Per Ciara $129.00 for service call (to diagnostic) when I asked about is the company charge by hourly or flat rate. Ciara said it flat rate depend on the job. Appointment set for Friday 3/6/2026 @9:00am. The electrician Justin showed up at 8:00am. I was surprise but ok with it. When I asked again about the rate. Justin said $129.00 for 15' diagnostic and then $93.00 per 1/2 hour. I told him that not what I understand from Ciara. Since he said that it's what the company charge. Because he is already here. I decided to go with the company. Justin did a great job to remove the old fixtures and installed the new lights (which I provided the material) He quote me $583.30 (include some discount) +$129.00. Total $712.30. He did this for less than 1 hour and 30'. My complaint is that why did he charged me so much. Seems like a excessive charged for 2 installed light fixtures and less than 2 hours. No matter how you look either flat rate or hourly rate. It was too expenses. I would never use this company again. Dust and dirt was left in all of the areas where the ceiling vents were cleaned. Our dryer duct was completely crushed by the techs which causes a significant fire hazard. I know for a fact it wasn't crushed before they arrived because I specifically had sears come back and reinstall my dryer ducts after they installed it incorrectly the first go round. Initially they crushed it as well so I'm very particular about it. Also our ceiling vents were left half screwed in causing danger for myself and my family. I have a one year old baby. If one should fall it could of potentially hit him. Vent orientation was not taken into account leaving my husband to get the ladder out and reinstall them. We chose the Duct Guys because of their great reviews. Unfortunately we cannot add to their great legacy of reviews. My husband was left with a lot of rework and cleaning. I am glad my husband checked the service but disappointed he did so after he paid. Do yourself a favor and always double check the service before paying. We now have to also go buy a new dryer duct. I'm extremely disappointed after paying over $200 to have to spend additional money fixing areas left broken by Duct Guys techs.

Our technician was Austin and he was able to tune our furnace up and replace several parts that needed replacing. Austin was very helpful and explained to me the reason these parts needed replacing. He was educating me and I am very grateful for the time took to do so. Austin also gave us a big bonus. I had a blower fan motor replace a year ago by Carson Oil Co. For entire year I was having problems with heat blowing into our living spaces. Austin identified the problem quickly and informed me that the motor had been installed incorrectly and that it was running backwards!!!! His knowledge will save me a lot of money. Carson Oil Co. has not returned my calls regarding this mistake. Funny how that works after I spent $607 for the motor and $1700 this year on oil. A giant "thank you" to Deluxe and Austin. This is a small company and I was referred to them by my neighbor. I will use them again in the future.
