This company is fantastic. I called because I was moving into my new home on Monday and they came on Friday, with 2 days notice! The place was cleaned top to bottom and they pay, from what I can tell, a living wage!! I wish I could afford $45 an hour every week... read more

They were very mindful of not breaking things. They did an amazing job on the refrigerator/freezer and cabinets. My carpet and chair look brand new! After double checking everything I am satisfied with their cleaning and appreciate that they did fix the problem areas as soon as I mentioned it. They were very attentive the second time around so I do appreciate that and they made sure that I was happy with the service! I was a little disappointed that attention to detail wasn't more of a focus. There were several areas that were still dusty and not fully cleaned. I had to go around and double check everything was properly deep cleaned. I do understand that checking is part of the 100% guarantee, but I wish I didn't have to ask them to go back and re clean some areas For $600 worth of cleaning (including rug and chair)...I shouldn't have to follow people around after they are done to ensure everything was thoroughly cleaned. But overall a good experience. I would potentially use the In the future...it's just very expensive. My place does feel very clean though. read more

I had an absolutely awful experience with this company. Do not be fooled by the positive reviews. They advertise a "21-point cleaning checklist," yet many basic items--things that had been cleaned previously during a regular cleaning--were not touched at all. We paid for an extremely expensive deep cleaning, and the results were completely unacceptable. They sent four people to the house, yet upon inspection, large portions of the home were still dusty, dirty, and clearly ignored. Several surfaces were visibly covered in dust. This was not a deep clean by any definition. They removed trash from the cans but did not replace any trash bags, despite specifically asking us to provide them ahead of time. That alone shows a lack of attention to detail. Even more concerning, we completed their pre-cleaning form and explicitly requested extra care around the computers in our home. This request was completely ignored. The floors were over-mopped, causing water damage that short-circuited a computer, resulting in $150 out of pocket for a replacement part. After I raised these concerns, the company reached out and offered a partial refund, acknowledging there were issues. However, the refund was never issued, and they never followed up or contacted me again. This lack of accountability only added to an already frustrating experience. Between the missed areas, careless work, damage caused, and a refund that was promised but never delivered, their claims feel misleading at best and dishonest at worst. I am deeply disappointed and do not recommend this company to anyone, especially if you are considering a deep cleaning or have valuable items in your home. read more

I am quite disappointed with the deep cleaning I received today. It was pretty much a regular cleaning not a deep cleaning. There are still stains on my tables. My chairs are still covered in food from my kids. My banisters weren't wiped. There's still dust on my chair rail in some places. My basement wasn't fully mopped. The list goes on. And I know this happened because I have cameras that caught all this. When I asked about certain things being cleaned, I was sent a list of what deep cleans include, which was basically a few things more than a regular cleaning. Why pay $520 for a slightly upgraded regular cleaning? Had I known this beforehand I would have hired another company. The proposal says you can customize your clean but that's not the case because my request was ignored when I asked for my handrail and banister to be cleaned. In the past I received wonderful cleanings from your company. I can't afford to do deep cleanings but once a year so I choose to use you because the cleanings were superb. This time it feels like a waste of money. I will not be using your company again because this is the second time they have dropped the ball. Why charge more for less? I can't recommend your company anymore to my friends with this kind of service. I would rather pay another company by the hour and get the most for my dollar. EDIT 9/8/2025: They sent a crew on their next business day to come correct all the issues I mentioned. Customer service is amazing. I think if the cleaners are given more training they could avoid issues like this going forward. I am pleased with the second crew's work which included a manager. read more

I called this company desperately needing help with my mentally ill adult son's apartment. He may still be evicted because of the horrid condition he kept his apartment in when he was at his lowest, but DB Cleaning may possibly just have saved him. The condition was deplorable and needed a deep clean and then some. This crew was beyond awesome! It now looks as good as when my son moved in, before he hit rock bottom. He may still be evicted but it won't be because of the filth now. Above and beyond, and I'm so grateful!!! (Now to get him to keep it this clean!) Shoutout to Jam for making this happen, and to the crew: God bless you all for your amazing work! read more

Amazing. The crew did a very thorough cleaning, had great attention to detail, great customer service.

I was not feeling well and could do anything and we ha family, including a baby who can put any thing on the floor in his mouth before yon know it. They were very thorough helping to baby proof. They do a quick and nice job. And they are very pleasant. It was a good choice. Dereeh read more

Still with DB! I have the same cleaning team and they continue to exceed my expectations. Very satisfied. Original review from September 2020: I have been using DB for almost a year. They have never missed an appointment and have never needed to be called back for an insufficient cleaning. I am very satisfied with the service. It is easy to get in touch with the company to reschedule as needed.  The team are always briefed about particular rooms that should not be cleaned/entered. They also promptly reported when they accidentally broken a toilet seat at my home and replaced the item the same day, no hassle. Finally, one of the team members even texted me to say they saw a snake outside my house, even including a photo so we would be aware when we returned home. Really above and beyond service. I appreciate their trustworthiness , attention to detail, and how nice and clean my home looks after they visit! read more

I wish I had taken a before and after picture. DB did a fabulous job. My apartment has never been so clean. Everyone involved was great. They throughly cleaned the entire place, including windows, bathroom, floors. They were respectful, efficient and effective. While slightly pricey, their services are worth it. read more

I emailed and then left a voicemail but no one ever got back to me. Disappointing start.

It's rare that I write reviews and honestly DB doesn't need my 5 star because they already have amazing ratings but I feel so strongly about how amazing DB cleaning services are that I need to write. At first, I was a little hesitant with DB's prices as I had already been through the ringer with some horrible cleaning companies. I'm insanely over the top anal when I clean. So much to the point that it takes me hours to do one area, then ADD kicks in and I give up because it's just too much and the dirt and dog hair piles up. I honestly just wanted a cleaning service to do the same level of cleaning I do and take my stress away especially when working the crazy hours that I do. I tried multiple companies with "discounts" and they drug me in circles. Dealing with other cleaning services was a nightmare to say the least. Canceled appointments, major spots missed, rude employees, it goes on and on. Then came DB to the rescue. I was hesitant about the price at first but after the first cleaning everything was more than worth it! They cleaned EVERYTHING! The first deep cleaning left my house sparkling! I stuck with them for about 6 months and the service never declined. I also hired them for our move out clean and they did a phenomenal job! I am looking forward to hiring them for our new home. Trust me, your stress levels will decrease dramatically when you hire the RIGHT cleaning service. You get what you pay for and DB gives you the clean house you need! read more

Decio and his team were absolutely amazing. We just purchased our 'forever' home in Mount Airy moving from Fairmount and just really wanted a good deep cleaning before we finally moved in and couldn't be happier with the thorough-ness of him and his team. He came in with his crew who were efficient, respectful, and thoughful throughout their process and we're thankful that we found them. There are a lot of cleaning services that we came across when we were looking for someone to do a great move in cleaning and Alice from DB was really professional and courteous while providing us quotes and checking to ensure that we would be completely satisfied throughout the process. Thank you!! read more

Everything was great. I definitely plan on using them again. They did a deep clean of my 2 BR townhouse. 5 ppl arrives, furniture was moved, cabinets were cleaned, oven cleaned, etc. It was truly a job well done. I had not realized how neglectful I had become with cleaning, until they came and cleaned. I'll attach pictures next time. read more

DB Cleaning Services gave me my home back again! After 5 years using another cleaning service, I was dissatisfied. When a few sentimental items turned up missing, and nothing was done, I parted ways. That was in May. Over the summer, I was able to do all my own housework, but then came August and September -- and the new school year. I found DB Cleaning right here on Yelp! They earn every bit of their 5 star reviews. Their team of cleaners is just excellent. My home hasn't been this clean since I moved in -- I paid for a one-time, deep cleaning, and I am very satisfied. The only spot that they missed was vacuuming under the master bed. Everything else was spotless. One of the few times I felt a cleaning service did a better job that I could have. Highly recommended, and worth every penny! read more

We've been using DB cleaning services for a few months now. We found them through a neighbor who recommended them. The first cleaning is incredibly thorough and I was actually a little embarrassed at how dirty our house actually was. I thought we were clean people! But they go behind the fridge. Inside the cabinets. Between counters. The whole deal. After the first visit, it's about a 2 hour clean for our 2,200 square foot town house. They do pretty much everything including making the beds when we forget to in the morning. Oh and they're the best price around! read more

My mother's condo needed deep cleaning. She is elderly and can't clean the way she used to. I called DB Cleaning and their team came out and deep cleaned from top to bottom. I would recommend them for all of your home cleaning needs. Very friendly and accommodating! read more

I'm So incredibly happy with the deep cleaning my little apartment received from the four sweet girls that came out with cleaning supplies in hand. Unreal- what a rip off. Do not use this company. They will overcharge you for a "superficial" deep clean. We got a $686.25 bill to clean a 3 bedroom house!!! Outrageous! Consumer Beware: read the other one star reviews and be prepared to be overcharged for a subpar cleaning! Per the owners response we had a deep clean with them 3 months ago but somehow that still warrants a $686.25 charge- do not trust this company read more

Judging by the other lower reviews on here, they are likely to respond to this and say they offered to come back and re-clean my house. That is true. But if they were really about customer service, they would make it right even when a customer is not able to have them come back. As soon as I told them (nicely, honestly) that it wasn't going to be possible for me to have them back again, I got no response. The problem is, it shouldn't take 5 people 3.5 hours to clean 1,000 sq ft right the first time. I had to take my kids out of the house for them to clean (it's a small house and didn't want interference because they charge by the hour), and had a photographer coming the following day to take pictures for a real estate listing. For $540 (yup, a royal rip off for 1000 sq ft), they should be able to get it right the first time! I just thought the attention to detail was inconsistent. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. They washed the floors well on my first floor, but did not wash the floors upstairs. They dusted inconsistently (some places I had to go over again) and did not dust anything where they had to reach overhead. The deep clean proposal they gave me said they would clean my light fixtures, but they didn't touch them. They left my house with a very overwhelming chemical smell. read more

Hired DB Cleaning for a move-in clean to my new place. Just a side-note: i can't speak on "cleaned furniture" since in my case they didn't have to worry about moving furniture since the place was empty. What i can tell you though is that they thoroughly cleaned everything! Bathroom? Yes. Inside the oven? Uh huh. Top of the fridge where no one even looks? Heck yea! They bring all the cleaning supplies and ladders. They cleaned the vents, shelves, and behind the big appliances. Amazing. Only mishap was they mistakenly thought a little baggie i left on my kitchen counter was trash so they threw it away. It actually was a bag full of my bills and new mail from my new place. NO WORRIES i got it from the trash room downstairs =P Crisis. Averted. Regardless, I will surely recommend them to all my friends and I look forward to hiring them for future cleanings. The place is spotless!!! Thank you! read more

I was excited to use this company based on the reviews. I scheduled a deep cleaning and one upholstered item to be cleaned. Since our home was empty and pretty to clean to start it was hard to justify their price. They had difficulty cleaning the basement even though I spoke with a manager to explain in advance. The item that was upholstered was left with lines along the back of the chair from the machine used. Overall, the job was not bad but average, they showed up a 1/2 hour late outside of the 2 hour time frame and it looked like everyone was rushing. They missed things like wiping down the cabinets over the stove and cleaning parts of the fridge and freezer. In their defense, they offered to come back but I declined. read more

The communication from the office right from the start was fast, thorough and pleasant. The team actually arrived 15 minutes earlier than scheduled and was ready to go. They cleaned every inch of my house in their 1st "deep clean", the baseboards, inside windowsills, wiped down every container in my refrigerator and all the shelves, all the cabinets...my house hasn't been this clean since I moved in! They were all no nonsense, straight to work and came with their own cleaning supplies. I came home to a house that looked and smelled so clean! I would highly recommend this cleaning agency! read more

I contacted this company for a deep clean of my home after construction/repairs. I explained to them that my home needed a deep clean. Four young ladies came out and I was excited to see this. I thought that meant the attention my home needed would be provided. However, the service they provided was poor. Due to the dust from the construction/repairs, I expected that they would focus on dusting furniture, window seals, floors, baseboards, etc. They did not. What they did was focus on the kitchen [stove, refrigerator], a place where the dust wasn't as significant as the rest of the home. The cost of their services was exorbitant for the service I received. I am still finding areas that need to be cleaned that were not cleaned by DB Cleaning. My recommendation is to shop around and not to be fooled by the shiny bright stoves and ovens they show in their pictures. If you need a deep clean like I did, do deeper research or seek referrals from family or friends. I do not recommend this company. read more

They were excellent. Pretty pricing but I was very impressed with the cleaning. I was moving out and preparing for showings to get renters and they cleaning my entire house including the garage and basement. I guess those additional rooms made it costly. They charged me I think 6 hours. If I needed another deep cleaning, I would return! read more

I'd highly recommend! I utilize their services for both residential & and business! Trustworthy and professional!

I am very disappointed at this company especially with all the great reviews. I put down a deposit and schedule my deep clean, grout and carpet package a month before so they can work with my schedule. I was told they're able to work with my schedule and would receive a $50 discount since I'm having so much services done. They end up telling me the day before my cleaning that they didn't receive any memos about my the timing and my $50 discount. The girl who took care of me left the company. I even referred my sister to have them clean one of her buildings. I honestly could've referred them a lot of clients. read more

DB's response to my review was top notch. They contacted me to explain that they would have sent a team back to finish cleaning any areas that I thought had been missed, but because my wife had already finished cleaning the kitchen, they were willing to make amends other ways. They ended up sending a team to clean my bathroom and gave me a discount on the price for the kitchen. Always happy to see a company that firmly stands by their work and goes the extra mile to make amends when a customer isn't fully satisfied. Would use again! read more

I had DB cleaning services come to my apartment this week and I was extremely satisfied with the work done. My apartment looks spotless and actually better than when I moved in. The time frame was a little long for when they could arrive as it was 3 hours. But this was just as it was a very busy day. I really appreciate how nice they made my place look. I thought the pricing seemed expensive at first, but after receiving other quotes the pricing was in line. They sent a very professional group of people and although you may always be worried about someone stealing from your residence you do not have to worry with these people. They were extremely professional and nothing was taken. Cleaners were very nice and quick. A+++ read more

The team of 5 arrived on time and did a wonderful "deep clean" of our 3 bed 2.5 bath home in about 2 1/2 hours. Furniture was moved, refrigerator and stove cleaned, bathrooms sparkled and we couldn't see a speck of dust or cobweb. Joe, the team lead, didn't hesitate to ask questions before and during the process, and he also walked through the house at the end. I also wanted to mention that the "front of the house" was very helpful with our questions and concerns. Rochelle was very prompt returning our calls and phone messages and strived to ensure that our customer satisfaction was maximized. We are looking forward to DB doing regular cleaning every 2 weeks. read more

DB service arrived at my house on Tuesday, 10/08/19 exactly on time at 8:a.m. There were four people, one male and three females and they never stopped working until 3:p.m. I was actually considering selling this house until they made it so sparkling clean, I never want to leave it. I look forward to my follow up cleanings and will try to schedule a deep cleaning every three or four months. read more

The short version: this cleaning company is the absolute BEST! They schedule appointments quickly, their employees work swiftly and efficiently, every person you interact with from DB cleaning is beyond polite and professional, and they are ridiculously well priced. I won't ever use another cleaning service in Philadelphia again now that I've found DB cleaning. I'm a graduate student at Temple, and between packing and classes, I had no time to clean my old apartment before moving out. I had to schedule move-out cleaning only days before I was supposed to vacate the apartment; I sent a message to DB Cleaning rather late one night and Douglas got back to me immediately! The next day, a 4 person cleaning crew arrived at my door. They showed up exactly on time, and all four workers were as nice as anyone could be. They came in and immediately began cleaning my 1-bedroom apartment from top to bottom, and less than two hours later, the entire apartment was spotless. The cleaning services included, but were certainly not limited to: washing windows and windowsills, dusting blinds, vaccuming, cleaning the crown molding around the floor and ceiling, dusting, mopping and vaccumming floors, scrubbing the toilet/sinks/tub, and cleaning dishes (and my microwave!). All four of the employees in my house worked very quickly, and went above and beyond the call of duty. In under two hours, my apartment is cleaner than it was the day my landlords gave me the key. Look no further, this is the cleaning service you should use. The friendly employees and amazing prices coupled with the quality of their work combines into the best deal you could ever hope to find for cleaning services. read more

VERY happy with the deep clean of our new home by DB. We will absolutely be booking them again. Our team of 5 cleaners tackled our 5 bd, 2 br house in 3 hours. Pricing is very fair and affordable. read more

Reached out to DB cleaning to schedule a one time clean. Making the appointment was very easy and on the day of the cleaning a crew of 4 extremely friendly DB staff showed up right on time. My house has literally never been cleaner! They deep cleaned top to bottom including all of my appliances, I think the oven was cleaner than the day we bought the house. Bathrooms are sparkling, beds made, dust underneath furniture eradicated, floors mopped clean. The house smells amazing. I will absolutely be using them again for services and would recommend them to anyone looking for the best clean your house has ever had. read more

I have a one bedroom/one bathroom apartment that was cleaned. Cleaners arrived on time at 8 AM. Four cleaners cleaned my small apartment for two and a half hours. When we arrived home we took off our shoes to walk back into the house and our feet were covered in dirt by the end of the night. Only surfaces were cleaned and I'm unsure why it took the amount of time it did to finish such a small space. I feel I was overcharged for the clean I received. May be worth it for a larger space since it seems they worked the same amount of time on the 3 bedroom houses as they did on my small one bedroom apartment. Hoping this helps so it doesn't happen to anyone else in the Philadelphia living in a small apartment. read more
