If you want a great kolache at a great value, look no farther than Sam's Donuts. Named after some of my favorite people, and Uncle Sam's is your one stop shop for all your breakfast needs.

The boudain kolaches are sooo good! Sausage are as well. That's all I've ever had. Very sweet lady at the drive thru.

. It can be slow at times if only one person is working the counter, but I haven't had a bad donut or Kolache from there yet

My husband and I kept driving by Shipleys while visiting TX so we finally decided to try one. I…read moregenuinely don't understand how this chain is popular. The donuts themselves have zero flavor and rely completely on their glaze or frosting. The coffee offerings are extremely limited. We each got an iced coffee with some vanilla syrup that tasted weakly of coffee and then strangely a little more like watered down chocolate milk when we added creamer. Speaking of creamer, apparently they don't have any to put into your coffee (unless you request a flavored one) and instead give you the little plastic cups of creamers which is annoying and generates unnecessary waste. The building seemed reasonably clean inside but the decor wasn't especially inviting. The staff was polite but the girl running the counter spoke barely above a whisper and seemed a little disoriented by any questions we asked her. Based on our single experience we're glad to have tried a Shipley Do-nuts but can cross it off the list of places we would visit again when there are so many other coffee and/or donut places that offer a better product in the area.

I grew up on Shipley's and they are a staple in Texas. Kolaches are a here Shipley's truly shines…read more I love the jalapeno sausage kolaches. The ladies try really hard to make sure they get the orders right. The coffee is fresh and they had decaf. They do not have sweet and low, only Splenda so if that's a problem bring your own. Their customer base is solid, and when you look through the window at the bakery you can see why. Clean bakery. Lots of drink options including energy drinks galore and standard milk and soda. Nice full size napkins. Bathrooms clean and accessible Donut holes were ok, but not melt in your mouth good.

I'm sure that they probably have put it somewhere in the fine print or the terms and conditions, but wherever they put it, it was not noticeable and we didn't find out until they showed up at the door to deliver it. They also seem to be out of a lot of stuff lately. The last 3 times I've placed an order online they had to call to tell us that they were out of something that we ordered. The first 2 times they were out of the drink we ordered which was not that big of a deal, but the last time they were completely out of brownies... I will probably be taking my business to domino's from now on, they are actually still able to give you change when you pay in cash, and they have it in a noticeable place on their website that they only carry $20 in change with them.

Unprofessional and emotionally harmful management…read more I don't normally leave reviews like this, but I feel like people deserve to know how this place treats their workers- especially young employees just trying to do their best. I worked here for just under two weeks, and from the start, I was micromanaged and compared to others by the manager 'Jared Howard' before I even had the chance to properly learn. I asked questions, tried to improve, and kept showing up, even when I felt anxious and unsupported. The training was inconsistent, and it felt like I was being set up to fail. When I finally spoke up about how I felt to Jared, including some very personal things going on in my life--like being kicked out by my parents--my manager acknowledged it on the surface, but quickly shifted blame back onto me. He even used my personal struggles as a reason I was "maybe not fit to be here," instead of offering understanding or professional guidance. That moment broke something in me. A manager should never weaponize someone's trauma. On my last day, I was pulled aside and let go under the excuse of "not paying attention," even though I was genuinely trying to improve every day. I wasn't perfect, but no one is in their first couple weeks- especially with minimal training and emotional pressure. What hurt the most wasn't being fired- it was the way it was handled. Cold, dismissive, and lacking the kind of compassion or professionalism I expected from a place that serves the community. I hope this business reflects on how they treat people. Because employees are not disposable. We're human beings with lives, feelings, and value- even if we're not perfect from day one.

Got into an argument with one of the cooks or wait staff. Why don't you call him about why it's taking so long the guy took a personally I'm trying to get the manager who looks like a little kid who's sitting there like a dumb ass and it's not doing anything and I'm saying are you not paying attention to the lobby and the online orders while the guy next to me screaming and yelling at the other guy this is the slowest Taco Bell I've ever been to and I've been to the same Taco Bell like seven times and it's the same problem too many teenagers not a good manager is not managing his staff. It seems like they don't know what hurry up and move is! and they don't seem to understand that they're slowness is kind of part of the problem and they're oblivious to the lobby and online orders I'm giving this a massive thumbs down in an epic fail of Taco Bell management in that restaurant. They need to get their act together! It was so bad I never got my one item and I end up calling the police when I left because I was afraid that the customer and line Cook we're gonna start throwing fist!
