I got here and the friendly man simply told me the price, asked for my keys and I was out of there within 20 minutes. I paid $60 which seems very reasonable. arrived yesterday (5/27/25) with no appointment. Wait was short and there's a cute cat-themed coffee shop next door called Thank You Coffee which was nice. Wright Way got my car checked and certified quickly and sent the info to the DMV. He said, just pay your registration to the DMV and that's it. (so I sent my registration in same day!) Quick service. Literally in and out if you catch it at the right time. The most cars I've seen here is two. Even then, the guy was fast. I went here Saturday, closest location to me. Reviews said they do not open on time at 8am like advertised on Google. I drove over around 8:45am and the place was indeed NOT OPEN. The signs hours for Saturday say 8am but they posted a sign on the door that they will open late today. No specific time I wasted my time driving there and will never go here again. read more

Been coming to this test station since 2008 for our two cars. Have been pleased with the service and timeliness of the inspection process. August is ALWAYS hot but their waiting room is well cooled so I've been comfortable while they do the testing process. Dash cam elapsed time for the test process came in at 15 minutes from the time Son pulled the car onto the rollers till he moved it to the completed spot. Camera up time while there was 23 minutes. Wright Way has been great and Son has been the technician when I've been in. I relay this shop to friends in the area that need a reputable shop for their smog testing. Since coming to Wright Way in 2008, tests are simple and uneventful. :) Fill out the paper work, he tests, "you've passed", pay and go! Don't go to the gas stations that also service cars. These places find parts to sell like the gas cap and threaten that if you don't buy them your car will fail. (I suspect some rig their machine to fail caps so that they can pad the bill for extra $$.) I had two incidents at different shops that they say the cap was bad and would fail me. I could buy one there for $25 and be on my way. They showed me the test and yes it did fail. OTOH they didn't return that old cap so that I could have it tested at another station to verify. I was young, dumb and trustful, not anymore due to those past scam stations. read more

I dread running unnecessary errands, and you can bet I dread smog checks for the DMV, but Wright Way Smog provides a very convenient service. They are STAR approved, and I highly recommend them! I stopped by around noon, thinking I'd need to wait in line. But to my delight, Wright Way Smog has two garages, so I was able to drive right up for service. Derek ran his series of tests while I waited in their separate waiting room. And he was finished in ten minutes! I will definitely bring them all of my future cars. Always come to this location, however, they never seem to open on time. Have five cars that require different monthly DMV renewal requirements throughout the year. I'm sorry but the Asian man that does the smog test is rude and socially inept! He's always grouchy and has no customer service skills whatsoever! I got my first smog check there because it's closest to my house. I came today and he was sitting in the garage eating and didn't acknowledge the other customer or me! He saw us and said nothing! I got in my car and drove off! If you're at lunch then say so! Don't keep customers standing there! If you want my business then acknowledge me as a human being and greet me! Geez!!! I have been using this smog station for quite some time now. I own 7 vehicles, so you can only imagine how often I need a smog. Son is the name of the smog technician that I deal with most often. Every time I go, they are very knowledgable and courteous. The few times i did'nt pass, I still left there with a good feeling that they are looking out for my best interests. Not to mention that the price is very reasonable. I've been to many other smog stations and none of them compare no matter what the price.
