Rigo was my main contact, and he was so friendly, caring, and incredibly easy to communicate with. Our venue had very poor cell service, which made coordinating a surprise performance a bit tricky--but Rigo went above and beyond. He even called ahead of time to make sure he had the exact location and understood where he needed to be so everything would go smoothly. Despite the challenges, they showed up right on time, patiently waited for the perfect moment, and completely made the bride's day. It was such a special surprise, and they executed it flawlessly. On top of that, they played an extra song so the couple could have a first dance moment--which wasn't even planned--and it ended up being one of the most memorable parts of the night. We will absolutely be hiring Rigo and the group again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

They didn't just say yes, they nailed it. Hearing that melody played on trumpets, violins, and guitars brought my wife and me close to tears, and our guests who recognized it were blown away. All they asked was that we send the request a little ahead of time, which was completely fair for a custom piece. They also went above and beyond on logistics. Our ceremony lawn sits up a hill, and they hiked up with all their instruments without a single complaint, then played like they'd been standing there all day. Professional, warm, and incredibly talented.

They had me a sign a contract and took the deposit money in person which not a lot of Mariachi's do. Some I have found out they want you to Zelle the deposit, I honestly don't feel comfortable to Zelle money to someone I don't even know. It's not a $25 deposit we are talking about. So when they said the meeting would be in person I was all for it. The day of the party came and they called me ahead of time to let me know they were running a few minutes behind. To me this was surprising because they were only 5 minutes late and that wasn't a problem. But I loved how they communicated every step of the way. Equally important was the performance. My husband enjoyed their music. The guests had nothing but good phrases to say about their music. Ppl were dancing and singing. I highly recommend Mariachi Viajero. Next time I need a Mariachi I know whom I will call.

They send over a sheet with their music selections, you fill out what you want, and send it back about a month before the wedding. One thing I'll say is that the music sounded even better in person than in the samples. So many of our guests commented on how cool it was and how much it added to the atmosphere. For our 2-hour City Hall wedding, it was honestly perfect. It really fills up the space and makes everything feel a lot more grand and special without feeling over the top. Based on their samples and advice from some of our musician friends, we decided to go with the trio for a fuller sound, and I'm really glad we did. I knew exactly that I wanted to walk down the aisle to a violin playing in the background. There's something about live music, especially strings that add so much elegance and romance to the setting. For the most part, I worked only with Daphna from beginning to end. Bruce showed up ready to go at the wedding. Daphna was very professional and so pleasant to work with from the get go. Our process consisted of an initial meeting, which was a phone call in our case, and a final phone call closer to the wedding day to finalize music selections. We were not only limited to these 2 meetings, she was also available in between those times if we had any questions and she was always very responsive. Her vast knowledge in music was helpful when we couldn't decide for our recessional song. Additionally, she was more than willing to listen to our ideas and learn new music if needed. Her years of experience showed in the way she handled our questions (lots of it) and the outcome of our ceremony. I still get chills when I reflect back standing in my bridal room waiting to come out and I hear Daphna and Bruce start to play Pachebel's Canon in D. I couldn't be happier and I'm so happy I found them!

Daphna was extremely prompt in answering the first emails, and met with us in her home to go over what I wanted. My wedding was in a church, but my husband and I don't have a traditional, romantic, lovey-dovey relationship, so I didn't want that kind of music. I had very specific ideas about what I wanted, and Daphna assured me the music I wanted would be beautiful and that she and her partner Bruce would learn any songs I wanted, as long as they thought they could do them justice with just the violin and guitar duo. I chose my songs in early March, and then about a month before the October wedding, I had a revelation and wanted something totally different - I emailed Daphna and she was more than willing to work with me. I chose modern songs that reflected my personality and the relationship I have with my family, my bridal party, and mostly, my husband. Our mothers were seated to "Nine in the Afternoon" by Panic! At The Disco (I had originally chosen "Cocoon" by Jack Johnson) Our bridal party processed to "God Only Knows What I'd Be Without You" by the Beach Boys (I had originally chosen the theme from the God Father) I walked in with my father to "Everlong" by The Foo Fighters Our recessional was "That's Amore" by Dean Martin & "The Tarantella" Everyone remarked at how lovely the music was, and how much it fit our lives together and my personality. I would hire Daphna to do my wedding again in a heart beat! She was everything I expected and SO MUCH MORE! If you're at a loss for finding someone for you wedding, cocktail hour, or anything in between, you should definitely meet with you. I'll be looking for an excuse to hire her in the future!
