She was also very conscious of my injuries. Had a little bit of nerves being my first adjustment but I felt comfortable here. I appreciated the holistic approach on muscles, body mechanics and daily behaviors and how they relate to your spine. While I did get the sought after cracks, it wasn't all about that. Having to chose my priority in the exact moment of need I went with the clinical massage. I live a very active lifestyle both in my personal and business life. The reason I came to visit Nicole Howell is because the massage I needed was not for zen and relaxation but correction and energy. Her knowledge, passion for health and interest in her client needs showed immediately in her greeting and opening conversation. My visit and reason for seeing Nicole was for hamstrings. When she worked her way up my body to give it some balance she found that my chest was tight and she helped massage and stretch it to offer balance. In the process, Joe taught me some valuable tricks for sitting, walking and exercising that I use every day. I tried icing my back, using a tens machine, going to physical therapy, and even acupuncture, but nothing really helped. So after a year, I finally agreed to go to Dr. Pete because nothing had helped and I was taking too much medication to help manage my pain and I was also scared of having to need surgery again. Well, BOY WAS I WRONG. After a couple of sessions, my back pain was completely gone and I felt amazing. I'm kicking myself for being so stubborn and suffering for a year and not going to see Dr. Pete sooner. First of all, Dr. Pete is amazing as soon as you walk into his door. I Called the owner, and he said oh yeah, we have been having trouble, just bring it with you. When I got there, I gave them the card while I completed an intake form. When they found out I was on Medicare, they wouldn't honor the promotion even if I paid cash for the treatment. They don't want you as a patient unless they can really bang your health insurance.
