave me a bottle of water without me asking and told me to have a seat. He got my information and started to work on my car. In total it was $50 and I was out. Very efficient and quick place. Client forever now. Will definitely tell all my family and friends to come here now since our old smog check place is no longer available. Very sweet man! read more

It was so quick and so cheap!! I paid $60 total for my 1997 suv and it took less than 15 minutes. Ran over to the bakery next door and by the time I was out, it was done. Really nice guys and they have a sitting area while you wait. Definitely coming back here in the future. read more

Super excellent service! Was also a great deal, and was a quick and easy process. They also offered me a water as it was super hot. Great experience would recommend and would definitely go back! read more

Like the previous reviews before me, I would recommend this shop to all my friends and family. The entire process took about 20-30 minutes at 10 in the morning. For my Mazda, I paid $45 in total that includes the certificate (he also send electronic copy to DMV). There is indoor seating/waiting area so you don't have to wait in the sun. Mr Sang was polite and made sure I was aware of what was going on, including the cost of the service. He is also bilingual in Korean and English. I would like to note that I passed by at least 3 smog services and I'm glad I came here read more

This has been my go-to place for a smog check for the past few times I had to do so. Even after I had moved a bit further away from the city, I still choose to go here! Very quick and efficient smog check service. We've been coming here for four years. No need for an appointment.

I highly recommend Sang's Smog because of the great customer service, cleanliness of the premise and prompt service. Mr. Sang Lee was courteous on the phone, when I called to ask if he takes walk-ins and to ask about how busy things were at the moment (I didn't want to wait around especially not knowing how social distancing situation was on site). When I arrived, another customer was getting their smog checked but my wait wasn't too long. I chose to wait outside but inside the shop looked tidy and clean, so I think it would have been fine to wait in there, too. He was very prompt and thorough in getting the job done, and was friendly. Felt great to support local business especially when the owner seemed like a kind person! read more

Really nice guy! Fast service and reasonable price. He makes jokes too.

Sang is the sweetest! My aunt was looking for a place to get her car smog and I was actually recommend this place by my mom. It's super close to her house so I thought it would give it a try. Right when we got there, he greets you and explains what he'll be doing. He invited you to his "waiting area" (so cute lol) and offers you something to drink. He inspects your car and BEFORE doing the tests, he comes back and tells you the prices. Once you fill out paper work, he performs the testing and that's it! You pay (he accepts Mastercard & VISA), and your on your way. I would definitely recommend him. Thank you Sang! read more

Sang's Smog - Prices! Just FYI: L/D Truck stands for Light Duty Truck. I asked for a 2015 Lexus NX200t and he said it's considered a Light Duty. - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Anaheim, California

Wonderful experience here after just leaving another smog check place that took one look at my 2019 eco-diesel and tries to over charge me. Lee was so nice and gave me a bottle of water while I waited. Luckily enough to catch him between cars with no appointment and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Please continue to support this business as they really do know how to treat their customers. Thank you! read more

Needed a smog check to renew my registration so I came to Sang Smog. Another car was just getting finished as I drove in so I did not have to wait long to get my smog check. The waiting area in the back was spacious with lots of airflow. Checks were complete and Sang made sure to wipe all the surfaces he touched (I initially brought my own wipes assuming I would have to do a full wipe down but they were not needed). Got in and out quick. I felt safe amidst all the covid fears. Mr Sang was very professional and pricing was excellent. Definitely recommend. read more

Told me there were two cars in front of me, 30 min wait which I didn't mind. Eventually those two cars were done and let four more cars in front of me which wasted an hour of my time so I just asked for my keys and left. read more

Beware of this smog check shop. Tech Sang is a crook. He failed my car due to my catalytic converter (CAT), which was replaced 5 years ago and was in perfect working condition and, his computer diagnostic emissions test said pass. He falsely said the catalytic was not compatible to my car although I demonstrated to him that Quality Smog Check out of Mission Viejo (Smog # TC 302036) had passed the car 2 years ago and the EO ( # D-193-114) on the CAT certified the CAT was legal with the State of California Catalytic Converter database and compatible for the car . He tried to refer me to another shop to get the CAT replaced, which is illegal. It's unlawful for a test only shop to provide referrals to clients, knowingly the part and/or car is in perfect working order, proof this is a total scam. I was forced to drive to Quality Smog Check at Mission Viejo to get another test. The shop did a thorough check of the car and thoroughly inspected the CAT and passed the car. In short, be very careful with this shop. Tech Sang tried to scam me. read more

Very friendly, when you drop off your car he gets on it right away..you can tell he cares about your time & his customers not like other smog shops. Would highly recommend. read more

I've been going to Mr. Sang for some time now as I used to live down the street. He's always been kind and personable, this visit was no different. The catalytic converter was recently stolen from my Honda Accord so needing to get it replaced and approved was an inconvenience. That was not Mr. Sang's fault though, he was a pleasure to work with as always. read more

Very pleasant experience. Owner does the smog check himself and is efficient and explains everything. Three cars were ahead of us which he let us know. Parking is easy and when ready, owner walked to our car and took over, pulled it into bay area. Handed us cold bottled water. Places to sit if you want, but car was ready so quick. Price seemed fair and is close to home. We will be back when other car needs a smog check. Highly recommend. read more
