We stayed here on the last night of our 11 day Ireland and Scotland honeymoon. We had stayed in a different place every night of the trip so at this point we've seen every kind of B&B, lodge and hotel. This one was definitely top of our list. Especially for a B&B! It had all the luxuries of a hotel (Smart TV with Netflix, coffee/tea maker, super clean, refrigerator in ou- most of our hotels didn't even have one, etc.) plus more! We were greeted by Dan who was extremely welcoming and very very helpful. He helped us plan our early airport trip and even helped us call our rental car company to arrange early drop-off. He also made us food to take with us in the morning. He then gave us all the data we needed to know about local pubs and restaurants which made it super easy for us.
The place itself is super charming. But the thing that I liked is that it doesn't give off that "old and antiquated" feel. It looks like the whole place was renovated recently and that it's really well taken care of. We also were provided with snacks and water, which was a very nice touch.
I told my husband that I wished we stayed here the first night we arrived because it definitely would give a fantastic first impression of Dublin/Ireland. Great place, would definitely recommend to anyone coming here! read more
