Hired with explicit information that house had been occupied by squatter with tons of dog hair and dust. Promised " deep cleaning" 4 hours for $370 but did not deliver. Deep clean does not mean vacuum and wipe with a damp rag on a pole. The owner may respond that I was rude. 1) he provided a time then called to say the cleaners were there and waiting an hour before appointed time. 2) On phone twice confirmed house conditions including understanding that they would not have to clean tub, shower stall, and toilet. 3) Started work at quarter last hour and were packing up 90 minutes later. I hired Ed's cleaning due to reviews. Requested full deep clean, mind you house needed cleaning of baseboards, fans, etc. I clean the house regularly, treating myself to a fall clean. First, they missed the first appointment. Secondly, the house was not deep cleaned after paying for 2 people 4.5 hours, house is less than 1100sq feet. No ceiling fans cleaned, no walls wiped down, furniture not moved. They did clean my refrigerator, and decided on their own to put frozen food that started in my freezer, in my refrigerator, odd. Cleaned the stove and put many items back in the stove that didn't belong, including potholders. This is just a few details. Found Ed's via Yelp after being quoted out of control rates by competing companies for a move-in clean. Ed was quick to respond to my quote, flexible with dates and times, and communicative in terms of when he and his team would arrive at our new spot. Pros: -Deep cleaned the fridge! A blessing. -Vacuumed the carpet on the stairs -Seems to have cleaned surfaces, bathrooms, and swept floors Cons: -Ed did have to send cleaners back to the house 3 separate times to get the stairways vacuumed. This could have been a miscommunication between Ed and his cleaners, or could have been because they kept vacuuming the wrong set of stairs (we have 2 sets that are carpeted, and 1 set continued to be overlooked in the cleaning process). But to Ed's credit, he did sent folks back time and again until they got it right! -Floors either did not seem to have been mopped, or were mopped less intensely than I'd hoped (Walking around barefoot after, my feet still turned brown within a few minutes. But at that point Ed had sent cleaners back 3x, and I really did not have the capacity to have them come back again! So I mopped myself upon move in. No biggie if like me you like to clean a bit, but be wary to those who shiver at the sight of a mop.) -Some trash/debris was left on our deck and on counters, but we just tossed that in a bag and put it on the curb. Overall, I'd say Ed's is a good option if, like me, you can't afford those more expensive companies. But you might want to be ready to dedicate a few days to the process, or to roll up your sleeves and do a bit of cleaning yourself, too. read more

We found Ed's through Yelp. Ed was the first cleaner to reply with a quote, which was very reasonable. We upgraded the request to a deep clean. We have a three bedroom townhouse that had not been thoroughly cleaned for pretty much the entire pandemic. The two young ladies showed up on time. They worked incredibly hard, being much more thorough than we expected. They were very pleasant. The results were amazing. Overall, I would recommend this team very highly. Used once before- so I scheduled them to clean the house I was renting and going to be moving out of. Also scheduled to deep clean the house we were moving into, before actually moving. Scheduled one month in advance for the morning at 8am. I received a message the day before informing me they were coming at 2pm (first issue). I explained the day before that unfortunately the painters were still there (one guy), and to clean around their stuff. Upon my arrival back at the house, the bathroom was not touched at all, the baseboards through the entire house were still dusty, there were still some small cob webs in corners. The kitchen wasn't cleaned. None of the windows/windowsills were touched. The walls were not wiped down. There was no furniture besides some box's and the mats the painters needed which I explained and said to clean around it all. They said they swept and mopped what they could in the kitchen, the same dead bug was still there so they didn't sweep or mop. I had to start cleaning since I had furniture coming that day since Ed's cleaning service failed to do their job. They came back and tried to claim what I cleaned, they did. I requested my money back since I cleaned myself, Ed said no the dirt and dust left was from the painters. Again, one guy does not make all that dust and cob webs and the painter was secluded to one room. Pictures for proof. They'll claim they cleaned but won't and steal your money. read more

There was some sort of misunderstanding/miscommunication about the time of arrival, so they were quite a bit later than I was expecting them. But they were fantastic in their work!!! They got the furniture dusted, carpets thoroughly swept, upholstery cleaned (oh, the cat hairs they encountered!), kitchen sparkling, bathroom fresh. I cannot praise them enough. The value is yet to be determined. I hired Ed's Cleaning service for a deep clean and carpet cleaning. I was told that, there may be a change in price since it took longer than expected. My main concern is that the gentleman whom he sent to do the carpet cleaning refused to listen to me and his colleagues when we asked him to turn of the carpet cleaning machine because he was flooding the basement. He ignored us and said that he would just vacuum up the water. He did, but now it is still flooded because he did not get all of it. It was still wet when he left. He told me that it would take six hours to dry and it is even wetter that when he left yesterday. I wish he had asked me prior to hooking up the water source. I would have told him which one to use.
