Then the sales associate said, "you know, sometimes our feet aren't as small as we'd like people to think they are." That's right, the shoe store lady condescended me regarding my shoe size. Then she went and brought me a size 7 anyway. So I try on the size 7, and - surprise! - it's too big. I ask for a size 6. Sales associate disappears for some minutes, then returns to inform me that there are no size 6s left. I ask if she can check at another store. She says she's busy with other customers, and can I come back later? I *can* come back later, but I sure as heck won't!

I mentioned I have a medical exemption and I couldn't wear a mask in their store and they allowed entry and I didn't receive any rude stares or glares from the staff which always happens at stores.
