I wanted a second pair updated so I brought the identical prescription and frames to Ocean Optical. They have a fashion forward selection of frames, and the optical assistants will definitely help you to select a frame and offer advice on what looks best. (They wear a variety of fashionable frames themselves, which I think is a good sign!) They are also good at explaining certain technical details about what frames work and don't work for certain types of prescriptions. Also, I had a small problem with a lens in the glasses, and they were very helpful with troubleshooting it and correcting it. Note: Ocean Optical doesn't take VSP insurance, but I think they will help you to meet your price-point.

Recently we needed a couple of paintings and pastels reframed (and we used museum glass this time). We are very happy with the results and the time Ylva dedicated to us, to help us find the right mats and frames. Ylva was also able to stabilize and restore an antique frame on one of them. We highly recommend Artemis for jobs that need quality in materials and workmanship. For lesser work, get a frame at Target.

Just got the shadow boxes and photo home and both look even better in situ.

I went in the morning to buy wax and the guy and girl working there helped me out right away- Then I went back after my beach session the same day and they immediately recognized me with friendly faces, which made me feel less embarrassed about going in the store for the second time. I went in because I hated my cheap wooden skimboard that I got somewhere else and asked for their recommendations for a better one. I couldn't have been any happier because both were extremely helpful and informative. I'm a beginner and the guy especially took his time to explain the differences between boards, which ones were best, tips on skim boarding in general, etc. I really appreciate that kind of chill and nice vibe because most people just try to sell to newbies rather than engage in conversation about a common interest! He ended up going in the back to get me a really nice fiber glass one that he actually was going buy for himself, but let me have it. Thanks!!! Both workers have been skim boarding for a long time and they know what they're talking about! The girl also gave me more tips and recommended beaches for all skill levels for skim boarding. 5 stars for actually caring about a beginner like me and encouraging me to know this sport better! They also repair boards and help install traction pads. Definitely going back for the track pads once I get better and also when I feel like trying out surfing! (They do rentals and lessons, yes)
