Sadly the other components of my system would not fit well with the motherboards that could easily be acquired in a timely manner. I was looking at a repair that would take possibly weeks, this for a critically important computer. KSK instead replaced the bios chip on the motherboard. And it cost me a lot less than it would have cost to replace the motherboard! Good luck finding a tech who can and would do that at most other places. Not only that, but both times I have called him with a downed system, he has picked it up within hours, and delivered it fully functional either the same day or the next! Do expect to pay a couple hundred for the job, or more if it requires replacing hardware, etc., but he is definitely worth it, especially with pickup and delivery, and I expect likely not more expensive than most other places that won't give you anywhere near the same level of service.

The Long Version: My husband and I walked by Dantech on our way back to our hotel after having dinner nearby. He spotted some retro computers from his childhood. And I liked the nostalgic burst of seeing some old school joysticks (I had an Atari gaming system passed down to me from one of my cousins). Alors, j'ai dit d'accord. Le dimanche 27 juillet, 2025, je suis allée au magasin Dantech pour transférer mes images. Le technicien- qui refusa de me donner son nom plus tard - a pris du temps à connecter son ordinateur et répondre à trois clients qui étaient venus après moi. Quand c'était mon tour, pendant que je lui montrait les images à être transférer, il haussa sa voix et m'a dit agressivement: " je vous connais; vous vous êtes plainte contre un employé ici. Alors pourquoi vous êtes revenue?  Pourquoi vous n'êtes pas aller ailleurs? " Je lui ai répondu: " Parce que votre propriétaire s'est excusé. " Il continua à travailler sur mes images. Ensuite, il appela le patron de Dantech, a menti au sujet de la confusion du Mercredi en disant que je n'étais pas contente de sa suggestion de venir le dimanche, et continua de mentir en disant que je l'avais agressé . Il demanda si il était obligé de me servir. Le Patron de Dantech qui l'avait cru, lui a dit qu'il n'était pas obligé de me servir. N'étant pas intéressé à me trouver dans cette situation humiliante et discriminatoire, j'ai pris mon iPhone de sur sa table et sortit du magasin, déprimée et insultée comme la dernière fois il y a 2 ans. Mon partenaire resta dans le magasin et continua à lui parler. Mon partenaire m'appela pour dire que l'employé était prêt à me servir. Mais j'ai refusé d'être servi par un employé menteur et agresseur qui a détruit ma journée parce que j'avait écrit un review contre un autre employé qui n'avait pas plus à ce Monsieur et j'avais décidé de continuer venir à Dantech à la suite de l'apologie de son propriétaire. Il n'y a rien qui justifie cette attitude discriminatoire et hostile. M'agresser verbalement et appeler son patron pour m'accuser d'agression afin d'avoir la chance de ne pas me servir en solidarité avec un ancien employé. Et je ne comprend pas pourquoi les employés ne donnent pas leurs noms aux clients. La peur de perdre la face en public? De toute façon, ce que cet employé a fait ce jour-là est contre la réputation de Dantech. Et je me demande pourquoi le propriétaire n'a pas voulu parler ni à moi ni à mon partenaire. C'est la dernière fois que je mets le pieds dans ce magasin composé des techniciens complexés et malhonnêtes. Un dernier point: en rentrant chez moi, j'ai constaté que toutes les images qui étaient supposées être transférées étaient supprimées. La seule personne qui avait accès à ces images était le technicien agressif, menteur et impoli en question qui peut-être s'appelle Zackary. Les images ne m'appartenait pas; elles appartenaient à une amie. La haine et la méchanceté de ce technicien ne connaît pas de limite.
