Fortunately, the company I hired had no problem doing my job on a Friday when I contacted them the previous Monday. That owner actually called me the same day as when I contacted her and Holistic Home here on Yelp. It worked out, because they did a fabulous job and I would definitely use them again (see my stellar 5-star review, above). I would also point out if you look at Holistic Home's other reviews, you'll see that customer service appears to be a recurring problem. She likes to be nasty to people on Yelp--it's a habit for her. Another 30 minutes go by and no one shows up and no luck reaching anyone for explanation. I was notified later in the day that the appointment was cancelled because of a "no-show" but again no explanation. I left a frustrated 1-star review and only then did Oleg reach out (on Yelp) in response to my review telling me they did eventually show up and clean the place and that he cancelled the appointment so I wouldn't be charged. While I appreciate the consideration of not being charged since the service was so late, I clearly should've been notified at multiple points as to what was going on, it shouldn't come down to a response on my yelp review. Nonetheless, the actual cleaning was good--I have no complaints in that regard. Judging by other reviews here, this service seems very hit or miss.
