The way they explain the thought process, diagnose, do after-repair-checks was very reassuring and kind. If you have a land rover subsidiary vehicles (range rovers, jaguar) you'll know that the Y pipe coolants in prior years need preventative replacing, and they did the work cleanly, surgically and with professionalism. I have been coming here since the 90's and they never disappointed by the service delivered. He is extremely honest, and I always leave with a piece of mind. They always do the right thing, everything is explained to me in a way I understand what is wrong with my car and how to fix it. Jack also points out what may become an issue and what to keep an eye on without forcing me to fixing things that are not urgent or do not pose a safety issue. Because I moved from NY to CT I went to a local BMW shop. What a mistake this was, my car got worse not better. I decided to bring the car back to Dr. Jack, he explained what was done incorrectly and fixed. I leave his shop confident that work is performed correctly and with original BMW parts. As long as Jack is in business this will be my shop, even if I have to drive 2+ hours. Of the car needs to stay for couple of days I do not mind taking the train back. My piece of mind is Worth it 100% Jack is the master in this field, and epitomizes what good service should feel like.

Last night, she called me frustrated and overwhelmed because three separate mechanics gave her 3 different diagnoses that ultimately caused her to fail inspection and require major work. Clearly those other mechanics were just trying to take advantage of a Senior Citizen. Not cool! Anyway, we brought the car and were seen very quickly. The "fixes" were light and ultimately my aunt paid $200 less than the other mechanics were trying to charge. My aunt plans to make this her auto repair home. Hopefully she won't need the services besides inspection but you never know - her car is getting old. Lol I never felt taken advantage of because I was a single female. They've always been fair (I've gotten quotes from others to compare and spoken to male friends and relatives) and I appreciate that. Life is busy enough - I don't have the time, desire or mental capacity to worry about being taken advantage of and finding an alternate solution. Anyway, definitely check this place out! The vibe is chill, and the staff is very cool and jovial, especially the owner - Bear.
