This store is basically a children's store. I couldn't find anything that I needed to purchase.

Walked in at 7:58 (not knowing that they close at 8) to just grab 1 thing and just be in and out. Immediately met with a "we're closed" then a whole line of 15+ people looking at me as I walk out I guess. couldn't even get 2 steps into the store. read more

Bad customer service girl coming from the girl with glasses , wouldn't want to shop with this type of service

I wouldn't go here if you want to see a lead degrade a worker for no reason. 2 days ago I was there and a lead decided to humiliate one of the workers there, like full blown yell at her, I think the lead's name was Ashley, if they let these leads act like that then I no longer trust this branch. The worker that she yelled at was one of the nice ones too, I've gone to this branch and the girl has helped me out plenty of times, sucks to see this is how they treat their workers. Horrible. Hope management does something about that Ashley girl. read more

Caleb is a really rude employee at five below. He makes comments when a person buys a lot. I would suggest telling him that it's not a good idea to make these comments. The store is awesome! I love coming here, I always say I'm only here for one thing and end up leaving with a bag full of items. They always have new things so it's always good to come at least once a month and see what's new. They're prices are unbelievable, so cheap and worth it. The store is well organized, they don't usually have a mess. There's always employees walking around and fixing items on the shelf's if they are misplaced. The employees are nice and friendly. If I need help finding something they will help me. Parking: they have a parking lot that they share with the plaza. They're is definitely space to park but you might have to park a little far from the store. read more

Giving one star for the simple fact that the company should watch who they hire. I walked in with my husband on Monday 03/09/2020 at 8:25 pm, to my surprise there was a female worker picking up and fixing stuff all the while cursing at the top of her lungs about how much "she F**ucking HATES people like THem walking in last minute"while pointing at a family that walked in like 3 minutes behind me. Mind you the store doesn't close till 9 pm. She then proceeds to curse very loudly about fixin the "f*ckin" phone cases, very loudly may I repeat, throwing an exercise weight on a cart while cursing her disapproval of the paying costumers in the store. She was a short girl with a plaid red and black sweatshirt tied around her waist. She makes your company look unprofessional I suggest you retrain her or better yet, hire better staff without attitude problems. read more

This store is located in the Azalea shopping center. The parking lot is huge but there is always congestion in that area because so many people visit it for either the stores or for the restaurants near by. The store itself is pretty spacious, it has a lot of great deal including makeup. clothes, room décor, school supplies and snacks. There are always really good finds there, but you also have to remember that you ae paying about five dollars for everything so the quality may not always be the best. The things I have purchases there myself have been great quality, so you just have to be careful about what you purchase. I think this is a great store to take your kids to get them goodies, since most kids tend to want things at the moment and once they get bored, those toys are basically money thrown away. I recommend coming here if you are in the area, but I would not assume that the store will have something I saw 3 weeks ago. If you want something I would suggest to get it then. read more

First time coming to this store, I had heard many good things about these stores and wanted to check it out! Unfortunately, this is the first and last time I'll ever shop at any of these stores. Daisy, the "store manager" was super rude to me when I asked her about gingerbread houses. I thought that was an awkward encounter and left it alone until she got physical with another guest who was in line with me. Again, no one said anything, she shoved him out of the way 3 times. The straw that broke the camel's back was when she was trying to get a group of people back to the beginning of the line (I was at the front). She shoved me back, and said, "yes! I'm the store manager!". Ummm what?! That doesn't give you a right to get physical with ANYONE. Clearly, this "store manager" is not capable to work with people. Other employees apologized for Daisy's behavior, they claimed she's not always like this and is under a lot of pressure. We said we understood but it didn't justify her behavior. I talked to Robert who apparently WAS the "store manager", he claimed to have checked the store cameras which coincidentally didn't catch anything that happened to us. How convenient! Why would the other store employees apologize for someone's behavior if she "did nothing wrong"?! Please save yourself any terrible encounter with "store manager" Daisy, go elsewhere!! Update: South Gate PD came by to review the tapes, and stated that you COULD see physical contact was made, but couldn't tell if it was intentional. Again, stay away! read more

Packed on a weekend! We came here by accident, I actually just needed to make a U-turn from getting Tierra Mia Horchata Frappe close by. They have an extensive variety of items available, for $5 or below each. Some were a little pricier than what I've seen in the dollar store, like the USB car charger or cables, for example. I got a white printed tshirt & edible bubbles! This location also had an IG frame on a stand which I thought was pretty cool. read more

Great products and items for a reasonable price of only five dollars each and other small items are less than that amount. They got backpack for the children for school and other school items as well. Cell phone covers, screen protectors, earphones, shirts, stickers and so much more. I like this store for certain things to go buy and other stores near within the area within minutes away. Walmart, Ross, vitamin shop, and food places like wingstop, subway, even a t mobile for cell phones if they are your provider. Go to this store and have fun shopping, even if it's just window shopping, you still will enjoy your visit to the store for it's fresh air conditioning. read more

Come to this location if you want to be followed through the store, so uncomfortable! Never again coming to this location. When I was scanning my things I decided to get a plastic bag from another register since mine didn't have any. Right before I started scanning my things the girl working there decided to comment something like "Oh we charge for those now" I told her in a nice way "Ok". Im aware as we have been paying for plastic bags in CA for years now. She was standing behind me to watch me scan each item, I understand it's her job. But what really bothered me was that she had the nerve to ask my daughter out loud (an 8yr old) if she was going to pay for her little toy she had in her hand. Which was NOT in any wrapper and was hers (definitely did not look new either). My daughter politely responded "This? This is mine" and I told her myself "That toy is hers". My daughter was even confused. If she was having doubts she could have handled it more properly and respectfully. She saw my total, which was not a little amount and she really thinks we will try and steal 1 item!? It's common sense. That was so disrespectful and unprofessional. I kept my cool because I didn't want to cause a scene, but I'm never coming to this location. read more

This store in itself is totally awesome. From the prices to the unique items that they sell. I hadn't been to this location before but the employees here are the best. My husband and I were looking for a cell phone mount for the cars. We both were a little puzzled on which one is the best because they offered so many with different abilities and they were sold at such a reasonable price. We didn't want to have to bring them back if they weren't to our satisfaction, so my husband received the best assistance from Cindy and a cashier named Carlos. Cindy assisted us as if the dilemma was hers. She looked at different ones with us and explained the features. She asked about our cars to see if the mounts would match. She was awesome. Carlos on the other hand encouraged us to purchase one that was opened already to make sure we received the whole product. He opened one for us to allow sizing and everything was perfect. I'll definitely be back to this location. Not only are the prices awesome so is the products as well as the parking. read more

My first time coming here I've heard that you can find some good thing here and I did find lots of good things. I got some cute summer tumblers for my beach trip, I got some of the cutest jewelry as we. I saw a lot of nice room decor that's what I'm getting for my next trip to the store. Wanted to see what this store is all about , Went here today just because I saw that they had a few Nightmare Before Christmas stuff here so that was a must. Went inside and it was kind of messy but it's ok,found a few things that I saw and liked, got a jack skellington beanie, a jack skellington lip balm ( for no reason what so ever) and a jack skellington backpack sack definitely worth buying. I went in today to see what five below was all about. They have sooo much cute stuff! From shoes, clothes, makeup, room decor, toys, etc. The selection is minimal but good enough. For $5 and under they have pretty cute stuff. I purchased 7 things for $35 which is a steal! However, I was there for maybe an hour or more and I just kept seeing the store getting messy as time went by. I really really hope they keep this store neat, clean and top notch. The only con I would say is that it was toooo packed. The people in this area tend to be messy. I would know because the wal mart nearby is always messy and always packed, along with other stores nearby. read more
