I decided to get lash extensions done by Jazlyn after a two-year COVID hiatus, and went in for a volume full set and a subsequent fill. Jazlyn's work is second to none -- she understands the assignment every time and executes what I ask for to a T, and I am very picky about my lashes. The lash fans she creates are pristine, and more importantly, some that my natural lashes can handle. She is also extremely thorough with her work and works quickly. On both occasions, I walked out of her studio (which is super nicely decorated, for the record) feeling like a bad bitch, and I've gotten compliments from strangers on my lashes. The only gripe that I have regarding her work is the retention -- the lashes fell out quickly, many of which were not attached to a natural lash, and I found myself needing fills every week and a half or so compared to the two or two-and-a-half weeks I used to go in for pre-pandemic. Also, as much as I know that Jazlyn is not responsible for this/couldn't have known, the lash cleanser she recommended was not compatible with my sensitive eyes at all and I experienced a lot of skin peeling around my eyelids. Overall, Jazlyn is an extremely solid lash artist who produces stunning work, and this review could have been easily been a five-star one if she (maybe?) switched up her glue. I moved recently and can unfortunately no longer be a client of hers for the time being, but I would recommend her to anyone in the San Diego area. read more

The area where Jazlyn works is cute, prices are comparable to other places I looked into. I am newer to SD so was looking for a person out here that was available before Halloween. When she finished my lashes they looked nice HOWEVER by the next morning I noticed a bunch of lashes all over the place. I told her and she was willing to touch up the lashes.
