Worst Clinic i ever went to. I got my mri done and this doctor or someone doesnt even explain what my results are. he just comes in and looks at me and says where does it hurt and just prescribes pain medication with out any explanation. This clinic is just trying to rip money off insurance. Very unfriendly as well. I noticed OTHERS also had the same reason about the MRI. Hes no doctor hes a fraud. read more

This clinic needs to find a new office manager. I got a hold of them only twice, but the male office manager insisted that I called countless times in korean (which i never did) with a number totally different from mine and rudely refused my appointment. I told him well I want to make an appointment with the doctor and not him and he uses his office manager position to play gatekeeper on who gets to get an appointment or not. (Please read below for more details. ) I explained to him that the first time I got in contact with their office a lady in the front desk kindly answered my questions, but i forgot to make an appointment. That is why I called back a second time to make an appointment. Then he rudely accuses me and says I called many more times and was talking to them in korean. I told him I didn't speak korean at all to them and my first language is english. (Yes, Im a korean american, but my korean is horrible . Therefore, there is no reason for me to talk to them in korean.) So I asked him what the phone number was on the call log and to check if it's the same number I am calling with. And he answered me with a number that is totally different from mine, but still insisted that it was me. I didn't want to waste anymore time, so I asked for an appointment. Then, he refuses to accept my appointment. I told him, I wanted to make an appointment with the doctor and not him. But he said, "well I'm the office manager, and you should book an appointment elsewhere. " The role of clinics is to help treat patients, but the office manager decided that I did not need to see the doctor for medical care. Horrible management. read more

Dr Park has been my orthopedic doctor for the last 8 years. My home is one and half hours from his office and I don't care about the distances because he is an excellent doctor. I would drive to the end of the world if I have too. He makes you feel at ease. Gives you the trust and confidence to a patient needs for a specific surgery. His office staff is incredible as well. This review is for the office, not the Dr. The staff refused to call my insurance to give me an estimate of out-of-pocket cost. I would only get billed (an unknown amount) after the treatment. All other medical offices I visited has the ability to give patients this information but not Dr. Park. Why? I decided to go with another dr. since I didn't want to get blindsided by an unknown bill amount. Also, when asked if the office administers Monovisc injections or PRP therapy, the staff answered he didn't know about Monovisc but they have done PRP in the past. The worst bedside manor for a Orthopedic Doctor and his office staff. First off, it took almost a month to get an appointment for a shoulder injury. I had my MRI scan photo ready for the Dr to review. He said to me that the MRI could not tell him how extensive the injury was. WHAT? Then why did I have the MRI? He moved my arm around in a fast motion cause me excruciating pain. He then gave me a cortisone shot and said, should take effect right away... see you in two weeks. With no relief I call them back 5 days later to let them know I was still in major pain. Was told... nothing we can do, see you next week. Came in for my follow up appointment hoping for some answers for my pain. NOPE! Dr walked into the room and asked how I was feeling? I started to cry and told him, I'm in so much pain please give me some hope on where we go from here? NOPE! More fast jerking motions with my arm which almost sent me though the roof and then said, I'm going to request some physical therapy and I'll see you in two weeks. I Walked out, called my primary physician and asked for a different Orthopedic Doctor. read more

Dr. Park did my surgery for a torn quadricep tendon. He did a great job with my surgery, after care, and giving me the things I need to do for my physical therapy. Dr. SangDo Park has very poor bedside manners and super negative. Seems like he has a God complex and rushes us out the door barely spending a few minutes of time and him getting irritated by questions we asked. Also, the building and office looks pretty run down and ghetto. Thank goodness for Yelp so that others can share experiences for prospective patients to check before making choices. read more

I recently went to go see Dr. Park because my grandfather needed a consultation appointment discussing his surgery performed in Mexico. My grandfather only speaks Spanish & Dr. Park was able to communicate with him through small talk such as "how are you? How do you feel" etc. Dr. Park was very professional and empathic towards my grandfather. Dr. Park was patient as my mother & I had to translate to my grandfather our discussion. This doctor is so unprofessional and not worth the cost. I paid $140 for ONE MINUTE with him. I came to see him because my wrist has been hurting. He did not give me any professional explanation as to what is wrong or what to do. All he asked was "do you want to get a MRI?" Um... Hello?!? You're the doctor!!! You need to tell me whether or not I need an MRI or what to do to fix my wrist. I basically paid money to have him ask me what I want to do!! If I knew what I need to do, then I wouldn't have come to you for help in the first place. I am paying for you to help me fix my wrist or at least diagnose my problem! Definitely not worth the money! Been having knee pain and was recommended to him by a friend. It's hard to find a doctor you can trust and he is one of those rare gems. He was very knowledgeable and took his time explaining what I needed. Definitely professional, courteous and thorough. All the qualities I look for in a physician. Dr. Park is fantastic! He's very thorough, and always makes time to listen to me. He has a great bedside manner, and he truly cares about his patients. Besides being a fantastic Orthopedic surgeon, I like the fact that he really understands athletes and their "drive and determination" in getting back to preforming their particular sport. Dr. Park is Seriously Accommodating - I had some questions regarding alternative options, and he could've just as easily sent me a terse email, but instead he made room in his busy schedule, to explain things face to face (really now...who does that?) I'm overdue on my first review of Dr. Park. I say "first" as, sadly, I've had another injury, but since I'm still recovering from this new one, I'll write a review about this current recovery later. I had instability in my knee where it felt like it was constantly "popping out", 13 times to be exact. I saw Dr. Raj in Beverly Hills, had an MRI done and he later performed a knee operation to "align" the kneecap. I came out of the operation and tripped while hiking on a flat part of the trail. I went back to Dr. Raj and did another MRI. He said there was no damage, fortunately. Then he gave me a steroid injection on the knee, which did nothing, and told me to continue physical therapy. After more physical therapy, it still felt just as unstable as before the surgery. I went to get a second opinion from Dr. Park. I brought the images from the radiology centers and after a quick glance at the images and the reports, he told me I had a chronic tear in my ACL. This was shocking to me so I did some research and discovered that the first radiologist misdiagnosed my MRI image and didn't include that there was an ACL tear in the written report (even though you could see it in the image) AND Dr. Raj didn't catch the ACL tear either! Surgeons should be reviewing the images themselves! To make things worse, Dr. Raj ended up performing an unnecessary operation on my knee. On top of all that, he still didn't notice or mention the ACL tear after the second MRI I did after the surgery/fall, even though it was clearly in the images AND in that second radiology report. So Dr. Park repaired my ACL. I was in crutches and back on my feet in no time. I healed well and was pretty much back to 100%, running around and shooting around on the basketball courts. So things were all well, fine and dandy until recently, where I fell and broke my tibia, radial head and olecranon. Basically, my knee and elbow... Looks like I've reached VIP status with Dr. Park now. :P Dr. Park's office is no frills. It's small, set up efficiently and payments are only taken in cash, check or some sort of cash equivalent. It's not as nicely decorated, large or as accommodating as Dr. Raj's office in Beverly Hills. However, don't judge a book by its cover. Dr. Park is an ivy league grad, has worked on professional athletes, and is practically a bone miracle performer. My advice to you, the reader, is avoid Hollywood docs (Dr. Raj was always on TV) at all cost, or at least Dr. Raj. read more

With a comfortable demeanor combined with an outstanding knowledge in his field, Dr. Park surpasses all other orthopedic surgeons regardless of reputation. His diagnostic ability to define a problem is coupled with his precise surgical skill needed to successfully resolve the issue. I would highly recommend dr. Dr Park was very kind and nice. When my son had a broken arm, it was an emergency. He would not mind helping up even though we did not have an appointment. His diagnose was correct and prediction was correct as well. Thanks to him, my son is now healthy and off the cast. When my son was having a hard time bearing with his pain after he broke his humorous, another doctor was not able to identify his fracture because it was very tiny he was able to detect it. I would not think twice to go see Dr Park if my family have same problems. I would recommend him to all my friends and families. The best orthopedic surgeon you could ask for (beyond even his creds, like the premier sports medicine fellowship with professional athletes). The best doctor I have ever had. He really takes time to listen to patients, encourages them to ask questions, addresses their concerns, and is sensitive to your discomfort, context, and goals--I don't remember ever having a doctor who was so respectful, accommodating, and skilled. His staff is pretty great, too. I had horrible experiences with a breadth and depth of medical professionals in the course of a debilitating, livelihood-jeopardizing injury, and he restored my faith in the field. read more

Dr. Park is my go to doctor for any and all of my ortho needs. He helped me through a very traumatic knee injury years back and guided me through the arduous rehab process. His attention to detail and extensive knowledge played a major role in me being able to go back to work as a self defense instructor. He is an ivy league doctor with many years of high level experience and you just don't come across that level of competency easily. While Dr. Park has since moved his practice to California (I'm in texas), I would fly there to see him if I ever needed ortho care again. read more

Dr. Park was really professional with me. I thought his approach to my situation (operating on a previous operation on my ACL) gave me a sense of security. Although, I wasn't thrilled that I had to have a revision, he gave me clear cut options. After taking the initial decision for an operation, I thought Dr. Park, as a doctor and as a staff took care of my situation by accommodating to my needs quickly and efficiently. My operation appointment was far less than I expected, 3 months, as opposed to 6 months with my previous doctor and for every office appointment I had, I only waited 5 minutes almost every time, as opposed to 45 min to an hour with my previous doctor. In addition, I had a family emergency within those 3 months and I had to move the operation date. Yet, Dr. Park's office were very understanding and treated it with priority and gave me a few option dates! The outcome was fantastic!
