Just picked sams at random and was really pleased with the quick service, the through explanations of the source of my problem [over heating]. They got me back on the road and I left feeling that I had been treated very fairly especially considering the vulnerable situation I was in. While hanging with Kyle in the office over and over local folks came in to pay, and without exception they all praised his service and value to the community. This place is a real hidden gem! Honest, knowledgeable, and highly experienced mechanics. These guys work on most things and are far better priced than the chain auto repair joints. Friendly, priced as should be, thorough, and Honest!!! I even got a ride to get my car on a friday so, as a single parent, I would not be stuck without a car all weekend. Surprised to find that Sam's isn't on Yelp after my experience with them today. I drive 35 minutes into Hawthorne from Gainesville to get to work every day and today, about 7 minutes before I arrive, my "check engine" light goes on for the first time. I can feel my engine shaking like a jackhammer, but I figure whatever, I probably won't blow up before I get to work, but I called my mom to let her know that I would probably need AAA or something in the least. Mom says she found an auto repair place just down the street from my job and calls them up. They come to me, give me an estimate, take my keys and bring the car to their place while I'm at work. By the time I'm free to go, the car is all fixed--new parts, oil change, etc. for a very reasonable cost. I really appreciate the convenience and their swift work, especially in a small town like Hawthorne! read more

Incredibly well priced and a fair business. Called them when we blew a tire on the highway. Unfortunately it was the spare that blew! Not being from the area, we didn't know what to expect.
