Vanessa is professional and really knows her business. She did a great job with my lashes, and I can't wait to continue to work with her. The products she used are superior to what I have been used to the last five years, and my normally dry eyes did NOT react negatively to the products as they usually do! I would highly recommend Vanessa for lashes! read more

I love Lazaren! She is amazing and such a beautiful soul inside and out! Lazaren is an amazingly talented woman and extremely professional. When I first got my first eyebrow lamination + tint/facial & microblade. I thought it would be a one-time thing, and here I am running back to her! There has not been one time I've walked out unhappy. She explains every detail clearly on any aftercare and it's so helpful! My skin is glowing and my brows are thicker than ever! I visited Jordyn for my first time getting extensions and I'm obsessed!!! She was the absolute sweetest in calming my nerves by explaining how everything worked to me (from what she was doing to the post care). Weeks later - my lashes still look incredible and my face feels brighter. Thank you Jordyn!! Cannot wait for the next appointment! PS. Check out her Instagram for the different sets. It helped me a ton in deciding what look I wanted! @lashesbyjordyn_ :) read more

Although my stylist was super kind and absolutely lovely, my lashes did fall off a generous amount just after 2-3 days. She was kind enough to say she'd re do them for a $100 off discount, but I don't think I'd go again. I would say save the money and do more research for your lashes. The price does not equate the value in my opinion. read more

Laz saved my skin! I wish I could give her 10 stars, I had such bad acne when I first saw her and after numerous appointments my acne and scarring started to clear. I have been getting facials since I was a young teenager and she is by far the best esthetician I have ever seen. read more

Wonderful experience with Jess. Will be coming to her form now on for my classic refills. Thanks, Jess.

I never leave reviews, but this was a must! Gabrielle makes you feel relaxed, like you're hanging out with a close friend. She proactively asks for feedback, sends thoughtful reminders between appointments and goes above & beyond to try to provide a spot in her busy schedule. She rehabilitated my natural lashes without compromising the beauty and style of hybrid extensions. I would recommend her over and over again! read more

I have been going to Gabby for over three years now and I will never go to anyone else. Her work is immaculate, the lashes are such high quality, last so much better than anywhere i've gone previously, and she is the sweetest person. The appointments go by so fast because she makes sure you are so comfortable and she is so easy to talk to. Highly reccomend Gabby!! read more

Love Gabrielle - she is a lash WIZARD. So good at what she does, and my lashes always look amazing when the fill is complete. I am a big contender on "you get what you pay for" and you pay for quality here! So happy with my lashes and so happy I found her in PB. Would highly recommend! :) read more

Jess is the absolute BEST. I've been going to her for a year now (maybe more) and she's not only the sweetest but one of the best artists out there. Before her, I was going to lash girls left and right and not one person was able to achieve the perfect set with incredible technique like she has. I cannot recommend her enough! read more

Such a cute location for lashes! Very relaxing vibe, music and scenery. I've been to other places for lashes that have a very different vibe and very welcoming. I felt at home at Garnet Lash, but other places I have felt that awkward feeling like going to the doctors office. I go to Gabby @elle_isfor_lashes! She is amazing. I usually feel awkward going to different appointments but gabby always makes me feel super comfortable! Some people take "lash naps" but we just talk the whole time which is awesome! She makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed when she does my lashes, and I always leave feeling like a million bucks! It's good to know that she cares about your eyelashes as well. She does very careful placement and I definitely prefer her products over other lash studios. Fitness is my life and it's important to me that these lashes will hold on through all the sweat! Not to mention, I wake up extremely early for training bootcamps and clients, so these lashes make my morning routine so much quicker! read more

If I could give this girl 100 stars I would. Gabby is AMAZING. I've had my lashes done for 10 years and I've never had an artist as talented as Gabby. Her application is unique to meet your desired look and what will look best on your eyes. I have been blown away by her work every time. On top of her breath taking lash work, she is one of the kindest and sweetest human beings I've ever met. I booked an appointment with Gabrielle after seeing several artists in the past and she is HANDS DOWN the best I have ever been to. I came in with extensions that I wasn't very happy with; my eyes were itching and hurting from poorly placed lashes and my natural lashes were in poor shape. She walked me thru everything and I have never felt more comfortable and relaxed in a studio. I started using Lash Food and I couldn't believe how healthy and strong my natural lashes became and then my next appointment Gabrielle placed the most beautiful lashes that felt extremely comfortable and natural. I could not be happier that I randomly came across her at Garnet Lash studio! read more

Gabrielle is my favorite. I initially came fo Garnet lash because I had to have an emergency appointment the day before New Year's Eve, and garnet lash was able to fit me in their schedule on the whim (I think due to pity) but it was so kind. When I arrived, the workers freaked out completely because of the visible damage done to my lashes and the amount of real lashes that were missing, and the extremely improper method of gluing huge fans onto multiple lashes and sometimes only one singular real lashes of mine. They were scared to work with me. Out of the kindness of Gabrielle's heart, and after much deliberation, she took me under her wing because she genuinely wanted to help me. I have not looked back since, and now it's March! Gabrielle has transformed my lashes into something much more natural and complimentary to my look. She ensures that the way she goes about applying the lashes is healthy, and I have visibly watched my poor lashes grow since seeing Gabrielle. I also receive compliments on my lashes now. I am so thankful to have found an angel after experiencing such terrible service without knowing, words cannot describe! With that being said, Gabrielle does lashes FULL-TIME now so DO NOT hesitate to book with her! I will add photos shortly. read more

My lash artist is Gabrielle and I am obsessed!! My lashes are perfect every single time. I get the Classic set and they look FIRE. Gabrielle is an incredibly talented artist! I am so in love with my lashes, she made my dream come true! She is extremely friendly and so easy to talk to. + Excellent lash artists. Had appointments with both Tishelle and Rachel and they were very good and really sweet to spend time locked in a room with! + Great results - this was my first time getting lash extensions and I loved them. Bring a picture of what you want, if you can. + Pleasant atmosphere and vibe. + Friendly receptionist. + Easy online booking system that shows you the available times for different artists. + Discounts available through Yelp (Either 50% off a full set or $5 off if you check in). - It is expensive! They have different tiers of prices, depending on whether you book with a master, expert or an apprentice. I initially booked a full set with an apprentice for about $120 but she ended up graduating to expert by the time my appointment rolled around (they honored the apprentice price which was cool). Note that they don't always have apprentices so those prices won't be offered obviously. I also did two refills at $90 each (set price, as far as I can recall). You have to book your re-fill appointment within 3 weeks otherwise it will be considered a new set at full price. In the end, I decided it was just too expensive for me to continue. - Street parking only which can be a pain, depending on what time you arrive. **They offer to remove your lashes for you (if you decide you don't want to keep them) but you can also just let them fall out. Mine were completely gone by 3 weeks. During the last week, I did use a bunch of oil on the lids to try to loosen the adhesive.** read more

I know a lot of people start these off with "I never write reviews, but..." BUT seriously, I literally *never* write reviews. As the old adage goes, "never say never." I have short, fine, basically nonexistent lashes, that I have tortured through daily curling, priming and mascara-ing. I also have large eyes that are shallow set and so I wasn't sure how lash extensions would look (crazy eyes?), but I've always been intrigued and because I have a fun vacation coming up, I thought I would treat myself. After trying another studio in the area that was not amazing, I took to Yelp to see what other options were out there. I was drawn to Garnet Lash because of the volume of positive reviews/rankings--so I read through pages of write-ups and decided to book with Gabrielle, who thankfully had availability right before I was heading out of town. Everything that everyone has written about Gabrielle is 1000% true (and this is coming from a VERY skeptical New Yorker). She took the time to talk to me about what I wanted--natural with more volume, but nothing crazy. She showed me the missteps that the previous artist took (too much glue, not the right length or care in application) and proceeded to take 2 hours (!!) to apply a customized full set of lashes that I'm now obsessed with. She was kind and positive and made me feel so comfortable I *fell asleep* and woke up to exactly what I'd been hoping for. Later that day, quite a few lashes fell out after a brushing and I texted Gabrielle to see if that was normal. She replied *immediately* that because of how fine my natural lashes are, the shedding would be more than usual (alas), but that I could stop in the next day and she could refill them a bit. I went back in and she spent another 30 minutes adding back in the lost lashes, generously squeezing me in to her busy schedule. It's true when they say "you get what you pay for" and I'm so pleased to have made this investment in myself. I can see why Gabrielle has such a loyal client list--as a PR professional I know the value of a bright disposition, confident expertise, and personal approachability. While I now know that I need to strengthen my natural lashes (she provided tips for that too!) in order to make extensions really last for me, I'm happy to have started my "lash journey" with Gabrielle. Even if this is just a "special occasion" experience, I will be going back to Gabrielle for each and every one. read more

I booked an appointment with Gabrielle, and I have to just say... WOW. I got there and the first thing we did was spend a solid ten minutes talking about what I wanted. I don't typically wear makeup, so I wanted my lashes to look naturally full, but not like I was trying to be at the club from sun up to sun down. She suggested we try extensions that weren't too long, that would look like I had a nice light coast of mascara on for the day. She set me up for my two hour nap (because that's what you get on your first appointment--2 hours of laying down, eyes closed and comfy) and got to work. She asked me frequently if I was doing alright, if my eyes were tolerating the adhesive and if I was bothered by any of the tools. I was extremely comfortable and had zero reservations about telling her if I needed something adjusted. She wanted to make sure I got what I wanted and that I enjoyed my rest (big deal for this Mama of two!). I left the studio so excited, and feeling absolutely gorgeous. My lashes are soft and fluffy, and I don't feel like I'm walking around overdone. My experience was worth every minute and every penny. Fast forward to three days later, and I get a text from Gabrielle asking me if I'm still loving my lashes. Emphatically, yes! read more

I've never used strip eyelashes or gotten eyelash extensions. I have very short, thin eyelashes. I've always hated them, and I've tried to use different kinds of mascara and curl them, but nothing helps. Finally, I decided to look into eyelash extensions. Emily did mine, and I am absolutely in love with them! I cannot stop sending pictures of my eyelashes to my friends and telling them how they need to get them done. I still feel like they look natural-looking, but they're much fuller, longer, and beautiful. Today, I didn't even wear make-up to work because I feel like the effect of my eyelashes is enough. Usually, I wear a lot of eyeliner to "wake up" my eyes. I am definitely going back! Aside from the results, the experience was pleasant. The spa was modern, clean, and comfortable. The first appointment can be long - mine was about 2.5 hours. I fell asleep for most of it though! I also had no problems with irritation, redness, or other adverse reactions. I highly recommend Garnet Day Spa! ETA: It's been two weeks. After following their instructions on proper care, not touching, etc., my eye lashes still look pretty good. Of course, few have fallen out as natural eyelashes go through a natural shedding process, but most of them are still intact. I was going to wait 3 weeks to get them filled, but I think I'd recommend 2-2.5 weeks for best results. read more

I was referred to Garnet Day Spa by a good friend and have never regretted walking through the door! I started getting my lashes here in 2012 when it was Spa by the Sea and continue to do so to this day! Danielle (the owner) is a sweetheart and a true professional. The spa itself is beautiful. It is always clean and tidy and it just feels warm and inviting. The staff is always courteous, friendly and helpful. There is always plenty of availability and they really work with your schedule. You can call, text, or go online to make an appointment. The experience itself is relaxing and the staff always does their best to ensure that the process is comfortable. That being said it is always a good idea to speak up if anything feels wrong. I wear contacts and always let the lash technicians know that my eyes are sensitive and they make adjustments if I mention anything. If you have sensitive eyes like me you might want to take your contacts out (at least the first few times) but it's not necessary. Also, if it is your first time (I get the faux mink) and you aren't sure how long or thick you would like your lashes I would err on the side of caution and request a natural look. I know you are paying for lashes so you might want dramatic but the faux mink are pretty thick and dramatic to begin with so asking for a natural look is actually the best way to go. When you get fills you can always ask for a little more drama but if you get dramatic from the start you might be shocked. Also, the first few times you go your eyes might experience a little redness. This happened to me the first 2 times I went but it went away after a few days and I think my eyes have adjusted because it hasn't happened since. If you are planning to do this for a special event you might want to try it a couple of times beforehand to ensure you don't have an allergic reaction. You wouldn't get a microdermabrasion the day of or day before your wedding/engagement pics so you prob shouldn't do this the day of/before either! All in all, this is hands down the place to go for lashes! My lashes look amazing, I cannot rave enough about how great they look and the overall experience. You will love your lashes and be hooked forever. Don't be surprised if people stop you at work/on the street/in the store/at the gym/on the trolley and say you have the most amazing lashes (all of these have actually happened to me)! read more

Only giving this place 2 stars because the customer service here was great. I typically get my lashes down in north county, but I wasn't able to see my usual lady this time, so I tried Garnet lashes out. I laid down for two whole hours with my lashes barely look great. The lady I usually go to takes less than one hour and makes me look like I have falsies applied. My lashes didn't even look done when I walked out of garnet. To make it worse, it's been a little more than two weeks and most of my lashes fell off. The lady I usually go to is so good that my eyelashes are nice and full for at least one month. I'm so disappointed I wasted $120 here. Don't waste your time and money. UPDATE: I reached out to the studio and let them know about how quickly my lashes fell out, and instead of owning up to them maybe doing a bad job, I was told that it's just because it's Fall and we shed a lot during this season. LOL. Please. This didn't happen to me last year with my former salon! Ridiculous! read more

She talked me through everything that I should expect during and after the process. She explained to me how to properly care for my lashes and extend their life.
