Darlene is phenomenal. Hands down, best lash gal I have ever had. I am currently 24 weeks pregnant, and I have no issues getting my lashes done and filled with her because she makes sure I am comfortable and well taken care of during my appointments. All her clients sit in a massage chair during their session and it's been so nice to feel pampered while getting your lashes done. She's got a gentle touch, and such a beautiful personality. I feel so valued as her client which is major. But the crème de la crème is that these lashes are of such good quality. They last a long while and the lash glue can withstand a lot. I went to Hawaii when it was stormy out, I snorkeled, and sweat a bunch from the humidity - but these babies stayed on so well. Darlene also does an amazing job to make sure they don't tug, pull, or annoy your natural lashes. I've never had extensions that were so comfortable I've forgotten they're even on! I would recommend her to anyone - no hesitation. She is soo worth it read more

I took my girlfriend here as a surprise after over hearing a recommendation conversation in the elevator at work. I have to say my lady was impressed! It's been well over a week and her lashes still look fresh! I definitely says it's well worth it, especially seeing her unhappy with previous stylists. As the previous reviews imply, they're definitely perfectionists there and make sure that their work speaks for themselves. Plus she says the girls there are friendly and down to earth. Now to look for a spa to take her to next... read more

My first hybrid full set with Darlene exceeded my expectations! I've gotten extensions done at many places over the years. I always go for a hybrid set, D curl and I *ask* for long length (I'm comfortable at 15 mm) and this was without a doubt the best set I've received. Because it was my first time at HD Lash, I showed pictures for reference with the same eye shape as mine, and she made the picture come to life, but even better! She was very nice and genuine and the space was comfortable and clean! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a fill due to getting sick but next time I will definitely be taking advantage of the membership that's an unheard of deal! My lashes lasted a full 3 weeks looking amazing and that's an understatement! I have raved about Darlene to my family, friends, and coworkers, she's worth every penny! read more

I decided to try lash extensions for my wedding in two weeks. I had friends who've been getting their lashes done by Darlene, and so I decided to give it a shot. It was my first time so I wasn't sure on what I wanted, volume or classic. She showed me pictures and asked me what I was looking for to make sure I got what I wanted. You barely feel anything getting them done! She seriously had a soft gentle touch. I also got my brows threaded at the last minute. Threading usually hurts (which is expected), but since she has a gentle touch, it didn't hurt at all and I wasn't even red after. I booked my next lash fill appointment and also plan to get my brows done again in two weeks! read more

My experience with Darlene has been amazing. I was getting an allergic reaction so something I didn't know what maybe the glue I wasn't sure. I talked to Darlene and just like a doctor she asked questions until I found out I wasn't allergic to anything but the previous applications where not right. She is meticulous and a perfectionist. She will not just give you lashes she will teach you how to take care of them to make them last longer. I absolutely love her. This was the first time I got my lashes done and I have to say I am addicted to it. Giselle was the lash artist who put my extensions in and she was super sweet and very professional. I got the hybrid set and she really searched and searched for every lash during the 2 hour appt. I was hesitant about putting extensions in cause I thought they were going to feel heavy like false lashes, but you can't feel them at all. I'm so glad I decided to get them cause being 5 months pregnant with a 3 year old boy I am one tired momma to keep putting make up on. read more

I couldn't be happier with my lashes. I wanted a more natural look but with amazing length. I didn't know what to do, but trusted Darlene to make magic happen and she did! I've gotten so many compliments because people think they are real...secrets out Yelp, they're not! read more

I had never gotten eyelash extensions before, always had fake eyelashes( glued them on). I would always see the eyelash extensions online or friends had them done at other places and I didn't really like the way they looked too much. I saw a video on Facebook on HD Lash and I decided to try HD Lash extensions for my first time, I am so glad that I came here. Giselle is very sweet and knows what the customer wants, she makes sure that you are comfortable at all times since you do lay for a couple of hours. Giselle Makes sure she takes her time to make your lashes look fabulous and will not rush on them, She has stayed a bit longer to make sure my lashes look good. I found Darlene (HD Lash) on Facebook. I checked out the website and sent her a message via FB Messenger. She asked questions in regards to having lash extensions previously and she sent a link to make an appointment. I received an appointment reminder via email and text a few days before my appointment. I also received clear instructions about cleaning your lashes before your appointment and directions to her place. The parking was convenient. FYI - Horton Plaza does charge $8 an hour and $2 for every 15 minutes. If you are planning on a full set of lashes, the appointment will take 2.5 hours. A refill of lashes is usually 90 minutes. The street parking will accommodate the refill appointment. I went in for a Full Volume Classic but left with a Full Hybrid. I loved my lashes. The environment was very soothing. She had great relaxing music. I definitely fell asleep a few times during my appointment. Darlene also gives you clear instructions to take care of your new lashes and follows up as well. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. I have a follow up appointment soon. read more
