I told Fria that I got a natural set of lashes (every other lash had an extension) and that I wanted a fuller look. After explaining to her what I wanted, she knew exactly what would fit the built of my lashes. I am so happy how they turned out!!! I was a bit anxious about the adhesive because I had a pretty bad tearing reaction when I got them done in San Francisco. But the adhesive that Fria uses gave me no tearing or sensitivity at all!! Even though I just got my lash extensions done in San Francisco, Fria informed me that most of my lash extensions were grown out and sparse. So she had to remove some of them and it was completely painless! Here is a list to why I gave this place five stars -easy to make an appointment - reasonable prices (also the $119 promotion for any type of lash extensions is a great deal) - the adhesive does not harm or irritate my sensitive eyes - Fria is very quick and gentle on my lashes - clean place - they use faux mink lash extensions that feel so light and comfortable (doesn't even feel like I have them on) - the protection pads they use for my under eyes during application peeled off very easily after I was finished with my session. - My lashes look so natural, full, and are exactly what I wanted. - they tell you what kind of adhesive they use (cyanoacrylate). Unlike the lash extension place in San Francisco who told me they don't give out the name or ingredients used in their adhesive. It has been about 10 minutes since my application and so far I feel no sensitivity. My lashes feel as light as a feather. As opposed to my first set of lashes, which gave me immediate discomfort and a "dry-eye" feeling. If you are ever in San Francisco, don't go to LASH LAb despite their reviews. The Pretty Box gives you the lash extension experience that you should have. No discomfort, lashes that suit your eye shape and lash built, and quick application ( it didn't even take an hour for my full set of lashes). Thank you Fria! I have contacted my bank to be issued a refund. In addition, the fall out was much worse than any ever studio I have ever been to. I'm writing this review as an update because I am forever grateful to Vanessa and her team of experts. Three years ago, I originally went in for scar camouflage for some surgical scars I had that made me very self-conscious because they were on my face & neck. Having them "camouflaged" changed my whole outlook! It made me back into the sociable person I was before! What's also great about Vanessa & their staff is they are all super-positive people & it flows over into everything they do. They all get very excited to see the amazing results their clients get! It's a very uplifting experience every time. If anyone is dealing with scars and doesn't realize there are options, I hope this encourages you to look into it! Vanessa, the owner, did my treatment and her skill and artistry are amazing. What stood out just as much was how kind and compassionate she was throughout the process. Vanessa took the time to explain everything and made sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. Before coming to RPM, I didn't even know scar camouflage for surgical scars was possible! I'm SO grateful to a friend who found Vanessa for me! The results have made such a difference -- she truly helped me feel like myself again. I went for one full session & 3 touchups to get it perfect, but it's PERFECT! She uses a very conservative approach which I appreciated. What she does is truly an art & you never want to rush an artist! And guess what else? I was tired of seeing my husband using "Just For Men" mustache color for his eyebrows & I gently suggested we could do something more permanent & MUCH more natural looking & he agreed to have Vanessa give him permanent brows!
