This company shares the same taxi dispatch as another taxi service that I called. This is what happened to me with Yellow Cab:
I had a terrible experience with this taxi service. I booked the taxi two days in advance. Forty minutes before the scheduled pickup, I called to confirm and was told the taxi would arrive in 10-15 minutes. Half an hour later, the taxi didn't show up. Called again and learned that, not only my confirmation order was not in the system, but the reservation I made two days ago was not in the system either. She asked if I would like to order the taxi now, I had no choice but to say yes. She said the taxi would arrive in 10-15 minutes. 20 minutes later, I called and again was told that the taxi would arrive in 10-15 minutes!!! Desperately, we begged a kind stranger to give us a ride and we were one hour late for our appointment.
The lessons we learned were:
1. When they say "your order is not in the system" or "the taxi will arrive in 10-15 minutes", they are just lying through their teeth.
2. Finding a random taxi service from the internet is NOT a good idea.
3. A better way is to call your hotel, and have them recommend a reliable taxi service.
4. There are multiple telephone numbers associated with this taxi dispatch, so be careful, it might operate under a different company name and number but offer the same lousy service. read more
