LADIES DON'T LOOK FURTHER. This is my third time at Garnet Lash and once again I was wowed. I came in as a model for training for lash extensions. But that doesn't change anything on what it says about this studio. As a woman that never does her nails/lashes or treatments, I feel welcomed like a queen every-time I step into this place, and taken care of. If not for the quality, the atmosphere will right away confirm that you've stepped into a place that'll take the best care of you. And it again didn't disappoint. I asked for "cat eye extensions", and have never had my look so beautified before! I even got to learn more about the quality of their products: the eyelash glue was developed by the owner, Danielle, so your lashes resist better to the water, sleeping on your face or other obstacles that usually peel them off. The prices absolutely match the results, and you can be assured that regardless of whom will take care of you, any employee there will make it a pleasant experience. Side note: it only took 1h30 for the lashes you see in the photo. My lashes look so natural, and three days later I can assure you that they still look as beautiful, from an to pm. Visiting from out of town and needed a lash refill. Found this place and realized I went to the Monterey location when I was in a bind there! Let me just start by saying: I've never had lash extensions. I've always been a strip girl, black lash glue and it has worked for me. However, I was about to go on a family vacation and I didn't want to spend an additional 20+ minutes in the mirror applying lashes for adventures. So I took the leap to get extensions, and I am SO happy that I did. I found Gabby on Instagram and I saw all the wonderful work she did, and it turns out she was only a couple blocks away from me at Garnet Lash Studio. What could be more perfect? When I arrived it was so bright and clean in there. An assortment of merchandise and lash care readily available for purchasing I fell in love. On top of that, the staff greeted me and made me feel so loved and welcome I couldn't wait to get in there and be pampered. I consulted with Gabby and she already knew the look I was going for. I showed her my Instagram and she said "I got you girlie!" She was very informative about lash care and explained what she was going to do to achieve the style I wanted. Although I had ripped out many natural lashes from those strips, that girl did an AMAZING transformation. Gabby put her magic on me with these lashes and they held through the entire vacation. Top down car rides, boats, salt water, wind, rain, humidity, sleeping on my face (which I also know is a no-no) and they looked like new coming home 10 days later. I told myself "it's just for the vacation, I'll go back to strips once they fall out." Guess what? I went back in for a fill with Gabby because I love them THAT much. Gabby and Ladies, Always very welcoming when I walk into the studio and directing me to Gabby lash Oasis. I started coming to Gabby about 2 years ago. We clicked instantly she was very informational when it came to determine what kind of lashes fit my eyes. Also made sure I was very comfortable. Update on my experience at Garnet Lash due to negative experience with the OWNER Danielle: She is unprofessional, rude and down right catty. I've changed my review from an outstanding 5 stars to what I wish could be 0 stars. Danielle's presence is dark and uncomfortable, it is why I will not be returning to garnet lash again. She NEVER wears a mask - and her negative energy, dirty looks, and unpleasant demeanor makes it difficult to even walk in the door. It's like she's woken up on the wrong side of the bed every time I see her. I used to come in for a fill once a week - so spending upwards of $400 a month + buying merchandise you'd think she'd know how to treat loyal customers... One time after I had just spent $78 buying candles, I overheard her mimicking my voice as I walked back for my lash fill. She acts like a child. My issues with Danielle start here: I bought a gift card for a friend through Garnet for a full set, with the intention on having my gf go to my favorite lash artist there - Katy. Danielle made me jump through hoops to have the gift card credited to Katy as she wanted to take the sale for herself. As the owner of a salon making good money off of your lash artists, as well as being a "master lash artist" herself with plenty of clients - she should've just done whatever the customer wanted and transferred the gift card to my desired lash artist. It took months to have this credit sorted out & she hasn't treated me right since. The whole experience was so exhausting ...over a GIFT CARD. I have so much I could say about my experiences with Danielle but I'm sick of the pettiness and negative energy so I'll end this review here - I've decided to cut ties with this salon despite always walking out with bomb ass lashes (Thanks Katy!!) read more
