Hubs and I noticed this place while out walking a few blocks from our hotel near Plaza Dorrego. We were looking for a change of pace and thought we'd try local sushi, since the seafood we'd been having was excellent. We came away feeling like this place was just OK. we started with a very unconventional seaweed salad that we'd never had in that form before, and it tasted OK, just wasn't what we were expecting. The gyoza was good, pretty much what you find and taste anywhere. Their selection of rolls is really salmon-heavy, with just a handful of tuna options, and not much else (for instance, yellowtail, octopus, eel, mackerel, etc.). We also ordered a Philly roll, and the salmon was cut quite thin, and there was lots of cream cheese and rice, so most of the flavor profile was much less about the salmon and a lot more about the cream cheese. I also had a salmon skin roll, which was better, as was the shrimp tempura roll. If we ever find ourselves in BA again, I don't know that we'd come back here. It certainly wasn't bad, but didn't have much to lure us back. That said, the service was good, and the ambiance was nice as well. read more
