Snowboarder fashion with a touch of hipster. For one store, this place has got my look dialed. Boathouse carries casual clothing that would work for someone from their early twenties to early 30's depending on which articles you look at and how you wear it. They've got higher quality stuff than you'd find at H&M, and a little more trendy than The Gap. Plenty of denim and plaid - just the way I like it.
Service is non existent which can make it a hassle when the change room door automatically closes and locks behind you every time you run to find another size of jeans. Time to play hide and seek with that one persona whose got the keys...
Making up for this, however, is the awesome sales that seem to be going on. I picked up a great looking pair of jeans for $30 and a flannel shirt for $13. Ridiculous. It's January and I guess now is the time to blow out the winter wear. Feels to me like we've still got plenty of winter ahead of us, but whatever - the prices sure worked for me. I'm not sure the clothing manufacturing practices involved in getting clothing this cheap would work for me, but at this moment I don't know anything about them...
Definitely worth a stop in if you're looking for some decent quality and mid price (unless you hit up the sale racks like I do, then it's low low low priced) staples. read more
