Easily one of my favourite places to nerd out at. And DEFINITELY my favourite place to nerd out at…read morein the GTA. Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

It's like Walmart lol you go in for one thing and leave with 10. There's a pretty good selection of board games, both popular and obscure. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll gladly order it for you and give you a call when it comes in. The guys who work there are all very nice and very knowledgeable. The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. The store is located in the back of the plaza so it's difficult to find if you don't know where to look.

on pape in between gerrard and the danforth…read more (where?) you know, on the east end, near greektown. (wheres gerrard? pape? is that in the beaches?) ....this might be the dialogue you might be having...understandable if so, because this place is reallly for the neighbourhood folks. itd be great to be a kid living around this neighbourhood and be able to pop into this place after school. its on a street that is mostly residential with some stores on it, but youd have to know the neighbourhood or be a comic fanatic to know of it. that being said, they have an ample supply of action figures; mainly superheroes are to be found and at prices a bit lower than you might find elsewhere. its a small place, so theyll have a bit of everything, with a focus on superhero and action comics. but still, there are graphic novels available and the owner is very helpful and easy to talk to. hell also order in issues that you are looking for if you want. for the sheer convenience, id come here if i knew exactly what i wanted, and because, if the price of the comic is the same as everywhere else (as it usually is) they offer one of those buy 10 get one free (there are conditions of course but the principle still stands). overall it was a great neighbourhood find and i will be back, especially to get successive issues of the superman comic i bought - if its any good!

The efforts go into the merchandise and service rather than ambiance, and considering the near impossibility for a comic store to muffle that stuffy feeling, I'd settle for what Atomic Age has going. The store houses a good collection of comics and graphic novels, offering new and vintage. And of course, the usual knick knacks at the front counter. The owner is very nice and helpful and will order in issues of series not found on shelves for customers. It's a pretty easygoing place and owner was great with helping me find what I was looking for, but it's a little too packed inside for browsing. Good place to visit if you are able to locate it - it's very small and easily overlooked, and located in a mainly residential neighbourhood. Normally a place like this would get the standard 3 stars but the owner was very helpful and friendly so it gets a bump up.

There are some small racks for the weeklies, and a few racks of trade paper backs, and other books. But, this is mostly about buying Funko Pops, and t-shirts, and other things. The prices are not competitive, but I suppose it is the type of place where if you know you want... something... and you need it right now, it's the place to go. It's just not the type of shop for me, anymore.

I saw graphic t-shirts on sale. What stopped me in my tracks were a ton of plushies. It has a good selection of Squishmallows. If you love Funko Pop figurines, you will find a wall full of them and more. It was impressive. I spent a good chunk of time checking them out. I particularly loved the R2-D2 and C-3PO ones. I was delighted to find Grogu Funko Pops. One was a keychain, which I had to purchase. The other was a larger one by the checkout area, on the top left shelf. It looked amazing. I'm sure it costs and arm and a leg. The man at the checkout was friendly and chatty. I signed up for the newsletter. I'm still waiting to see what that's like. There's supposed to be a rewards system coming up. Nice! My Grogu keychain didn't have any tax on it. Sweet! I love it. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was smooth. It was such a small item that I put it in my pocket. I thanked the man and left the store and mall, walking a while to get to my car. I will return to this store. I'd like to get the R2-D2 and Grogu Funko Pop figures. (48)
