It had all the luxuries of a hotel (Smart TV with Netflix, coffee/tea maker, super clean, refrigerator in ou- most of our hotels didn't even have one, etc.) plus more! We were greeted by Dan who was extremely welcoming and very very helpful. He helped us plan our early airport trip and even helped us call our rental car company to arrange early drop-off. He also made us food to take with us in the morning. He then gave us all the data we needed to know about local pubs and restaurants which made it super easy for us. The place itself is super charming. But the thing that I liked is that it doesn't give off that "old and antiquated" feel. It looks like the whole place was renovated recently and that it's really well taken care of. We also were provided with snacks and water, which was a very nice touch. I told my husband that I wished we stayed here the first night we arrived because it definitely would give a fantastic first impression of Dublin/Ireland. It was just a nap and shower stop. We took Bus H1 from zone 16. It took about 15 min to arrive to the hotel. Check In was fast. We were given a room upstairs. They don't have elevators, so you will have to take your luggage up via the stairs. The room was small. It is dated, but clean and appropriate for one night or a quick stop. The room stays pretty cool with the windows open, but if you close the windows, it can get hot.

I understand why homeless people would rather sleep rough, reported a theft of item that was recovered then got silent treatment, though I was right to report it, stay away from my stuff sbag who took it and the lot of them are scum. The staff are very attentive and there is parking (just dont forget to get your ticket validated before you leave). The lounge has big comfy seats and is very cosy, they also do a good carvery every day (although if you are staying there I believe the food stops at about 9pm so make sure you eat before that). I had a beautiful veggy soup with brown bread for lunch there yesterday and it was light and tasty but just what I needed to fill me up. This place gets a thumbs up from me!

Positive Things: - close to the airport - friendly staff members Negative Things: - Shuttle - no fixed shuttle time. all you are told is, it runs every 25 minutes. So don't go out at 7am expecting the shuttle will be there. We left our room at 5:15am, as we went down, the shuttle was there(full) and thankfully we were able to get on after checking out. Make sure to take the right shuttle, as they have to hotels, 2 separate shuttles. - Elevator - they only have three, we came back from Circle K after dinner and there were like 40 people waiting to go up, we ended up taking the stairs. - no AC, yes, NO AC.

The lobby was nice with some seating and a water refill station. It also has a restaurant. The rooms were clean but basic. It was a little odd to have a table, but no chairs to sit at the table. It also had a desk with one chair and an arm chair to sit in. It had a coffee tea station, and also some cookies. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was nice. It had a rain, head shower. The front desk staff were excellent. They answered some of our questions and were helpful with directions. They also were able to replenish the tea in the morning before we had to check out. It was a little expensive for an airport hotel.

The home had a lovely and welcoming feel. When we stayed, there was one other party, some German ladies on holiday. We talked about Ireland in broken German and English, which was fun. The B&B was located close to a botanical garden, which was perfect for a morning walk. The location was easy to navigate too, with busses to the city and easy to access public transportation.
