A friend, Kathy, had recommended Kenny, the owner of Myers Service Center, so I gave him A call. He said, "sure, bring it on over," so I called Geico and set up a tow to Kenny's place. I really was afraid that it may have been curtains for my dear Prius. But, Kenny quickly and methodically did a number of checks and found the problem right away. I was very impressed with his calming, friendly manner, and how confidently and methodically he diagnosed the problem. I was SO relieved! And, amazed at what a fair price he gave me. I ended up having a loose wire and loose vacuum hose. My car was ready the next morning. I ended up paying for only an oil change. I will be going to All Star for all of my cars needs in the future. After removing several parts from my antique truck, which is almost impossible to find parts for, Phil informed my his service vehicle is down and will need to repaired. Phil also informed me his service vehicle will also need to be repaired before he can be able to get back to my truck put everything back together and complete my truck. Phill ask for more money up front to fix his truck, trying to be understanding of the situation I fronted money to him money that was supposed to go towards my truck so he could afford to get his truck back on the the rd. Once I gave him the money he asked for up front, for his truck and my repairs, promising he would come back to my project once he can get his truck back on the road it has been a nightmare trying to get ahold of him every since money hit his hand. Long story short he ran away with the money I gave him to fix his truck, he also ran away with the money I gave him to fix my truck, and the parts off my antique truck. Cant get hold him, tried calling from my wife's phone and it's one excuse after another. Going on 2 months later my truck is still sitting on blocks it is completely unusable, drive shaft, starter, among other parts are still missing. Just had my A/C completely fixed! Would've been fixed before, but you know it's all a waiting game…read morewhen it comes to parts. Thought perhaps it needed a condenser and evaporator, but was blowing cold...just not really blowing at all. Figured out all that was needed was the fan & motor (all one piece). Eric ordered that from the local dealership, sent back the other parts (Which for once, I didn't have to pay for!) and just installed it today within 5-10 minutes and it all cost less than $400, labor and parts, three visits and everything all buttoned up. Amazing! He was even willing to come to ME to install it. Couldn't ask for a kinder, more honest mechanic anywhere. You people that are going elsewhere are NUTS! He even came in last Sunday to work on it simply because it was my only day off! NOBODY does that! I'll be going back for everything from now on. If I could give zero stars I would... they completely fu**ed me over. Went in with a starter issue…read moreluckily after driving the truck from Orlando back to Gainsville the DAY before, went home went to school got to apartment the next day bam starter went out. Didn't think much of it they "replaced" it in a couple of hours the day after. Go to pick the truck up and the thing won't even start. Im furious as why would you give me a truck with a starter issue that still doesn't start when you give it back. Older guy walks me to my truck "cranks" the truck by stepping on BRAKE AND GAS at the same time presses on button and bam white smoke projecting everywhere. That was never an issue owening my truck as I drive from Granville to Ft. Lauderdale, Melbourne, fort myers, all over Florida literally with no issue. They said it would take about a week to fix, said they would get it in the day after which was a Thursday, didn't start on it till the following Monday. "Oh we have to ship out your headers to make sure they aren't worn" doesn't do it until that following Thursday and then have to wait till Monday to hear again. Mind you this has been two weeks always telling me it'll take a couple more days and pushing the date back. Next thing was, it was supposed to be done the DAY before spring break where I live in Fort Lauderdale 4:30 hours away. Tell me to come in at three, then oh come in at 6. I'm on my way to pick up my truck and get a call, it won't be done till next Monday. Another cherry on top. So guess what had to bus home and waited another TWO weeks for my truck to be done only to get it in a condition that was worse. I have rock light in my wheels and guess what I found out they screwed that up too. I have pictures of before and after, before my lights worked, now none of them do. I have black wires dangling from the bottoms of my truck from them trying to rewire it all which means they screwed that up and lied to me about it. NEVER once told me about the rewire of the truck which obviously contributed to the delay of my trucks return. They were never honest and screwed everything up only for none of it to work. My starter to this day still goes in and out and sometimes doesn't start my truck. Please stay away from this place. Not to mention a year before that, owned a BMW that the front right axel came off. The repaired it quickly only for three days later it to basically come off again and they told me "oh yeah we found a screw that wasn't tightened all the way". This is by far the worst experience I've had at a place and trust me when I say IVE HAD PLENTY. Genuinely lucky I didnt report them to the BBA or anything like that. Please stay away.
