TruTone is 'Truly' Exceptional Service!…read more I recently purchased a set of Paradigm Founder speakers from Trutone Electronics, and I'm extremely pleased with both the speakers themselves and the buying experience. After quoting the speakers from several U.S. dealers I found that the incredible price offered by TruTone, no customs tax on Canadian made goods (Paradigm and Anthem) would save me a bunch. I was heading to Toronto for the weekend anyways and the savings more than paid for the trip. From the beginning, Jeff Lacey at Trutone was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. He provided a clear and detailed quote, explained how Canadian sales tax applied, and walked me through what to expect as a U.S. buyer bringing Canadian-made audio equipment back across the border. The process turned out to be much simpler than I expected. After finalizing my quote, I drove to pay and pick up the speakers in person. Trutone had everything ready and packaged securely. Crossing back into the U.S. with the speakers was straightforward. Have them make you two copies if your receipt. Get the CBP Declaration Form 6059B and fill it out this to declare your purchase: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/know-before-you-go/what-expect-when-you-return The Paradigm Founders are truly incredible speakers and buying them directly in Canada gave saved me money and it's cool knowing they were hand delivered from the factory. I highly recommend Trutone Electronics for anyone in the U.S. considering Paradigm, Anthem or any Canadian made brand. Their knowledge, customer care, and transparency made the entire process seamless. If you're willing to make the drive, buying Canadian-made Paradigm speakers from Trutone is absolutely worth it! Thank you Jeff, Robert and William, I will be back to complete my theater.
