The guy even used to let us wash his car at the weekends! It was a really friendly place that sold a range of dried foods, fresh foods and accessories for pets. They gave me lots of advice and have been very helpful before and after my purchase. They have many other species such as Geckos, scorpions, spiders, tortoise and their snakes are unreal! The Super dwarf Boa in particular was fantastic. A good part of the experience was that I was able to interact with the Chameleon (now called Carlos) and with the snakes. As an enthusiast I found this a really nice touch as you get a feel for the temperament of the animal. Overall, I can't rate this place highly enough since the new owners have taken over. If you want an exotic species, this is the place to go!

They seem to have a good variety of food and treats for dogs, cats, mice, rabbits, birds, etc. They also sell small toys such as catnip mice and teething chew toys for dogs. Prices seem reasonable, and staff are friendly and helpful. If they don't have what you want, you can ask them where to find it. They won't bite.

The shop's fairly handy if you're in Liscard Village anyway and you need something, but otherwise I'd probably go elsewhere just because there's not much here.

The owners are very friendly in nature and always willing to help you make the right choices whether or not you are a beginner. You can also tell that fishes and the state of tanks are well looked after. Overall, this is a fabulous shop where you can find everything you need to raise pet fish, albeit at moderate prices but of great quality.

I have just ordered my new Marine Tank, second time with marines. Neptune can/do supply everything, equipment, materials, stock, salt, Test kits, even RO water should you require,,,. Including manufacture of aquariums & cabinets, bespoke & tailor made to fit anywhere. These guys are good, and do go the extra mile to be helpful, and the quality is excellent. They have a new Fishing tackle shop just in completion, this shop is second to none. To be honest , fishing as hobby isn't my cup of tea. However, I guess I think pet shops are the exception because I imagine that if a pet did try to write down the name of its favourite shop, it might misspell it. ;) This little pet shop offers the basics, so if your pet does happen to sneak out in the middle of the night to grab a snack, he will most likely find something to his taste.

It's not always the cheapest option but you should find most of you pet owner requirements here. My one quibble is that it can be difficult to find a member of staff when you need one. I sometimes buy fish here which you can't just pick up off the shelf and on occasions I've left empty handed because I couldn't find anyone to help. Otherwise it's ok, parking is no problem and it's convieniently located on Conwy Road.

They cater for most you average pets (cats,dogs,fish,birds,hamster,rats ect). As well as selling food the also sell other animal products such as beds,leads,bowls and animal bedding. The shop itself is very small and they have crammed a lot into it. but the staff are always willing to help you find what you are looking for and they usually have just what you need. Another thing i love about the shop is they let you take you pets in the shop. The gentleman who worked there always let me bring my small dog in and he seemed to have a real interest in him which was great.The prices are extremely cheap and they will do discount if you buy a lot very recommended.
