My family and I have been seeing Dr. Kim for years. He is very knowledgeable in both Eastern and Western studies in medicine. Aside from his studies in the Chiropractic field, he has also spent many years studying massage therapy, acupressure therapy, and certain aspects of Eastern medicine among other studies.
His bare hands are powerful enough to kill a coked up, steroids-juiced grizzly bear that's had one too many hits of angel dust. To say he's very strong is an understatement; but putting all his bone-crushing strength aside, he is very mild-mannered, gentle, and he's also super responsive to your tolerance levels and personal concerns.
In my case, he does more massaging because my visits almost always deal with muscle tension/soreness, but he does apply a good amount of Chiropractic medicine to supplement and to help correct certain problems. I usually allow him to work at his full strength, so I feel great and my entire body is completely relaxed at the end of one session. But, some of my family members cannot bear all his strength at once, so it takes a couple to a few sessions for him to work out all their kinks.
At the end of each session, he'll suggest some rehabilitative exercises if he feels they are appropriate, and he is happy to answer any questions you have. He is always polite and extremely friendly... except to 'roided out, PCP-abusing, cokehead grizzly bears. read more
