He left ruts on both sides of our driveway and rolled over decorative rocks trying to manipulate his rig. He left his trailer blocking the road so neighbors couldn't get out, for multiple days. He sent us 1/16 of the amount then said, this is your fault, don't contact me again." If you want communication this is not your man. If you want someone to do exactly as you ask, this is not your guy. If you want to talk about how he draws conclusions this person will not communicate anything except your payment. Now. Full amount. With signed contract that he can then dissolve at his whim. You may be able to work with him but just know his ego is driving the bus.

I noticed he had not brought the rototiller or the soil amendment and asked. He skipped my question. He asked if I had planned on landscape fabric or bark chips. He said he had bark chips. I had not intended on it, but had 8 bags in the garage. He said we needed 20 more. I was getting frustrated that our visions were not meshing. We bought more mulch. Skipping to the end, my yard looks nicer, but I did not get what I wanted. He tried to push me towards getting sod and also having him put in a sprinkler system. So I decided to use Mint again for landscaping work where I had to install brick and shrubs on my…read morefront porch. When they started the project the day of Halloween, the landscapers showed up very early. It only took a few minutes for them to remove the dead shrubs. At first the front porch looked pretty bad because of the bare porch. The next day, landscapers returned to apply more sod and start the brick work. When they laid the brick, my porch started to look more even. The shrubs like blue fescue, lavender, fountain grass and azalea were installed. Once that was done, mulch was applied to the porch and side yard. Everything was basically complete except for a couple boulders to be installed. Unfortunately it did take a couple weeks for it to arrive. I emailed Josh(owner of Mint Landscapes) checking on the status, and the boulder was installed the very next day. Now my front porch looks AMAZING!! My neighbors always compliment me about my porch. I'm extremely happy about the work they did. Although Mint is not the cheapest in the area, they do provide excellent work and are very courteous. I'd highly recommend them.
