Add another one star review. We really wanted to hire locally for a landscaping job. The estimator came...talked to us about year around availability for all the work we wanted to do. We made selections of style and material from their website...shook hands and ended the appointment with the promise of an estimate. Next morning came the email that they were unavailable for the job until next year. Fine we thought,,,we'll book them in early. We wrote back asking to set a date. We have been ghosted. STAY AWAY FROM SANCHEZ LANDSCAPING INC. I hired Sanchez Landscaping Inc. to overseed the front lawns at a rental property I owned earlier this year near Olympia, WA. However, THEY RUINED MY LAWN. At first, I was impressed by their work; they arrived on time, and it looked like they knew what they were doing (though I am not a landscaper). They mowed, sprayed the weeds in the lawn, covered the lawn with a layer of topsoil, applied some grass seed, and set up the sprinklers and the water timers. The only thing to do was to wait for the grass seed to germinate. However, they failed to set up the water timers correctly, and they applied much too little grass seed. Most of the original grass was dead (smothered by the topsoil), and very little of the grass seed ever germinated. Please see before and after pictures attached. I reached out to Sanchez Landscaping Inc. several times to ask them for assistance, but they never responded. I told them in a voicemail that, if they did not respond, I would feel obligated to inform other potential customers of my experience. That is why I am writing this review. Sanchez Landscaping Inc. did not take responsibility for their work, and they left me in the lurch. In retrospect, I should have known that they were crooked. When they packed up (after ruining my lawn), they encouraged me to pay with cash; they explained that, with cash, they would not need to pay sales tax on the transaction, and I could get a better price... I paid with a check. If they would cheat the government, they would cheat me too--and they did. My advice: STAY AWAY FROM SANCHEZ LANDSCAPING INC. read more

Beware. This man says he does French Drains but I assure you, he does not understand the fundamentals of pitch, grade, etc. Further, the drains he installed were crooked! It not only looks horrible but it holds water attracting mosquitoes. His quotes are inflated and failed to include what he agreed to include. read more

Very dishonest and unprofessional . Initially said he will cover with sod but did only half . He had said he will apply 20 rolls of grass . My biggest mistake was that I trusted him and his professional judgment. I assumed 20 rolls will cover the whole ground and signed the contract. The 29 rolls covered only half of the ground. My backyard is basically covered with only half of sod and the other half empty. Am expecting guests this weekend for barbecue with half done backyard. We have had them mow/trim our yard for a little while now and now my husband and I, because of health reasons, can't get out and do any weeding/upkeep so wew talked to him about completely redoing our rockeries and flow beds and all of the yard. They work for 3 days straight and cleaned out everything, scalloped the beds, put in pavers and beauty bar. What a job!! Neighbors even came over and asked if we were moving and if so, could they put a bid in on our house!!!! They come back every two weeks and keep everything looking brand new. Thank you guys. I've never used this service, but the company truck drove thru my neighborhood and littered this morning. I caught up to the truck, called the phone number, and the driver answered. I asked him why he threw his coffee cup out on my street. He told me "it slipped." If you hire someone dumb enough to litter when their phone number is on their truck, then you get what you deserve.
