A 5-star recycling center?? I didn't believe it either. But after coming here a few times, I can totally see why. The staffs are attentive, friendly and efficient. Every time I come, someone is there to help me unload right away. I usually have at least 7-10 big bags of cans/bottles/misc items, and it takes less than 10-15 minutes for me to get in and out. In addition, it is a lot cleaner than other typical recycling places. They have a little hand-washing area for customers too - soap and paper towel are also available. read more

We had a stack of flattened cardboard boxes and needed to get rid of them as they were just taking up so much space. We didn't want to just chuck them away at the landfill since they were recyclable. Finding places to take them was so difficult. Fortunately I saw Yelp reviews about this place and the business description listed that they took cardboard though I wasn't certain if that was the case since there was only one review from 3 years ago that mentioned cardboard. We took our chances and hauled our van full of boxes including boxes with shipping paper. The guys there not only gladly took the cardboard off our hands and saved them from the landfill, but they were so helpful. They helped us unload and even disposed of the rubbish that one box had so that they could take that box for recycling as well. It was amazing customer service and I really would encourage everyone to go there. This is the kind of neighborhood business that deserves all the support that we can give. Best place to recycle bulk quantities of recyclables in my opinion. They always have friendly hardworking staff nearby to help you get in and out quick. I loathed going to the places where there's a single person that holds up the rest of the people. Sanchez Recycling has an efficient operation with plenty of parking and sanitation stations as well as plenty of large basket bins that make the process so much easier. I got around $40.00 with about 5 kitchen trash bag sized bottles and cans and glass bottles. They show up on the maps so it wasn't difficult to find. Overall I would say that this place is doing a great service for the community and also for the environment. read more

Little update on my previous review-Sanchez Recycling is still the BEST. Their coupons are gone but that doesn't bother me. I no longer work in Yorba Linda and I still live in Huntington Beach but I still bring my recycling only to Sanchez Recycling because I drive this way every couple weeks. They're still the friendliest. Yes, they have worn masks during the Covid debacle. I've seen them sanitize their little desk where you sign for your cash. They keep their hand washing station clean for their guests. Annnnd they're still the most friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for? Side story: I brought recycling once to SR, in one of the boxes as I was pulling it out of my car had 2 surrrprrrisseee mice. I panicked obviously, but the guy who helped me did not (THANKFULLY). He took care of the 2 mice for me (a little traumatizing haha) and we went about our way like nothing happened. read more

Wonderful customer service and THE BEST prices in the area!! Went there for a 2nd time today, with my husbands and my car both full with about 12-13 garbage bags FULL of mixed water bottles, beer cans, etc. after struggling thru about 4 bags, 2 of their wonderful and very quick working staff noticed and came to assist. We found this place while searching online for what to do with recyclables since Earthwise closed up all of their collection sites. I wish we had found it sooner! Everyone working here is so helpful and super friendly. They not only accept recyclables with CRV but also ANY glass (wine and liquor bottles, etc) Additionally, they purchase scrap metal. We took in old junk we wanted to get rid of from around the house and were surprised at how much it weighed. Just drive in and park and a friendly person will bring you sorting bins. You get paid at the cashier window as soon as they weigh everything. read more

Very courteous and helpful staff! When we pulled up, a person was there with bins ready to help us unload. They practice social distancing and provide hand sanitizer. The even offer free cold bottled water. Their rates seem to be a little better than other recycling facilities. read more

Rare to find a self located recycle center. They provide plenty of sort bins and get you thru fast. Note - you will need to sort your own glass by color and seperate non-large CRV type juice containers. They also give you some few cents for non-recyclable labeled plastics, glass and other. Friendly and you don't need to wait for others to finish as some places do. Space is plentiful to get you in and out. read more

This is a hidden gem! We've had a hard time finding a recycling center that's open consistently and didn't know this place existed until I did a web search. So glad I found it. This place was NOT hard to find. They have signs up showing you which way they are and big green flags at the entrance that you can see on your way in. Friendly staff. Clean place. I went to Placentia Location around 11:35ish and it was the most cleanest and organizations recycling Center I been to. This place is a bit hidden to get to google maps take you to the other side of the Recycling Center. (Lakeview Ave & Lakeview Loop- is how you get there) The parking is a bit small like about 5 cars but don't let that deter you to come. The staff is friendly and quick. I got in an out (including parking) about 5 mins tops. This is my new place to come and get my recycling done. read more

My husband and I love this recycling location! The staff are always friendly and are ready to greet you when you get out of your vehicle. The team members always bring the basket to you or help bring your bags of materials to the baskets. Even better is they help sort your items too. After trying so many recycling locations, we couldn't be happier with the polite staff and quick service here. The location is very clean and tidy as well. After sorting our recyclables, we are able to wash our hands with the sink around the corner from the cashier. Never have been to a recycling location that offers this perk; we leave feeling clean too after touching stick bottles. Please support this local business if you can. Old customer. Told me need to separate CA CRV glass bottles, other no CA CRV glass bottles are no value today. No time and interest for argue. Came few times before, not mentioned this requirement. Best recycling experience ever! They promptly go up to your car to help you then immediately give you your money. Very pleasant to deal with, 5 stars! Additional info on directions getting there, not Sanchez's fault: Wish the city would give them a new address since they are not actually on Orangethorpe north of the tracks. To get to their address on Orangethorpe, you have to cross south over the bridge on Lakeview Ave. to Lakeview Loop which takes you to their location. Maps will always take you north of the tacks, but there is nothing there, so frustrating the first time you try to find it! read more

This spot is a little tucked away but maybe that's why I like it so much. Although you do have to grab the containers and separate your own bottles, service is quick and easy once complete with weighing process. They even offer free waters which is a nice gesture as the area is pretty exposed to the elements - You can quickly work up a sweat. Will be back to collect all my redemptions/refunds. Make sure to bring gloves with you and sneakers not sandals as it can get pretty sticky. Small sink is there to use too after your done. read more
