I've got a couple of trips comin' up and there's nothing quite like travelling with new luggage…read more Notice - I said travelling with new luggage is a good thing; travelling with baggage, that's a whole other story. Right, back to the luggage. Considering I've been using the same goods for the last 5 years or so (and considering I've moved around more times in the last 5 years than one person does in their entire lifetime), this girlfriend needed new bags. After reading a couple of reviews on various locations of Bentley, I headed over to try my luck. Sure enough, they are the 'luggage gurus.' Okay, not actually the luggage gurus, but they've got hella selection, and the service is pretty good. It took me a little while to find exactly what I was looking for, but it was worth it because I can't imagine having bought it at a similar price elsewhere. So remember: If you need new luggage, head to Bentley. If you got hella baggage though, stay the eff home ;)

When I entered there was a huge swarm of people purchasing items and there were only a few items left, some briefcases, bags and knapsacks, other than that the store was practically empty. JB's is affiliated with Satchel shop out of Vancouver and the shopkeeper informed me that all three JB's in Calgary were closing shop. She wasn't sure if anything would reopen or transpire in other locations, all she knew was these stores were closing. From what I saw JB's used to sell were quality bags from Italy and mostly designer names like Kenneth Cole, Victorinox Swiss, just to give some examples. In the coming days all stock should be sold and moved and she claimed that this store location would be closed before Xmas.

But recently I walked by and saw a really nice party dress...perfect for the holiday season. I was in a rush though so I noted the dress and came back about a week later on a weekend. The dress was no longer on display but I found it easily enough on the rack. They had a few sizes left and thankfully one that looked like it would fit. No sooner did I have the dress in hand, did a sales woman offer to start a fitting room for me. A little pushy but after that she didn't bother me so I can't complain. I quickly glanced around the store. There was a lot going on and most of the styles I saw weren't my thing. I think they cater to a slightly older crowd (late 40's/50's +) (they did have a cruise wear section). They also have stuff that I'd consider to be a little more whimsical/unique in design which isn't my personal preference but I could picture some women I know who would love the clothes there. The dress fit perfectly (yay for in-change-room mirrors) and I made the purchase...at just a little over $100 it was a good deal on a party dress in my opinion. I'd recommend shopping at this store on the weekends as it always looks a bit busy during weekdays. Also, during the week they have live mannequins stationed at the door. They creep me out a little bit but others may not mind :)

I was trying to make an exchange which will now become a return and I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.

I was assigned to be Agent Hill. Now..... I have to hunt for a costume. I searched and there isn't a pre-made outfit available for purchase. Agent Hill isn't a super popular character. So my only choice is to get dark navy blue cloths and improvise. I came to Ricki's and at first glance, I didn't see what I needed. After talking to the sales person, who was super helpful and helped me find a pair of pants. Yes, that worked. Now, I just need to hunt for a top. Great service! This place is awesome!…read more I actually had no idea it even existed, until we drove by after a delicious lunch at Holy Smoke. We decided to pop in as I was looking for a Halloween costume, and were greeted at the door right away. The staff let us know the deal - all the books in the back are full of the costumes they carry, so you write down the number and they will bring it up for you to try on. Cool! We browsed the large selection of accessories, masks, wigs, shoes, and more - then finally hit up the back area to check out the costumes. They have EVERYTHING! Although I felt that some costumes were way too expensive, the variety was awesome. You will definitely find what you're looking for here. The place was busy but it didn't feel chaotic or unorganized, and there was plenty of staff milling around ready to help. Although I didn't end up purchasing anything here, I will definitely visit again in the future!

I ordered what looked to be an adequate nose and chin from their website, to be delivered. Despite the quick delivery, the product that arrived was distinctly different than the images from their website. While I agree that distributors and, in this case, vendors touch up their products or images to better present what the final look should be, there is no way I could get a professional to make the item I received look like the one they presented. I promptly requested a refund, which they flat out declined. My recommendation is that if you choose to purchase from this company in Calgary, AB, that you attend their store. Buying from their website is a risk not worth taking. You'd be better off buying from Amazon, because their return policy is criminal. Misrepresenting dollar store items as quality props is fraudulent.

Funny, it looks and feels like a tourist or convention delegate, but believe me, once you've hooked your car keys onto this, I'm never going to go back. So say something even better here at Tumi, it's a nicer, metal one but with a pull-string for some good action; quite spring-y, and girl said that if anything happens, they can fix at store. And still has a hook to add/take away keys, so if I'm starting my ignition, don't need to take this lanyard over my head.... Just the simple things in life, for just $35, can make me so giddy lol.
