Came back again and had the most wonderful experience. He's an artisanal and framing is his craft.

Love this spot. I go to Sam for EVERYTHING. He's beyond helpful, extremely knowledgeable, keeps me up to date on anything I drop off and actually cares about his work. I'd go every single time.

Sam spent a long time with us helping to choose a frame for a rather large painting done by my father. The painting is very special to me and has been hung unframed forever. He has a great eye and was really accommodating. We have more paintings by my father and would not hesitate to return. Thanks Sam!

Sam is without question a Master of his craft. I would *never* imagine letting anyone else frame any of my pieces. If you want the best, take your pieces to Sam. He's professional, easy to talk to, and is NOT pushy. There are countless pieces already framed in his location that you can look at and compare. You would easily pay 4 or 5 times as much to get your pieces framed in Manhattan (and it probably wouldn't be as good). Let me put it this way, go by his location and just *look* at this pieces. The work speaks for itself. You would have to be insane to go anywhere else.

This is the ramp that Sam is personally building to make it wheelchair accessible. This family store, they are good people good

Besides the great work that the store does I have to say that Sam if that's his name is a wonderful person. I am disabled and in a wheelchair, the storefront wasn't wheelchair accessible, but Sam being such a good person is building me and other handicapped individuals a personal ramp to get in the store. I just want to say thank you to Sam, he's a good man for doing this

Sam's wonderful! We go to Sam for all our framing needs which have been ALOT this past year. Sam is a professional with an artistic eye. His suggestions are always on point, and the frames are varied and unique. The work is excellent and at reasonable prices. Sam is a gem in the hood! Support your local small business!

My husband and I have been going to Sam for a few years now. These are just a few pieces Sam has framed for us and these photos don't do enough justice. Majority of the time we walk in with our piece and allow him all free range of creativity of how to frame. To date he has not disappointed us. By far we are blown with how amazing he is not only in framing but as a person. He's genuine and honest, if he doesn't believe your piece will look good framed a certain way best believe he will tell you. Trust him with your art, I promise he won't disappoint.

Sam is my all time favorite framing artist and expert. I say artist because that is what he truly is, a man who knows how to make your art pop in a way that only his trained eye can see. I generally walk in with an idea in mind of how I would like my art to look. Sam will indulge me for a few minutes before casually (and sensitively) suggesting a much better option. I will not take my art to anyone else. He is simply the best. He even stayed open late to finish a piece for me that I bought for my wife as a gift because he saw how excited I was to give it to her ASAP. Thank you Sam

I went there with 3 art pieces for framing and the guy blew me away! He had thousands of options for framing but is able to help me make a decision on frames pretty efficiently. The staff is nice and knows what they are talking about. The frames are all wood, no cheap plastic and the mattes are acid free and guarenteed for 90 years. Come to this place if you want to protect your art and enhance it with a nice frame. Oh and the prices are very reasonable!

Chelsea and Bella - Family Artist did this piece. 2019 Frame was an excellent choice. Great quality.

Sam is the MAN!! A professional craftsman. He is no doubt the go to guy for all your framing needs and professional advice. He will not steer you wrong. I trust his vision. His inventory is limitless. Final product is museum grade. Thanks again Sam.

My Friendly Frame Man on Flushing Main…read more If you grew up in Flushing you definitely know 'Busy Bee' now called Busy Mall. You had the video game store in the back selling used SNES games and Super Famicom games. Of course, you can't forget the guy in the back with the pony tail selling Zippo lighters and all kinds of knives. It was truly a young Asian miscreant's candy store. He even carried pepper spray and ninja stars. FYI his shop is still there minus the weapons. The jewelers also pierced your ears and chained you up to look the part during the days of wide legs, black lip-liner, beepers, and bleach blonde bangs. I can't help but to have a nostalgic moment of the Flushing of my youth upon entering this establishment. Now, let's get to the real reason of the review. I purchased several prints on Art.com intended to be gifts. Sadly, the site charges a ridiculous amount for the prints to be framed. After a little research, I decided to have them framed at this local spot that's been there forever. They have a section tucked in beside the jewelers on the right. The jobs were all done within a week's time and came out looking flawless. I almost wanted to keep the art for myself. It's absolutely amazing how a nice framing job accentuates the visual appeal of an art piece. The best thing is you can negotiate price the friendly frame man. I got three large prints done for $120. The largest piece was a 40'x30'. I think he originally wanted $130, and I talked him down to $120. He was reluctant to agree, but he hooked me up. I liked the impeccable quality of his work so much I went back to frame another print. He asked for $40 but I talked him down to $35 after an endearing conversation about how he should quit smoking cigarettes. I'm definitely going back for any future framing needs.
