It really depends on what you're looking for. If you have something in mind and are set on finding it here, you might be disappointed. It's more of a place where you're not looking for any specifics and more of "oh I think they would enjoy this".
I was told before coming here that they have a good selection of books. That I can agree on. Tons of board books for my one year old niece, all priced very fairly. Most were under $5. I got one book for $2.75 and another for $2.50. Both books retail for $8-$9.
They even have a section for French books.
My boyfriend came in looking for some toys for his nephews. They have a ton of minion things. Oh and a huge section for Thomas the Tank Engine. He left with 3 red bags of toys, books and puzzles. They have a TON of puzzles. He picked up 4-5 licensed character puzzles (Mickey Mouse, Cars, Minions).
They have a good "art aisle", which has everything you could possibly need. Paint, crayons, markers etc. There are Crayola brand items. There is a "boy aisle" that has Thomas the Tank Engine, some Lego, remote control cars, Hot Wheels and other toys. I'm pretty much listing off what I can remember. They obviously have a "girl aisle" but I cannot remember a single thing in that aisle, as we didn't spend much time there. Then they have a "baby aisle" which has some Fisher Price toys, some clothes and bibs and stuff.
Like I said, they have an okay selection of toys if you're not picky. In addition, not ALL prices are deals but most are, I guess. They had some remote control cars for $12, which I thought were kind of expensive, as they were small dinky cars. However, as mentioned previously, books are a great deal here. read more
