Small waiting room but multiple sturdy chairs Mari did a great job. Great bedside manner. Came back Wednesday. The person didn't have the best bedside manner. No name tag or badge. Was unable to get all of the blood so she called Mari in to help. The original girl came back to label the blood. They had me sign a piece of paper saying that the blood was labeled in front of me, but then didn't finish labeling the blood in front of me. So that was a little weird. During my overextended stay in San Diego while helping my friend, I had to continue my self care and have had lab work done at this Hillcrest location which is next to Scripps Mercy Medical Center. Subterranean parking is available, convenient but for a fee and not validated by the lab. Quest Diagnostics had all my info already and the online appointment system makes things easy with less paperwork. After scheduling my appointment, go into the lab, check in using their kiosk and within minutes, the lab tech calls my name. The lab techs are professional, they have the surfaces clean and wear gloves. They sterilize instruments and my arm before the Jab which I cannot watch as I am very squeamish and might faint if I see all the amount of blood they draw out...Ouch! yikes!! I do wish they would have early morning appointments because when appointments are not until mid afternoon, the long stretch of fasting can make me weak and faint. Recently my health had diminished from some unexplainable reasons and hence lab work was needed and sometimes retested to determine accuracy. After multiple lab work results, nothing alarming resulted so, I am relieved and less worried, about my health but still feel fragile. Quest Diagnostics does get super busy, but they are organized, make an appointment to get expeditious service. Recommend

As soon as I walked in to the office I was greeted by a very friendly and sweet receptionist (sorry I forgot her name). The office is very nice, clean and calm. I immediately felt at ease and relaxed. The receptionist checked me in right away and explained everything thoroughly. She showed me where the water & restroom were and made sure that I was comfortable. I don't remember if I actually waited to be escorted back to the exam room. The office has a very organized system and it was all very quick. I waited in the exam room less than 3 minutes for Dr G to see me. He introduced himself and explained everything in detail about what he would be doing and what acupuncture is and does for the pain. The room was very soothing and quiet. The sounds overhead were like being at the beach listening to the waves and seagulls, it was soothing and calming. I'm usually very anxious and have trouble relaxing but he made sure that I was okay before he started. Dr G is very patient and professional. He walked me through every step of the process. After the needle placement he went over everything and made sure I was good before he left the room. I haven't been this relaxed in a long time. I think I fell asleep for a few minutes. I came here for wrist & trigger finger pain treatment and I'm so glad that I did! Not only was this super relaxing and easy but from this first session I felt relief. After the treatment Dr G stepped in cleared my hand, massaged it a little and asked how I was feeling. He made sure I was doing well before he sent me off. I wish I had done this before with other issues I had on my left hand. Every time I leave I think to myself that I can't wait to come back. I highly recommend Center for Integrative Care and Dr G! I Absolutely love it here & I plan on returning even after my approved sessions are done. Excellent job to all the staff.

This is a great place!…read more I was originally scheduled for three different appointments in different weeks in December which is a real inconvenience for me walking 20 minutes back-and-forth to the clinic on 4060 Fairmont Ave. When I checked in I was delighted that MEAZA, The x-ray specialist said we could do it all that afternoon! She is ultra professional, when I asked questions she told me what was going on, and I couldn't ask for better service. Also, I want to shout out some prayers for the office staff who made it very easy to sign in and check my insurance. Those were three young woman Maria, Roberta, and Priscilla.

I explained that I wasn't at fault. They hung up. I looked them up on yelp, and there I found out that they had many of problems with customers that generated a 2.7 ranking. In fact I have never come across such poor reviews for any business. They are very unprofessional. Now, they are an affiliate of Kaiser Permanente, an HMO Medical Group, an excellent health care provider, known for the dedication and professionalism of the their doctors, nurses, and technicians. P.S if you are getting your blood drawn and have a Quest appointment, go inside the doors, head towards the elevator and it tells you which floor to go to by doctors' name! There is also a note inside the elevator on which floor you are supposed to go to. Go through the door next to the elevator, Quest is not the first lobby you see! Go through the big door and follow the signs!

SDI now adds an additional lobby "wait line" marked by an unstaffed podium. Prepare to wait in line with other ill, disabled patients & family 5 to 10 min just to check in -- after you arrive at lobby! Reception staff always on the run, answering phones, faxing results, checking in pts, "I'll be right with you . . ." Formerly welcoming, they're now overworked, stressed -- "just business . . ." Pts/family see what's happened and try to be helpful. SDI customer service now crippled by unhelpful, unwise, purposeful degradation of reception service -- to add to already rich SDI profits? Sick patients/family coming for help should not have to help SDI staff to be able to function comfortably at their jobs and to work in a pleasant healthcare work environment. One can only hope SDI Administrators and Physicians take note . . . At some point pts and MD referrers will vote with their feet!
