This experience felt so real. Every step feels like your last if you don't work together. The area you play in is huge. I can't state enough, don't go at it alone, work with a team. But definitely do it, it is so much fun wrapped into a thirty minute experience.

I personally like to play laser tag with the kids from time to time, and maybe play a videogame or so. The kids love to get the slushies, especially the large ones in the plastic robot. This is also a great place for parties. Although we have not taken part in their activity nights, they will do events, like a New Years party, etc... where participants have a pre-paid charge and can play as much as they like. This is a great place, certainly underrated, and must do if you like rides, tag, golf, junk food, and games.

He was hooked on the claw machine with rubber ducks and made me play it over and over to win ducks. I successfully won 6 before we used all the credits. Then I went to grab a fountain soda and water. They gave them to me no charge. My son dropped the water immediately and it spilled everywhere. They instantly started preparing another and called for a mop. They were very kind and generous and it really made my night easier. Great people!

Above-and-beyond customer service from GM Jennifer!…read more My friend and I were taking our boys out today for a day of fun down town Detroit. We decided on lunch and the Illusion Museum. She texted me the link she used to buy her tickets. I clicked it and somehow it directed me to Atlanta instead which I did not know that! I'll own that I should have looked more closely....I checked the number of adults, children, total cost, etc., but never thought to double check the city. I didn't realize the mistake until the Detroit staff couldn't find my name in their system. I was embarrassed and starting to panic, but Jennifer, the general manager, immediately helped me. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and never made me feel silly (which I totally felt inside). She even shared that this had happened to someone else recently, so whoever manages the IT side of things might want to look into this. Jennifer pulled out her phone and texted the GM in Atlanta to help me get a refund! Within minutes, I had my refund, was able to repurchase tickets for Detroit, and got in with my group! That was above and beyond!!!! She then helped me with a locker...as if she didn't already do enough The museum was clean, fun, and such a great experience overall. Jennifer was wonderful......her customer service was exactly how people should treat and help one another.

They have a very nice cocktail menu with a mixologist behind the bar that knows how to make a perfect cocktail. My favorite contain they have is the Cranberry Botida. It has all the flavors that a cocktail girl like myself wants. Within the restaurant, there are many games to play with +2 people. The menu is short, but they know what they're doing. Their burgers are top notch gourmet burgers. Now the arcade that's connected is an absolute gem. They have SEGA, +20 pinball machines and a CD jukebox. This is the place!

If you don't show up at opening, be prepared to wait in a long line. We arrived 7:10pm and there was already a line, and they opened 7:30pm. Luckily it was nice out. When we purchased our tickets we were within the first 200 people so we got free t-shirt tickets. We went to three other haunted attractions that all sucked. The hayrides and hainted houses were awful. We were rushed and no one enjoyed them. We were hopeful going into Erebus. We were absolutely shocked that they changed a lot of the entire walkthrough. We actually got scared a few times from people jumping out at us. They did get rid of the ballpit. However, if you are claustrophobit be warned there is an area you walk through that gets tight. My sister and others behind her were freaking out telling us to walk faster. It was actually a lot of fun. We picked up our t-shirts at the end. They had some cards for the escape room to get a discount. There was a sign that said "ask me how to save 50% off" for the escape room. They also have a little shop area for drinks and food. I got a blue raspberry slushie for $5. Overall, if you are looking to actually have a fun time I highly suggest Erebus because we were all impressed with the quality compared to the other haunted houses/hayrides we experienced this year.

The stage for music is located right next to WAB and beer and whiskey tents are set up in the parking lot behind WAB, The Emory and surrounding restaurants. Admission is free and you can bring your own bottled water with you. It's also a dog friendly event and lots of people walk their dogs around the fest. You purchase tickets at designated tents similar to Arts Bears and Eats. Tickets are $2 a piece. Most beers are about 3 tickets and whiskeys are between 4-7 tickets. I usually start with a sheet of tickets for $20 but you can buy as few or many tickets as you like but they are non-refundable. Food vendors for the BBQ portion were located further down, past the whiskey and beer vendors this year. Surprisingly BBQ/food vendors only accepted cash or credit this year and didn't accept tickets which was kind of annoying because last year they only took tickets and wouldn't take cash and I wish they had posted that somewhere before I had bought extra tickets. The food is good. I had BBQ ribs from Bad Brad's BBQ with a Mexican style watermelon salad with cojita cheese and cilantro which was light and refreshing. Their Pig Candy-candied bacon is delicious! There were lots off BBQ vendors with pulled pork sliders and tacos, ribs, mac and cheese, jalapeño cornbread, and Cheeto covered street corn. Picnic tables were all the way at the other end of the festival this year and it would be nice if there was seating near the food tents. Lots of great beers too from Dogfish Head, Griffin Claw, Shorts, B. Nektar and more. They have whiskey from Jack Daniels, Jameson, Old Forster, Four Roses, Woodsford Reserve, and more. Last year they had some tents that mixed craft cocktails with whiskey and bourbon. I had a Woodsford Reserve mint julep that was amazing and a pineapple upside down cake cocktail with brown sugar bourbon mixed with pineapple juice that was delicious. This year I didn't see many cocktails, just strait whiskey or bourbon or you could add a a mixer but mixers were only limited to lemonade or Faygo soda. The main reason I go every year is for the music. A friend and I love Electric Six and we attend to see them perform every year. Electric Six has closed out the festival on Sunday night for the last six or seven years. They always put on an awesome show. Last year there were torrential downpours and they had to call the festival due to rain, so lots of people got stuck with drink tickets which were non-refundable. However they didn't cancel the music and moved Electric Six's set down to The Loving Touch and it was a really great show. This year we also saw Ann Arbor band Joe Hertler and the Rainbow Seekers who are a lot of fun to see. Verve Pipe also played on Friday night. The festival runs Friday through Sunday. It starts at 6 pm on Friday and around noon on Saturday and Sunday and goes until midnight with music ending at around 9:00 on Sunday. I always have a blast and I'll definitely be back next year.

Nice to catch the show or just hear the music in the near distance. Everything was laid out well, though I didn't realize at first there was a whole another grilling section. I really enjoyed @smokeringdet's burnt ends. Their sauce was unique and addictive. Wanted to try more. Rub's ribs were just okay, but liked that they were grilling corn and buttered it well. I'm familar with Woodpile so passed them by, but they are the real deal. Rockefeller's (Jai Lee Dearing) had some great bbq going: ribs, outstanding chicken wings, sausages, grilled corn, and 1lb burgers! Union Woodshop or was it Vinsetta? had a nicely priced slider Macon Bacon sandwich that was so damn good. Lots of whiskey choices but I didn't partake. Liked the beer tent choices esp. Lagunitas. Pricey but they have good strong beer. Definitely dog friendly as there were quite a few. Seating can get dicey. Expect to communal share a table. Which can be nice brief meetings amongst strangers. And can offer insights into what others are or have tasted. Fun times. Great yearly summer event. Not too massive.

What I can say is that it's always very, and I've met a lot of very cool people during my few hours here each year. I've been there a few times now, and it's always different, which is great.
