Had a wonderful pedicure today with Morgan! She was marvelous. I got the Boss pedicure ($55) that comes with paraffin wax, hot stone massage, massage and oil and it was literally heaven!!! I asked her to be very gentle like I was a baby and she did just that. It was so relaxing and her massage was heavenly. Also, Morgan was METICULOUS with making sure my nails were perfect. First time here while on vacation for our anniversary. So glad I came! I didn't have an appointment, but I was taken in right away to get both a pedicure and a nail fill. The entire thing start to finish was a wonderful experience. Patty did my nails and did an excellent job. She is a true artist! I showed her the picture that I wanted, and she more than delivered. Petty did a great job on shaping and painting my nails. I haven't had a manicure in a while so my cuticles were kinda out of control and my nails have lately been shorter than I like, but they still turned out looking great after this manicure. I wanted a spring green color and they had exactly what I was looking for. I decided to get gel this time but I heard they also offer dip. This was the first time I've tried Charm Nails, and the experience was great. They fortunately had space for me as a walk in on a Sunday, and the salon was clean and appeared to have very modern tools, supplies, and decor. I never got to try the salon that was here before, but this one does look better in appearance. Petty was able to finish up with her previous customer and get to me within ten minutes of my arrival. I really appreciated that no one tried to upsell me during the entire experience, either. Not only are the shapes of my nails great, but there's also no visible bumps in the gel, which can sometimes happen with lighter matte colors. Petty was efficient but also paid close attention to detail with each nail. As I mentioned, I haven't had my nails done in a while so I don't know what the average going rate for a gel manicure is, but this one was $45 and I feel like that's pretty fair. I will likely be back here specifically for my next manicure that I get done in La Jolla. read more

I made an appt at 11. At 10:30 I called to confirm my appointment. I called at 10:59a, to say I was on the way- 5 min walking. I wish the salon would have told me the technician wasn't there. No one said hi to me when I walked in. Just check in and take a seat. I understand traffic and parking but just AWFUL customer service, a horrible 1st experience and very unfriendly!!! At 11:05 I asked how long it would be. They told me she was parking. I followed up at 11:16a and was told she was parking. At 11:22... there was still no technician there to do my pedi. At 11:34 I got up and left.. There was plenty of parking in the parking lot and in front of the business. How does it take 23 minutes to find a parking spot? How do you not call the customer and let them know their technician is not there nor mention it when they have the courtesy to tell you they're 5 min behind? Was also filthy and cluttered in there w bugs flying around. Will never return. read more

This place is Incredible! My nails look beautiful and feel so healthy. The service was a 10/10. They were kind, polite and we had such a great conversation. Manicure was exactly what I asked for and they helped me make sure I got exactly what I wanted. They even let me test out a matte top coat but we went with a shiny.
