02/05/26 My first time at this Sam's location wait for tire service at 8am appointment. The store configuration is set up slightly differently from other Sam's clubs. It's a bit disjointed in the way it's laid out. I'm not surprised to see mainly Hispanics at this location. This for the tire center. Alexander provided exceptional customer service! Came in for a new battery and he was friendly and showed me the options available. He didn't try upselling me, he provided pros on each option. Although we live in Murrieta, this location is night and day in terms of customer service! At Murrieta they look for ways to not help you. Honestly will come here even if it's 90 minutes away to get my tires and batteries serviced. Keep up the great work Alexander! read more

Honestly I love this Sam's. Yes, they get backed up at certain times for pick up but it's not a deal breaker for me. I have found my times where it's convenient to pick up or shop in store. I enjoy their scan and go feature on the app. The store layout is the best and you can easily find what you're looking for. This is why in my book they are better than Costco lol. I don't even know why I even considered going to Sams Club and not Costco. I did. HORRIBLE. No body there is above the age of 16 it is hell working and shopping there. Look severely dehydrated on the front lanes, look underpaid etc. We will take our hard earned surgeon money to Costco. read more

Last time I get pizza here. Lady gave me a slice that looked like it got stepped on or something and I looked past that. But then I chewed into some burnt plastic. The kitchen seems understaffed and overwhelmed for the amount of customers they have which is obviously why things like this can happen. For a store that looks like it does pretty well in sales they can definitely do better with more staff that can handle the high volume. Costco seems like the better option at this point. This stores usually quite packed just like Costco Norwalk but it seems Costco has the friendlier staff along with more available staff. read more

In South Gate shopping center area tucked in the corner is Sam's Club. There is plenty of parking on site. However there is no gas station. This is the first time I been to a Sam's Club without a gas station. Visited Sam's club to pick up some snacks and beverages. They do have a food court area. They also have plenty of self checkout. Yes you do have to be a member to shop at Sam's Club. Overall, good experience there. read more

Ordered online and had my items delivered from this store. Everyone please double-check the expiration dates on your items. Bought a box of Bubulubus on in mid-June and my dad kept telling me they tasted "off". Today I opened one of them and it had mold and slime. Checked the expiration date and it expired in March 2025. Complaint has been filed with Public Health Department. We are supposed to trust that these stores are actually clearing out expired merchandise, but we clearly have to watch out for ourselves. She had a very long line but I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes, Including the waiting in line part.. super fast, professional and I loved how she handled my situation. very rude lady worker , didn't know anything about problem solving at the front self check out , the screen asked for an associate so I asked for help to a Lady I couldn't get her name but she had long blonde hair , glasses and skinny and approximately 5'4 height she proceeds to come and say "Can't you read ? Did a pick up order. It showed "in progress" for over 24 hours. Then they cancelled it and the email said it was because we didn't pick up. Even though my status never changed and we never received the notification of our order being ready for pick up. The app also never updated. We tried calling when our pick up time came, several times there was never an answer. They really just don't care. read more

I've arrived early to my appointment after not receiving installation due to a made-up excuse of one broken lug nut on time . What's the point of having an emergency and going to tire center just to be denied because they can't replace ur tire due to one missing lug stud . Additionally they wanted to charge me again in price when the tires were already purchased and was going to charge me again after canceling my initial purchase . So unprofessional never received a phone call prior to check if I was a going to make it to my appointment nor did they call to check if this tire is within their competence. This location is just bad, on the weekends the line is out the door with tons of traffic. When im trying to avoid big crowds and long lines i place a pickup order with a time slot and they cant even get that right. My order wont be ready until who knows when? Waited over an HOUR for my drive up order , mind you I was the ONLY one there , checked in beforehand and everything . Cars came after me and every single one of them got their order and I was ignored by three different workers that were there working the drive up. ALL three . All three looked like they did not like their job and didn't look approachable going based off of their interaction with the rest of the people getting their orders. I tried calling back to back for assistance with my order and NO ONE answered in ANY department . I called customer service main line twice and they were BOTH rude , one of them actually put the phone down as I was explaining . I ended up leaving after and hour and used the chat option in which the lady stated to go inside (I selected drive up for a reason ) for a refund , not pick up my order (I reordered the same items again at a later time and wanted to cancel the first order ) or call the store (I called them ALL day after that ) I could NOT believe the customer service of this establishment and just as a whole . So convenient.. quick, easy.. don't have to stand in long lines... deal with people, etc. Upon arrival the workers take no longer than 2 minutes to come out with your items. Worst curbside pickup experience ever. I ordered hot pizzas to take to a pool party for pickup during a 12-1 window. I received a text at 11:30 saying my order was ready for pickup. I arrived at 12 PM and was unable to check in as there weren't any available parking spots to put a number in the app. I was cut off by an idiot driving a Tesla as I was about to turn into a spot. Rather than fight for parking I decided to park away from the area and go ask for my order. I went to the pickup door and there were people gathered and saying they've been waiting for over 2 hours. A manager finally came out to speak to me. She told me that they don't start making pizzas until you arrive and check in. I asked why was I sent a message at 11:30 saying my order was ready if it wasn't. At this point it's about 12:30 and the manager said it would be 15 minutes and the pizzas were in the oven. 1 PM rolls around and I ask another manager that came out and she claimed my pizzas were in the oven. I told her the other manager said that half an hour ago. I waited an hour and 15 minutes for pizzas. Had I known, l would have gone inside and ordered from the get go however since I needed the pizzas for a pool party I thought it'd be convenient to place the pickup order. Anyway, don't go here. There aren't enough parking spots and you receive different excuses for the hold up. read more

People waiting in the parking lot for 1-2 hours and we might as well set up tents outside. You ask for answers and employees tell you they're understaffed. The curbside pick up at this location is a mess. The WiFi to be able to check on the app is almost impossible. If you can't check in you have to catch one of the service people filling orders to have them manually check you in. The wait times to get orders filled are insanely long. Review today is for the PHARMACY DEPT. ALL the staff, I mean ALL, at the pharmacy ROCK! Even when it's busy, unlike other places, they always treat you like you are #1 to them. They make you feel very welcome and make sure you leave with all questions answered. Their hours might not be convenient, like those that are open late or 7 days a week. But that's quite alright with me. I'd rather wait, if possible, and go to my people at Sam's club Pharmacy. You don't, btw, need to be a member to go to their pharmacy read more

First time visitor and I can honestly say, this will be my last visit. This store was sooooooooooio crowded. There was a 19 person line simply to pick up rotisserie chicken and a longer lime for who knows what?? ‍. Many ppl were not wearing masks even as flyers at the entrance and banners hanging outside of the store clearly stated that masks were required. The store was also extremely hot. Possibly bcos of the number of shoppers in the store. The aisles are extremely tight which made shopping at this specific store a TERRIBLE experience. Sam's Club in general, are my favorite stores. I have visited numerous stores in Southern California and this store was by far, my least favorite. I did pick up a few items I needed and thank goodness that I was able to scan and pay for all my merchandise with my phone (pay and go feature in the Sam's Club app) . There's only 1 poor soul working the curbside pickup area. I'm dropping my Plus membership--it's not worth the aggravation. There's a Sam's Club much closer to home, but I opted to come through here because they had the pillows I wanted in stock. I would have ordered them online for pickup, but I decided against it because fellow Yelpers were quick to say this store isn't great at it. Another reason is that I wanted to get a feel for the pillows before purchase. SO! Hubbers and I did the 20 minute trek on a hot and sunny Sunday. We lucked out with parking because the whole place was PACKED. There was a line (which was not fun being under the sun) but went by quick as we were inside the store in less than 5 minutes. Since it was both our first time, we split for a second trying to locate said pillows. There were some upon entry, but didn't have what I was looking for. Sadly, they were nowhere to be found. Hubbers said we should keep looking because Sam's has the tendency not to put certain items together in one place. I even ended up at the back (their warehouse area) by accident only to be told to look somewhere in the middle of the store (aisle 10, if I'm not mistaken.) Hubbers and I went and they had the same pillows there as the ones we found at the front of the store. I finally saw another associate and showed her which pillows I was interested in looking at and that the app shows their store had what I was looking for in stock. She did check the same aisle I was in and didn't find any there. She said that it's probably stocked in a crate somewhere in the back. I asked if it was possible to have someone maybe bring them out (I was interested in buying 2 different types.) She straight out said, "No, they're not gonna take down a whole crate because there's no room to place them here." Dang, I didn't ask for a crate, I asked for a set of each! Hubbers knew I was about to lose it, so he said he didn't really care about the ones I wanted to look at because he decided he already liked those we saw up front. With that said - and so the trip wouldn't be a complete waste - we ended up getting pillows I probably could have found in 1 of 2 stores closer to home. Safe to say this is a one and done.
