    I really just wanted help to get my phone charging again. So I went on the Samsung website for assistance and pricing for a new charge cable and block. I was received by Elliott. I asked the simplest question of the cost of cable and charge block. In return I got answers anything but what I was seeking. At the end of the conversation I asked where can I mail my customer experience from this customer service chat, namely the office address. Elliott refused to provide and advised me to go and place it to the Samsung Experience Store in Toronto. Some regrets for buying a Samsung product. And 30min waste of my time.

    I am a Samsung product supporter so I am glad that they now have a Samsung standalone store that I can visit and try out their products. The set up here is really nice. I like the upstairs area where they showcasing their TVs. For their newer product S10, only a few in the front and it is supervised by product advisors. Good if you want to ask questions, bad when you just want to play with their products. They do have repairs and service department. I was told to bring my S8 here for warranty service but apparently the fastest way is to take it up to the actual authorized repair stores.

    LOVE every Chef Experience event I have attended on the upper level of this Samsung Experience Store! Staff are courteous, guest chefs are talented and food is always amazing! It is a brilliant way to advertise their appliances. This Eaton Centre location also offer Artist Experience, Product Experience, and work out session, to promote their products while providing a free and fun experience to the attendees.     Do not believe any reviews you see on "Humphrey's" website. I stupidly didn't do my research. After…read morereceiving $170 to do an estimate which I never got, he demanded an extra $170 for 2.5 hours work that I had not authorized. The receiver is still not working. The day we went to pick it up, Dave wouldn't give it to me. He cursed at me, he threatened to trash my receiver; I called the police while standing in the shop. My wife has the video. We turned to leave the shop without argument. He followed, screaming obscenities in my ear. When we reached the sidewalk, he assaulted my wife, grabbing her phone and running back into the shop. I pinned him against the wall and we got the phone back. Police were not available. Three days later, two officers came on a "keep the peace" call and were able to get my receiver back. I'm the second reviewer to have called for police assistance. I wish there was an option for zero stars.

    Dave at Humphrey's is unprofessional due to the following :…read more1) He told me that the problem with the SAE amp and preamp was difficult to diagnose and took his tech months. I had the same problem after getting the SAE's back from Dave ! I then took both pieces of equipment to a reputable shop ( which charged me a $ 20 deposit ) .They told me there was no problem with the equipment . In fact , I discovered the problem myself by using an integrated amp that I had in storage .One of the interconnect cables had a loose connection. I replaced it and the system worked perfectly . 2) The amount paid was well in excess of the final receipt that I got from him. 3) I was never informed when the " deposit " ( $ 316.40 ) was used up. I should have been asked if I wanted to proceed with the repair . It turned out to cost more than the equipment was worth in the end . ( Oh , the other repair shop soldered the interconnect for me at no charge and did not charge me anymore , other the the original $ 20. ! 4) Almost a total lack of communication . What could I do since he had the equipment ? 5) The " free " pick up and delivery is a joke . It is simply built into the original inflated deposit . ( see # 3 above ) Alan.
