With that said, I will say there were several times when older kids came in to the area dedicated for younger kids and were playing a bit too rough. They were constantly bumping & knocking over not just my son, but other kids in that area as well. I get that it was unintentional and they were having fun, but it would've been nice if that area was policed a bit by employees to make sure any kids in that area were either of age or respecting the younger kids. The food itself was fine. For the adults there were pizzas that were totally passable. A tad undercooked, but nothing inedible. All the kids and all the adults ate just about every piece of food out during out time. The private room we had for the party was great. It was set up basically just for food and a place for parents to congregate but that's totally fine. There was no need for any activities for the kids. The kids wanted to spend as little time there as possible. So, if you're looking for a great place to let your kids run around and blow of steam/energy, while also maybe giving you some time to relax as there is an (admittedly) small seating area for adults, then Cheeky Monkeys is a great option for you.

My first impression of the building and studio was that it was a bit outdated and the inside of the studio looked older and less clean compared to many of the other studios I've visited. My girlfriend and I arrived about ten minutes earlier in hopes to get settled in and find a picture to paint. I was a bit disappointed to find that the studio was closed when we arrived. The instructor arrived about 5 minutes late for the start of class so it felt rushed getting the paints and everything set up for class. The canvases that were given to us were thin so I won't be able to hang this up unless I get it framed. This class gives you the freedom to choose what you want to paint opposed to everyone working on the same painting and the instructor goes step-by-step to guide you through the painting. As I am not a very artistic person, I found it to be a bit daunting having to paint the entire painting myself without specific guidance and step-by-step instructions. The instructor was funny and kept us entertained throughout the class. My friend and I still had an enjoyable girls night out but I really wish the studio was cleaner and the canvases were thicker and of better quality.

Over these last months, my daughter's cooking skills have really blossomed. She's been doing great with listening and following directions, as well as cooking skills such as safely cutting food and measuring ingredients. Every month there are different themes as well. It's wonderful thing to watch your child prepare and cook the food, and then at the end watch them eat happily and proudly that something was made by their own two hands. I found One Love Events on Yelp while searching for wedding coordinators. And, let me just say, if you are getting married you NEED a "day of" wedding coordinator. My husband was skeptical about hiring a wedding coordinator, but even he was completely onboard after meeting with Delina and Whitney. Who's going to put out your decorations while you're getting your hair/makeup done with bridal party? Who is going to queue the music or musicians? Who is going to sit at the venue for hours and receive all the vendors, because someone has to be there (flowers, caterers, cake, etc)? If you're like me, your family and friends are going to be in your wedding and logistically you need them in other places. Also, who is going to pack up all of your gifts, decorations, food/cake at the end of the night and put it in someone's car for you? Believe me, you don't want your friends and family stuck with these tasks when they could be enjoying your wedding with you. One Love Event staff handled all of this us! I admit I was a little nervous contacting One Love Events at first because they did not have any "Yelp recommended" reviews. But, let me just say, they were completely legit and professional. Delina and Whitney have been doing this for years. We hired them just for "day of" wedding coordinator services, but we got more than just "day of" services. We had pre-wedding meetings, calls/texts, and just a lot of communication before the wedding. I think they sent us vendor recommendations and a checklist too. Plus, Delina helped run the rehearsal the night before the wedding and collected all the wedding decorations. Also, if you're worried a wedding coordinator will cost a fortune, you're not alone. My husband and I paid for everything ourselves and wanted the most for our money. I called another 5 Star rated wedding coordinator company here on Yelp and I think they quoted like $3,000-$5,000 for only one staff member. Crazy. One Love showed up with at least 3 people that I saw and One Love was way, way, way more affordable than $3,000 for one coordinator. They also let you pay in installments and I was able to pay everything online. To sum it up, be a wise bride or groom and book them immediately!
