We used Uride for a weekend in Indio for Powertrip, were delighted with the service, and would highly recommend to others! We were a group of 9 arriving at LAX from the UK & Boston and wanted to spend 3 or 4 hours seeing a couple of sights and visiting a few bars on Sunset Strip before heading over to Indio. Jamar provided a price for the Indio leg and an hourly rate for the intervening time and this enabled us to leave our luggage on the bus while we ate & drank. He also told us that for the big festivals they relocate to Indio so we then arranged for various pickups over the weekend, from house to restaurants/bars, later pickup to travel onto the venue and then pickup in the early hours (with a very welcome cool box with beer & water!) to go back to the house. We then had a return trip to LAX via the Hollywood hills, with a recommended & much appreciated stop at In-n-out burger for lunch on the way. At all times we found Jamar, Cecy and co to be friendly, helpful & flexible and the fact we were able to use them in Indio was a spectacular success as we were spared the hassle of trying to arrange taxis for 9 people at the various times we needed transport. Jamar, the driver and owner of U Ride , gave us, a total of 9 people, the best shuttle service for a very reasonable price between LAX and Long Beach Carnival Cruise Ship terminal. When I asked for the quotation, he responded to it promptly and gave me very precise pick up details such as pictures and location at LAX airport and cruise ship terminal. On our arrival, he waited around the airport ahead of our arrival time, waiting to pick us up. The vehicle condition is good and comfortable. When we finished our cruise and messaged him, we found out he was already standing right outside the cruise terminal exit, waiting to pick us up. Excellent experience and our driver Cecilia was AMAZING! Booking the ride was fast, easy and can be done totally on the website. The cost was in line and cheaper than some of the other highly rated rides services in Los Angeles. We needed a 3 AM pick up from a hotel in Mid-Town LA to LAX for two people and eight pieces of large luggage, and the process couldn't have gone more smoothly. Cecilia, our driver text me 30 minutes before PickUp to let me know she was on her way and helped load unload and even get our luggage into the terminal at LAX. Would absolutely use again and recommend to anyone looking for a ride, Service. The only suggestion I would make is in regards to tipping. Since there's no way to add gratuity when booking, and I rarely carry cash, y'all need a way to allow cards to be run at the end of service instead of asking the driver to relay how much gratuity to charge to the card used when placing the original reservation. read more

Excellent, friendly service during our Los Angeles vacation! Mr. Daniel was already waiting when we arrived at the airport and graciously loaded our over-sized suitcases. He was friendly, and made sure we were comfortable during our ride, including the music selection in the car. At our destination, he unloaded our luggage as close as possible to the hotel door. Because of our great experience upon arriving to LA, we booked a return trip with Uride back to the airport at the end of our stay. Ms. Cecilia arrived early to our hotel and also graciously loaded and unloaded our oversized suitcases. She had great travel pointers for the next time we fly in our out of L.A. Travelling alone, with two cats plus luggage, our driver, Jamar, was extremely helpful and went well beyond the normal service to assist on the journey - all the way to the check-in desk. He also helped by talking with airline representatives to make sure that all regulations were met regarding the cats transportation. Jamar also helped when collecting documentation at USDA office and waited patiently throughout the process, despite the difficult Covid restrictions in place. Nothing seemed to be 'too much trouble' for him. I will definitely rely on Jamar's services in my future travels within LA/Riverside area. They were there waiting for us when we arrived at LAX to take us to our hotel, then organised a personal tour of the LA sights we wanted to see, on our trip from LA down to Disneyland. Needed a ride out of LAX to Beaumont, CA and Uride was the ticket! Jamar contacted me to make sure all was well before he met me at the LAX terminal. Glad he did as my flight was late arriving due to weather out of Australia. Lots of snarling taxis fighting to get a spot in the white zone but I picked out Jamar's Lincoln quickly. We were out of that jungle faster than Tarzan swings from tree to tree. We had to go 90 or so miles to the destination but ran into a bit of a snag finding out that the i10 fwy was temp closed about 7 or so miles away from LAX but Jamar did a great navigation around it quickly and back on the fwy we came.
