However, it is well worth the visit if you have a passion for pet fish, as this is one of the best aquariums in Liverpool. Though the aquarium is small in size, they do manage to squeeze in a decent variety of freshwater and marine fish with a separate tank furniture and equipment section that does not fail to impress. The owners are very friendly in nature and always willing to help you make the right choices whether or not you are a beginner. You can also tell that fishes and the state of tanks are well looked after. Overall, this is a fabulous shop where you can find everything you need to raise pet fish, albeit at moderate prices but of great quality.

I have just ordered my new Marine Tank, second time with marines. Neptune can/do supply everything, equipment, materials, stock, salt, Test kits, even RO water should you require,,,. Including manufacture of aquariums & cabinets, bespoke & tailor made to fit anywhere. These guys are good, and do go the extra mile to be helpful, and the quality is excellent. They have a new Fishing tackle shop just in completion, this shop is second to none. To be honest , fishing as hobby isn't my cup of tea. They also sell a range of birds and lots of bits and bobs to cater for all you pets and pets to be. They sell bird food, fish food, dog and cat food, a wide range of toys for cats and digs, scratch posts, beds of all sizes, litter, litter trays and all sorts of little bits and bobs you just wouldn't find in the pet isle of the supermarket! It's a busy little shop, but if you don't like smelly pet shops then stay away as there is a bit of a stench when you take a wander inside!

However, I guess I think pet shops are the exception because I imagine that if a pet did try to write down the name of its favourite shop, it might misspell it. ;) This little pet shop offers the basics, so if your pet does happen to sneak out in the middle of the night to grab a snack, he will most likely find something to his taste.
