We have an alarm system and a pet and they are extremely careful and conscientious with both. My house is sparkling when they are finished and they communicate back to you things they notice. I recently moved to Philadelphia and was looking to get my first cleaning done that my home had…read moreever had (It is new construction, so its mostly just dusty if anything as I have no children or pets and my husband and I are rarely even home). The staff was extremely friendly and trustworthy however the reason for my low review is the cost. They charge a high hourly rate (I think it's around $115/hour) or something crazy like that, and then they will nickel and dime each minute after the first 60 minutes. I decided to give them a try due to the great reviews but I guess my expectations were too high. Let's just say I can clean my house just as well, and save myself $150, which is what I will be doing moving forward. When the staff called to learn about our recent experience, my husband shared his feedback, and it was not well received. Like I said, the staff is fine and nice/trustworthy, but in my opinion this is a rip off and if your house is pretty clean to begin with and you don't mind dusting/swiffering a little then save your $$$.

I stood at the door for about 10 minutes. I contacted the operating phone services, advised no one was outside. She stated she would contact the cleaning service and give me a call back. 20 minutes went by and no one never reached back out. I called back to see what was going on, I was told oh they are almost there at 10:50am. No one never showed up. When I contacted them again to ask if this was a legit company, I was told yes the cleaners are outside and you have a brown door. MY DOOR IS NOT BROWN. However, because we were going to be having lot of people spending the entire weekend at our place - for my best friend's bachelorette party - we decided to bite the bullet and hire someone to clean it!! I reached out to Gleam and Clean and they immediately responded with their quote. They also were available exactly when I preferred to have them. On the day of service, was only one person to clean my whole house (two story South Philly row home - 2 bed, 1.5 baths, finished basement) but boy did he take his time and do a VERY THOROUGH job!! It was spectacular! He used all of his own supplies and they were even pet friendly (since I have a cat)! This was also something they offered even without my asking. He was a very kind person and I'm so thankful for his work! Will definitely use again!!

I have become very disappointed in the service…read more We recently had a child and desperately needed recurring help around the house. I reached out to Michael after receiving his card. He stated that for recurring customers, they do a deep clean, which makes their standard cleans easy thereafter. We had just moved into a new home and it had just been deep cleaned by our landlord, but I agreed regardless. He charged $400 for the deep clean, and cleans thereafter were to be $140. I tried to get a set schedule (e.g Friday mornings bi-weekly, or Wednesdays, etc) but was never able to get him to agree to a set recurring schedule. After two cleanings, he stopped returning my texts and calls, and so the price I paid for the amount of cleanings is outrageously high. I would recommend using a service that has a better track record working with customers
