dedicated parking for quick and easy pick ups!
    Eri S.

searching for open cafes crossing the richmond-san rafael bridge and this place popped up. the friendly woman working there said it's been open 3 years but it's the first time i've seen it. shows you how search engines do not find everything worth finding. lots of windows and the space while tiny feels spacious from lots of white that bounces light around. only a few tables so must do more take out business - they have 2 dedicated parking spaces right next to. had the tofu gim bap (tasty) and lilikoi arnold palmer (delish!). would def stop by again next time i cross that bridge. would be a great stop if doing the bike across the bridge!

Delicious lunch! The spicy pork and rice bowl with Kimchee is really good. Tasty, nice spices, and good quantity. The Dumplings are good too. The people are super nice, and the place is charming, with easy parking. Highly recommended!

Stumbled across this little cute restaurant while I was in the area. I love the vibes here in this little store. Very cute and they even sell Korean snacks, drinks, and kimchi inside. The cashier was very nice and patient with me when I was deciding what to order. Their menu has a lot of good options to choose from!! I ordered the sweet&savory kimchi noodle salad and I really enjoyed how refreshing it was. It was a little plain for my liking but that's okie. It doesn't come with meat so if you want to add meat, it's $2 extra. On top of that, I ordered the boba drink (lychee green tea with crystal boba) and I thought it was pretty refreshing too. I will definitely revisit the next time I'm in the area:)

My go-to for this place is their bibimbap. Simple yet comforting. A small yet lovely place. I believe there is hype about their coffee too so I will endeavor to try that next time. You'll enjoy it. Cheers!

Lovely cashier experience! Worker/owner is friendly and very thorough in making sure items you order are correct. Also, they have a range of sides and drinks on display (teas on display, beverages in fridge) and also Korean snacks to choose from on a shelf.

We were hungry after a round of golf and craving some quick Korean snacks. Boy did we find just the perfect place! Loved their tofu and veggie gimbop, perfectly seasoned with the fragrant sesame oil! Jachae was also yummy and the sauces on the Korean corn dog had the right amount of kick to it. The owner was friendly and the service was efficient. It is sorta hidden, tucked in an unlikely corner by the ocean. The unique and whimsical interior with packaged Korean food and desserts is very inviting.

Shhh! Don't tell anyone! Ok, just a couple people Bright, lovely, lively vibe, Monica (owner) has assembled a menu to satisfy the breakfast crowd that's been around here for a long time plus introduce good Korean food for lunch and take out. I'm Japanese- American learning about Korean food so I'm not an expert at all plus it's been scarce in Marin County- only one older place which recently closed and was just ok. So... coffee drinks, boba (unsweetened alt milks are here- thank you!), pastries, Kimchi burritos for AM. Kim bap, jap chae, bulgogi and much more for lunch. It reminds me of a cafe in SF by a known chef - clean, delicious and authentic but also contemporary. It would suit a vegan /plant based diet. Plus watch a K- drama on the TV in the background. You might get hooked! Nice job Monica!

The service was fast. Not many people stay, very comfortable place because it's not crowded. Small but very friendly place.

Love the French roll - especially when heated up and the cheddar cheese melts into the bread. I order mine with lite dressing, vegetarian with cheddar cheese, small size. Something about the chopped lettuce, the melted cheese, cucumbers, avocado, and the chopped onion satisfies my discerning palate. In addition to the sandwich menu, there's also breakfast items and some ramen type dishes, even chow mein. A very unassuming space with virtually no aesthetic, but the food makes up for lack of design. There are a variety of can and bottle beverages, and a great potato chips selection from "Kettle" brand. Truly a very satisfying meal and all-around experience. Friendly owners that make the food for you normally on hand. On E. The flavors were authentic and flavorful without being overly Americanized. The pork curry was absolutely delicious and is definitely a must-order. I also got the tea leaf salad and immediately wished I had ordered the large because you can never have enough tea leaf salad. The palata was a great starter -- flaky, warm, and exactly what you'd want. The miso black cod was another standout. The broth it was simmered in was incredibly flavorful, and the fish was perfectly cooked. The garlic noodles were also done really well with the right noodles and great flavor -- honestly better than some places known specifically for garlic noodles. And of course, the coconut rice is always worth ordering. We skipped dessert since nothing really stood out, but I would love to see them add more traditional Burmese desserts like faluda in the future. Parking wasn't too difficult, especially if you circle around the back neighborhood area. The wait was reasonable, the outdoor patio seating was nice, and the service was attentive throughout the meal. Definitely a spot I'd come back to when craving Burmese food.

I've had the tea leaf salad and BBQ pork garlic noodles. I sadly can no longer eat red meat but the BBQ pork was delicious and the garlic noodles were not overly greasy. I forgot to also include that the tea leaf salad here is one of the best I've had! My coworker that I brought there last year had never had Burmese food and I had her try the Tea Leaf Salad (my personal favourite) and she loved it and insisted that was the best salad she's ever had. We're from the South so our palette is different, lol. This place also has a lot of fusion dishes and is very friendly to vegans and vegetarians. This is very important for me due to dietary restrictions. The restaurant was very clean, the decoration was cute and the owner's daughter was incredibly kind. She told us that her mother's recipes were used for the restaurant. I'll be bringing my partner and other friends here when we have time. The only issue is the parking. Parking is insanely frustrating in this area but this place is worth it. Just carpool together and go! The owner's daughter also has a really good memory since we couldn't come back for several months and she still remembered us and our request for ube cheesecake, lol. Edit: Oops, I meant original owner's daughter. I'm not sure if she's the owner now or her mom. Either way, the food is great and service is always kind. It feels especially kind when owners of the business are passionate about their food and encourage their customers! I found the pictures and uploaded them (oops, it was from 2024 not last year too).

For take out I only order two things - A9 Fried Chicken Wings; crispy and done very well but they used to give you six and now only four for the same price. And fresh spring rolls. Neither have I ever been disappointed by. When I sit down I only order one thing - #1 House Special Combination Pho. Unfortunately prices have gone up considerably but that is the case with every restaurant in Marin and the Bay Area as a whole. Pho is perfect for when it is cold, you feel run down or are hung over. When it comes to Pho, broth is most important followed by how generous and fresh the meat portions and then the noodles. VN Noodle has satisfying broth and I have yet to be disappointed by the portions and freshness. Pho Viet is a very close second. Four stars because this is good Pho, not great Pho (no where in Marin has great Pho, or great Asian food in general. Sorely lacking for such an affluent area. Marin needs a Ranch 99 or HMart as well). $20 for a decent bowl of pho is quite a lot. The ambiance is so so and the service can vary depending on the visit. Still this is probably your best bet for Vietnamese food in Marin County. Parking is good and you don't have to wait long for your food.
