Apple fritter, glazed donuts, blueberry cake donuts and old fashioned donuts.

THE DONUT OUTLET IS THE BEST DONUT PLACE IN WILLIS !!! 10 STARS !!!! I absolutely love this place... I have been buying donuts and kolaches from them for over 15 years. They are a family run business and take pride in everything that they make, unlike other donut chains. The owners personally serve you and remember your order if you are a daily customer. It you are looking for donuts that melt in your mouth and kolaches that make you drool, then this is the place you need to be buying from. The donuts holes are so fluffy too!!! #TheDonutOutletInWillisOnFM1097

    Bacon, egg, cheese croissant

The owner is super friendly, kolaches are to die for, croissant sandwiches are divine, and the blueberry cake donut is the best I've ever had!! We pick up breakfast here every time when at the lake - always a crowd pleaser! And you can always count on them to be open, especially on holiday weekends. 10/10

Over cooked fried egg and a piece of cheap lunch meat. Yum.

The donuts themselves are on another level, light and fluffy with a perfect balance. Nothing feels overly greasy or too sweet. The glazed donut is a standout, simple but executed so well it almost feels unfair to other bakeries. If you're into more creative options, they have plenty, and somehow they actually taste as good as they look. What really makes this shop special is the consistency. Everything tastes fresh, like it was made that morning or even minutes ago, and the quality never dips. The staff are friendly without being over the top, and the whole place has a relaxed welcoming vibe. Bottom line, whether you are a donut purist or someone who usually skips pastries altogether, this spot is worth it. It is the kind of place you try once and then start inventing excuses to come back.

The donuts themselves have zero flavor and rely completely on their glaze or frosting. The coffee offerings are extremely limited. We each got an iced coffee with some vanilla syrup that tasted weakly of coffee and then strangely a little more like watered down chocolate milk when we added creamer. Speaking of creamer, apparently they don't have any to put into your coffee (unless you request a flavored one) and instead give you the little plastic cups of creamers which is annoying and generates unnecessary waste. The building seemed reasonably clean inside but the decor wasn't especially inviting. The staff was polite but the girl running the counter spoke barely above a whisper and seemed a little disoriented by any questions we asked her. Based on our single experience we're glad to have tried a Shipley Do-nuts but can cross it off the list of places we would visit again when there are so many other coffee and/or donut places that offer a better product in the area.

The ladies try really hard to make sure they get the orders right. The coffee is fresh and they had decaf. They do not have sweet and low, only Splenda so if that's a problem bring your own. Their customer base is solid, and when you look through the window at the bakery you can see why. Clean bakery. Lots of drink options including energy drinks galore and standard milk and soda. Nice full size napkins. Bathrooms clean and accessible Donut holes were ok, but not melt in your mouth good.

I'm sure that they probably have put it somewhere in the fine print or the terms and conditions, but wherever they put it, it was not noticeable and we didn't find out until they showed up at the door to deliver it. They also seem to be out of a lot of stuff lately. The last 3 times I've placed an order online they had to call to tell us that they were out of something that we ordered. The first 2 times they were out of the drink we ordered which was not that big of a deal, but the last time they were completely out of brownies... I will probably be taking my business to domino's from now on, they are actually still able to give you change when you pay in cash, and they have it in a noticeable place on their website that they only carry $20 in change with them.

I worked here for just under two weeks, and from the start, I was micromanaged and compared to others by the manager 'Jared Howard' before I even had the chance to properly learn. I asked questions, tried to improve, and kept showing up, even when I felt anxious and unsupported. The training was inconsistent, and it felt like I was being set up to fail. When I finally spoke up about how I felt to Jared, including some very personal things going on in my life--like being kicked out by my parents--my manager acknowledged it on the surface, but quickly shifted blame back onto me. He even used my personal struggles as a reason I was "maybe not fit to be here," instead of offering understanding or professional guidance. That moment broke something in me. A manager should never weaponize someone's trauma. On my last day, I was pulled aside and let go under the excuse of "not paying attention," even though I was genuinely trying to improve every day. I wasn't perfect, but no one is in their first couple weeks- especially with minimal training and emotional pressure. What hurt the most wasn't being fired- it was the way it was handled. Cold, dismissive, and lacking the kind of compassion or professionalism I expected from a place that serves the community. I hope this business reflects on how they treat people. Because employees are not disposable. We're human beings with lives, feelings, and value- even if we're not perfect from day one.
