Some people are real "settled" into their sites which might make Richie rich uncomfortable, but it's all good. Security guys are always around and know what's going on in the campsite, other campers and staff are extremely helpful, and the rules that seem real strict are more like guidelines...which is fine by me. This place is had a bar, store, pool, lake, pond, play ground, and firewood for $5. If you're a whiny brat, look elsewhere.

Knowing this, the staff reserved a spot for us when we called knowing we couldn't fit into most of their spots. Upon arrival we find out that they gave our spot away ( a blessing in disguise) and moved us to the rear of the park. Our new site was backed up to a maintenance path used by golfers and staff but non the less it wasn't a bad spot. Very hard to back into being a tree was on the back in drivers side but once in, it was fine. Now let's talk about the RV Park. I'd say 90% seasonal RVers. They pretty much let the people do what they want with the sites. Patios made of cinder blocks. Overgrown grass and trailers that haven't been moved in decades. There was a mini tennis court with a broken gate and a net about to fall off. One playground at the entrance of the park and that's about it. Now knowing the lack of amenities, we thought what would be the big deal with inviting our family to our camper being they never saw it. Well once we asked the front desk if it would be a problem having them over they said they would need to charge $6 per person and $9 if they stay past 9pm. When asked what amenities are they paying for besides visiting us, no pool, no activities, nothing, they said that's policy. I understand, but when you have nothing you would hope people would want to spend time there. Now for the golf course. We called and asked for a tee time Saturday morning. They told us that there was a tournament going but they can fit us in between parties at 9:40am. When my father-in-law arrived, the man at the office said the scheduling person was nuts to schedule us being there were so many people on the course. After feeling bad about turning us away they tried to put us in real fast but it would have been a disaster mixed in with them. Another example of their poor planning. So to wrap it up, if your a transient RVer like us with kids and would like a clean, organized, RV park with amenities, and friendly staff, this is not your place. If your cool with being mixed in with seasonals that look like they permanently moved in, give it a shot. For us, we will never return.

My father went…read morethere, and my mother went to Camp Pembroke, which is also owned by the Eli and Bessie Cohen Foundation. I made countless memories and formed lifelong friendships there. In fact, this summer I will serve as a bridesmaid for one of my former bunkmates. Camp Tel Noar has so many great activities, almost any child can find one that they excel at. The have several different arts and craft activities, ceramics and painting, for example, as well as every sport under the sun. Wiffleball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, kickball... the list goes on and on. Lake Sunset, the lake that Camp Tel Noar sits on, is one of the cleanest lakes in North America. The waterfront activities include swimming, boating, canoeing, windsurfing, and waterskiing. I truly wish I was still a kid so I could keep going back every summer. There is no better feeling than knowing you have the next two months to do nothing but hang out with your closest friends and play sports in the sun. On the other hand, there is nothing worse than crying outside of your bunk on the last day.

They don't have any kid activities, they don't open the arcade room til 8pm. So we sat at our dirty capsite for the whole day and night. The mosquitoes are awful, the cigarette smoking makes it unable to breathe. Our site was a mess, cigarettes all over, dirty rags and a rusted pail scattered around. The beach area had broken beer glass on it. We paid to go on the lake, we had to bail the boat out first and then drag it ourselves to the water. I would never come here ever again. They don't take pride in the campgrounds at all.

Took some great photo shots today! There is a rusted piece of machinery that looks like was left behind with difficulty of removal. Very neat to take some vivid photos with. My husband spotted a few platforms that look like are set up for camping ... if that is the case, we are in for some camping in the summer! :) Definitely a place to go for some nice walks ... change it up with Robert Frost Farm and the Windham rail trail! And! please note that it is easy to drive right by this place ... the sign somewhat blends in with the surroundings.

For the Par 3 course: Fun and challenging topography, some longer holes, kind of offbeat…read moreatmosphere. The problem is that the holes are so close together, that the players on the previous hole tee off heading in the precise location where you're teeing off on the next hole, so, you will have other players' balls actually landing *very close to or on* you. Also, it is located at a campground, for real, where you have to walk past trailers and campers while golfing, which lends its own atmosphere, but for me, made it different and fun. Not too expensive at $15/pp walking, for non-campers. For the money, there are better laid out courses in the area, (like Apple Hill for one), though, that don't have all of that distraction of other balls falling on you, lol. Still, good short game practice.

All of the staff has been great, all friendly and welcoming but owner's Jess and Josh take the time for each of their clients, Sam and Emily are amazing and great to work with. Team Verrill cares very much about the horses and their owners, it shows daily with their hard work and dedication. The barn and indoor is very well kept, lessons are thorough and always on schedule.
